The Verse Library offers a curated selection of Scripture for memorization. Access it through the “My Verses” section of the app.
- Browse through 60 pre-made collections organized by topic and theme.
- Add an entire collection to your verse list with a single tap, or select individual verses from within a collection.

How to Create Your Own Verse Collections
Collections help you organize your verses by topic, study plan, or any grouping that works for you.
For New Verses
Create a collection first by naming it and saving. Then add new verses directly into that collection as you enter them.
For Existing Verses
Edit an individual verse and assign it to a new or existing collection using the Collections button in the verse editor.
How to Edit a Verse
An “Edit” button appears next to each verse in your verse lists. Tap it to open the verse editor where you can modify:
- Verse reference (book, chapter, verse numbers)
- Bible translation/version
- Collection assignment
- Verse text
After making your changes, tap “Save” to update the verse. Editing is also available directly from the memorization screen.
How to Delete a Verse
To delete a verse, select the “Edit” button next to it. At the bottom of the verse editor screen, choose “Delete” to permanently remove the verse from your list.
How to Edit a Collection
Select a collection to view its contents. An “Edit” button will appear in the top navigation area. Tap it to modify the collection name, then save your changes.
How to Delete a Collection
From the collection's edit screen (see Topic 6), select “Delete Collection” to remove it. The verses within the collection will remain in your verse list but will no longer be grouped together.
How to Use the Three-Step Memorization Process
BibleMemory.com uses a proven three-step process that progressively challenges your recall. Access “Typing Mode” to switch between levels:
How to Review Verses
Once you master a verse, it enters the automatic spaced repetition review system. This scientifically-proven method schedules reviews at increasing intervals to move verses into your long-term memory.
- Review frequency is higher initially, then gradually spaces out as you demonstrate retention.
- Access verses due for review through the “Review” button. Verses that are due will appear highlighted.
- You can also manually review any verse at any time by selecting it from your verse list.
