There are several ways to begin memorizing Scripture. Choose the method that works best for you.

Method 1: Enter Your Own Verses

The quickest way to start is by adding your own verses directly.

Access My Verses

Navigate to the “My Verses” page and tap the red plus button to add new verses.

Add or Import Verses

Choose “Add or Import Verses” from the menu to begin entering your scripture passages.

Enter Verse References

Type in the verse references you want to memorize and import the text automatically.

View Your Passages

Your added passages will now appear in your Memory Verses list, ready for memorization.

Browse curated collections of verses organized by topic to find the perfect passages to memorize.

Navigate to Verses by Topic

Open the “Verses by Topic” option from the main menu to browse available collections.

Browse Collections

Use the left sidebar to explore different topical collections such as faith, love, hope, and more.

Select Verses or Collections

Pick individual verses that resonate with you, or add an entire collection at once.

Access Your Selections

Your chosen verses will be available through the Memory Verses list for practice.

Once you have verses in your list, use our proven three-step system to lock them into memory.

Start by typing out the verse as you read it. This initial exercise helps you engage with the text and begin building familiarity with the words.

Next, work through the memory reinforcement stage. The app progressively removes words, helping you recall the verse from memory.

Complete the final proficiency stage to earn a red check mark, confirming you've fully mastered the verse.

Memorizing a verse is just the beginning. The review system ensures you retain what you've learned for the long term.

Access the review system through the “Review” menu
Track your mastery level and identify verses that need reinforcement
Receive daily or weekly email reminders to keep you on track (configurable in settings)
Automatic review interval scheduling uses spaced repetition to optimize your retention
