to the second point, not the first
Also, I meant to say my instead of me. 😅
Little bro, but I act older 😎
Wait didn't u say that Rian was ur big bro or smth Noah?
I started a year or 2 ago
Really? When did you first start watching them?!? They were my childhood.
Noah, I only knew it as squared media, until I watched their older vids
What are you talking about Ri?
Crap dude. Wat is up wit me bro!
Wow....... Again, that's a lot lol.
All the Troglos who were in the Undergarden either left, succumbed to the Rot, or eventually died of mineral starvation in the long term/run.
But that’s getting too far into the future. Let’s stop there.
The Stoneborn were now left to deal with the threat of the Rot on their own.
The remains of the Troglos were buried overtime and eventually became the cloggrum we all know today. The few remaining Troglos who could return to their homeland did so before they too lost their shells. As for the stragglers who could not return, they were doomed to live trapped with the Stoneborn. Before they died, they passed their knowledge of all things onto their stoney friends.
Like many other infections, the Rot was only looking for more organic matter to assimilate. This infection came from an unknown source. Some thought it was from Othorsytae, others hypothesized that it came from a failed experiment by one of the gods. Regardless, the Stoneborn managed to eke out a resistance against their new assailants. The Troglos however, did not.
That is until, the rot came.
But back to those who were still down in the Undergarden. They had new people (if you can call them that) come up from the Praezhuran depths, but something else was going horribly wrong. With no sustainable mineral intake other than from precious regalium, the Troglos began to lose their exoskeletons. Fortunately at these elevations, the pressure was survivable for humans and anything else that didn’t need an exoskeleton. So these Troglos survived, but were different from their ancestors. Without a hard exterior, they could manage to survive.
Few went up, and fewer returned.
In the meantime, additional scouts were sent even further upward to find more fertile grounds for civilization. Sadly, they found nothing but Sculk.
They encountered another friendly species, the Stoneborn, in their dimension of the Undergarden. They settled down here and commenced trade with the friendly natives. Some sent scouts back down home to let everyone know they found a new home.
So it became a few very smart and intelligent bugs versus a buncha stupid bugs. Looking for a peaceful resolution to this conflict, they did the one thing they had done well this entire time; go up.
This would have been an ideal home for these pioneers, but they were also bugs as well. An advantage right? Wrong! They were new organisms in an unfamiliar environment. In order to settle down here, they had to fight with the natives for control over territory.
After going through the radioisotopic nightmare that is Nyzhanra or Nyzharia (depending on the translation that you use) they encountered the Erebus. A dimension filled to the brim with bugs.
Understandably, this was boring for them. They climbed up to the roof of that dimension in an exodus to travel to the edge of their elevation map. What they found above was even more homey.
The Troglos that ventured into the lowest depths of the Nether discovered a realm like a tamer version of their own home. It was once cold and watery, but lava leaked upward and mixed with the mineral rich water to create netherrack. Some more dense areas became the precursor to netherite.
Those that were sent off into the depths below the deep caves never returned.
Curious and exploratory, their species explored different dimensions of elevation. Going down yielded no results as you meet the habitable band that has regular pressure. These massive dark caves had absolutely nothing of interest in them, so the Troglos left it alone. They sent some brave scouts as deep as possible to find what was at the bottom of the world. They needed special equipment to keep the pressure they were accustomed to, in addition to nerves of steel. To them, going down was like going into space.
They started off in Praezhura (The realm just below the Nether) and fed off the many rich minerals at that depth. Because of the pressure at that depth under the lava and magma, they had extremely hard carapaces that could protect their delicate internal organs that were necessary for digesting said minerals.
The Troglos were the only sentient creatures that could build their own civilization and were not humanoid at all.
Oh I forgot to mention the Troglosprytes.
Okay, Teln’carah was freed from prison by the year 118 Seydt. The effort to break all four seals was primarily contributed to power hungry warlords (under Ferusal’s slight influence) to take advantage of this seemingly godlike vessel of Void. Other than that, nothing I haven’t already stated earlier.
While again, nothing specific happens here, the surrounding events are the best I can offer.
*travelling to this time with you*
Yeh I’m on the same page IVMP. It makes more sense, but it’s not the name I grew up with.
but black plasma studios is a cool name
I do think that squared media makes more sense
@Noah u sooo got get this published
Fair enough, Noah. Ok, how about Day 278, Year 90, from the 2nd Epoch. (I still don't know if that's right lol)
When I said ‘his works,’ I was referring to Tolkien.
Now, give me more dates plz.
Plus, it’s not usually the right time to bring that kinda stuff up here. Unlike on this group ofc.
Idk, my dad puts my dreams in a ‘realistic light.’ Ik that he’s trying to do what’s best for me.
Is the animations thing the thing you wanted to say that you haven't even told your family yet??
I don’t want to make a Silmarillion for my story. The way I write it all out won’t need to have a prequel like that. While I have taken inspiration from his ideas and worldbuilding with language, I want to differentiate myself from his works and forge my own path.
To me, they will always be BPS.
To me, changing the name of Black Plasma Studios to Squared Media felt like changing Twitter to X. It was an unnecessary rebrand brought on by a new leader in the company.
Also, please spit out more dates for me. I really enjoy it.
FINALLY YOU’RE BACK IVMP. Did you meant Seydt, or Iveydt?
I like that little segment of MC history
Oh, the songs of war! u mean the one bye Squared Media?
and also once you are done writing this book and send it to a publisher you should make a kind of Silmarillion for your story if you know what i mean
you totally should do that
Maybe I’ll work on that once I have written everything out.
Trouble is, I’ve zero animation related skills.
I always dreamed of making this into an animation series, like Songs of War.
Oh, and Ig you too JJason.
Dude you are a master. You definitely need to get this published.
About this world I’ve built, not anything personal.
But do you mind if I tell you something? I haven’t even told my own family because it’s such a crazy idea, but I feel comfortable sharing it with you.
Someday, maybe, I could get some of this published…
It took years of time and worldbuilding, along with countless hours walking and pacing back and forth outside in my backyard.
Man, you have such a universe built with this, and I love it!!
I can tell you the geopolitical state of the world on that date if you want tho.
This happened on an Aether sunset in the year 557, Fourth Epoch of Iveydt.
Eclipse was slain mercifully quickly about half a millennium later. It was a mercenary with a well timed storm shot. If they had fired about half a second later, they would have been deflected by Eclipse’ rythenblades. As a final demonstration of respect, those blades were planted in the ground next to what was left of her. Her last words to Thad, “I’ll be fine.”
Cults crafted these, but their statues outlasted them,
Ironically, the one in the Frost World wore down over time due to the harsh weather. The one in the Overzone was expertly built and never rotted away or disintegrated. The one in the Twilight Forest was overgrown with foliage, but remained generally intact.
Dleit’cahd, the Seraph, was known for visiting several different dimensions; possibly trying to follow the trail of TLX. Anyway, this angel was memorialized with a monolithic statue of her in a few different dimensions, including the Twilight Forest, the Overzone, and the Frost World. The one built in the Overworld was torn down in accordance with the rise of the ‘Free Seekers’ and ‘Age Repeatists’ who wanted to remove religious symbolism from the Capitals of the Overworld.
Nothing specific happened on that day, but I can tell you surrounding events if you want.
day 59, year 11 (idk if i did that right lol) from the 4th
As for IVMP, please specify if you meant the second Epoch.
Give me a specific date, and I will tell you only what happened on that day. Not any other surrounding events.
I’m just telling him what he wanted to know.
Maybe a few less details lol.
Think I should truncate it down a little?
Gtg now, hope this helps. If you wanted a different Epoch, I can help you out later. Goodbye.
By this time, the Sun Spirit had control of most of the weather of the Aether lands. Ogoborwetcha, the Slider, was fully built by the Valkyries to guard their valuables hidden in an underground vault.
Technological progress is slow, as gathering resources from either the surface or underground is difficult due to shifting tectonics, and warring factions that wouldn’t hesitate to skin you alive if you didn’t completely agree with them. (I would imagine they’d use the skin for a coat, especially if they live in regions near the poles)
Just know that this forge was destroyed for a very good reason. There are also many good reasons to rebuild it, however.
Anyways, you are probably wondering what in the name of Notch the Forge of Gods is. I won’t spoil it for you yet, but the effort to recover it was lead by Hyperfeather. (That’s not her real name, it was a nickname given by Thad. Or GigaThad as he wants to be called.)
