Good evening wielders of the Sword of the Spirit! While I was having my time with God I started thinking about when we study His Word/scripture, for those of you who know about gardening or just simply ever watered your indoor plants before, when the ground is so dry and hard when you pour a cup of water on it swiftly it just runs off to the sides, yes some moisture gets absorbed but most sets on the surface momentarily then runs off the edges. Now, if you woulda took that same cup and slowly but consistently trickled the water on the dirt, the dirt woulda took and the roots would have gotten their water, now the same I've noticed is our study time. You can vainly over cram the material finding yourself the next day...dry...take trickles of His Word and let it soak into your hearts, satisfy the thirst of your souls. it's the QUALITY not the quantity. Father we pray to you psalm 119:11 that you may hide your Word in our hearts, and that we may not sin against you, consistently water us, satisfy our thirst for righteousness!!! In Christ Jesus we remain ... Amen

Let us remember in prayer, times when our hearts grow weary, or when the world tries to tell us otherwise... let us remember what the angel Gabriel answered Mary with confidence, Luke 1:37- For no word from God will ever fail (NIV) or (ESV) puts it, "for nothing will be impossible with God" this is coming from the angel that says back in verse 19 "...I stand in the presence of God" This angel brings messages on Gods behalf take it from him, no word of Gods will ever fail!!! Trust God, believe in His promises

Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Our enemy hates this weapon. He was repelled by the Word of God as he tempted Jesus in the wilderness Matthew 4:1-11.
God’s Word is the true story of how God loves us at a great cost to him. Can you see why it’s so important to spend time in God’s Word and make it part of our daily lives?
Hey happy Saturday brothers, always know the Word of God is our only offensive weapon, it is our Excalibur against Satan and his schemes, we can't sit back and let the evil one keep slamming against our Holy Armor, we gotta take it to him. We gotta be the husbands God wants us to be, leaders wielders of His truth!!! Saturate your hearts with His Word not this world!!! Fight on brothers!!!

I just wanted ask to keep my friend/boss at work in your prayers, he doesn't believe but his curiosity is getting the best of him and he's been asking about our Hope... just pray that the Holy Spirit works in his heart and use me or Trent any way that the Lord pleases
