Some of my review verses this morning: Romans 10:12-14 KJV - "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
🌺 Happy Sabbath, everyone! 🙏❤
I am especially thankful this Thanksgiving for our good health, a loving church family, the blessings we take for granted such as plenty to eat, my sweet cat Pepper (14 now!), and God the Father Who loves us so much that He gave us Jesus to die for our sins so that we will not have to. And I love and appreciate all of the beautiful creation that God gave us to enjoy. Be blessed everyone! God loves you.
Verses from my review that put trials in perspective: Psalm 119:71, 75-76 KJV - "It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn Thy statutes. I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are right, and that Thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Let, I pray Thee, Thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Thy word unto Thy servant."

Memorizing the word of God is a tremendous blessing when we take it seriously! Here are some of my review verses this morning which include a few of my thoughts: Proverbs 28:2, 4-5 KJV - "For the transgression of a land [the US] many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge [Trump] the state thereof shall be prolonged [God is holding back the winds of strife until His Saints are sealed]. They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things."
Hi everyone! How are you doing with your memorizing? Are you continuing to instill the word of God in your minds? 😲🙏
🌺 Happy Sabbath everyone! 🙏😄🍂🍃
Some of my favorite verses: Proverbs 30:24-28 KJV - "There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces."
Our worship time was so special. Besides the subject matter in the SS lesson and sermon, the man that tells the children's story had some friends bring their pet opossum for his Creature Feature. It was so fun to see that beautiful little animal! We always eagerly anticipate what interesting topic he will share. He has brought a small raccoon, a baby owl, and a pine (gopher) snake recently. What a blessing his presentations have been. And he knows all the Latin names!
My husband and I have duties at church today. I will be leading both song services and he will be doing Superintendent remarks. It is becoming cool and foggy here in the Northwest. I do not think that the roads will be icy yet, but the days are coming. We have a 40 minute drive to church. Happy Sabbath!
Another recent memory verse: Psalm 20:6-9 KJV - "Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will hear him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the King hear us when we call."
Also: Colossians 3:8-13 KJV - "But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."
I had the delight of receiving counsel again through a few of my favorite memory verses this morning: Psalm 118:4-8 KJV - "Let them now that fear the LORD say, that His mercy endureth forever. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

Jenny, thanks for the info about Taj Pacleb. His name sounds vaguely familiar. I will look him up.
i think it would be an amazing study of Job where God answers Job and talks about so many things in nature!! who ever could bored with the Bible there is just so much in it, imagine heaven and the thngs we will learn throughout eternity 😌
Taj Pacleb is a wonderful presenter of nature and what we learn from it. He’s worth watching.
After all nature is God’s second book. God is so good to us!
Thanks for reminding me about that, I have seen it many years ago and thought it was wonderful how God’s creatures can teach us. Gods word does actually say to study nature…Job 12:7-8 (KJV) But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: [8] Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
Why do beavers rest EVERY Sabbath? video on YouTube. A strange silence is observed over the Sabbath (Saturday). A hush falls over all their activities at sundown every Friday evening without fail. And this is regarding every beaver around the world, regardless of the season. Sunday mornings, they begin their work again. https://youtu.be/uZ-Sz7fLyf0?si=NeLvyc8eRwzBo8W9
I understand what you are saying. Saving everything till Friday just does not work! And we have to help our families understand that Preparation Day is important and comes every week like clockwork. I have not always gotten the help I need to prepare meals and finish up chores, but my family is getting better about helping me.
Preparation day involves making sure everything is prepared in the way of kids bulletin and primary Sabbath school. Also, cleaning anything that hasn't been able to be done during the week. I try to get more cleaning done before prep day so I'm not so loaded with to many things to do.
Hi Marilyn, I definitely am using the verses, but I'm sorry I don't get to do messaging very often. life gets busy.
I have several things to do on this Preparation Day: dishes and cooking, some yard work, and last minute bits and pieces. What kind of things do you have to do to prepare for the Sabbath of the Lord?
Hi Jenny. Are you still interested in this group? I do not see much activity. 😲
It is wonderful to have you on board Liti! may God bless you as you learn more of our faithful God.

Good Morning Jenny, I’m sorry I missed this message. I see it was posted over 5 months ago. It sounds like you’ve been in a valley. Just wondering how you’re doing now? Praying all is well. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
