Would you please pray for the Dolce/Glaze family? My 1st husband and of 26 years and father of my 9 children went to be with the LORD in 2013. My adult children have been upset that I remarried someone who was a friend of their Dad our family. Recently they've spoken lies about us to Children's Services in order to get custody of the 3 remaining minor children. My youngest was 2 years old when I married this man and thinks of him as his dad. The 3 youngest were taken and placed in foster care while 2 adult siblings try to get custody. This is a very sad and stressful situation. Thank you for your prayers.
Sincerely,
Mary Glaze

could you guys join group JesuSaves and dogs for Jesus? Group JesuSaves is known for Bible trivias. So if you like those you should join! It is a group for God. And both groups are clean of bad words. Group Dogs for Jesus is known for bravery and kindness. The group has been deleted by someone mean, but it just made another one. My brother was so sad because that was his group, and it had about 2,000 group verses current. So if you could join Dogs for Jesus we could make the group great again. If you say "Hi, I joined." then I will almost guarantee you will be welcomed. So If you are looking for a kind, welcoming, active group please join either one. PWEEZE😇 I want to make my brother happy.

Check out the Mandela-Effect-Wiki for more Information! http://mandela-effect-wiki.tk

@Kaylee04 Just click on Verse Collection that you want to memorize and there is a select dropdown that gives you the option of whatever version you want to memorize.
I use NKJV, how can I add it
@ Rachel Perry Tell the experts about the problem
@Sara Kroneck Hey! thanks so much for the instructions
Hi Kaylee, there should be a little button that says "Join" near where it says "Acts: The Revolution" and the picture. If you click on that button, it will add you to our group. Welcome to the group!
I would like to join your group, so how can I join your group
Hi i am memorizing Acts because i do Bible quizzing. If you do not know what it is ask me :-)
Hi everyone! I am planning (Lord willing) on writing about book about memorizing Scripture. I would like to include some of your tips and testimonies to encourage my readers. I have a forum here that you can answer some of my questions, in the hopes of benefiting my future readers. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1PWlE8XDune0oge-V4lary_7DOGOeld66s28Ck7eOroE/viewform?usp=send_form Thank you so much for taking the time to be a blessing and an encouragement to those who desire to pursue the knowledge of the Lord through the habit of memorization.
Hey there ;) I'm new and I need friends. Please pray for me.
@Josiah, Thanks for letting me know :) Glad they are back now.
Sara: Yesterday I was planning on doing the same and reviewing the first few chapters but ran into the same problem. So I asked Sean about it and he added those chapter collections back. It should be all set now.
Does anyone know why the collections for Acts 3, 4, and 5 not in the TVS version are missing??? I would like to re-add them in NKJV, but they are not there to add.
Morning fellow memorisers. Like you all I want to memorise this book and retain it. In my hunt for the best way to approach this I came across this book written nearly 100 years ago by a man who actually memorised the whole Bible...it is very comprehensive, though not long, and I am sure you will all gain someting from it. You can view it free here http://memorizethebible.com/ Press onward toward the goal. :)
Hi Stormer! So glad you joined us! :)
Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!!! I am stormer. I am new around here.
Yes this is actually a bug fix; it wasn't intended that the system would give checkmarks in Memorize It mode. You must Master verses initially, but then you can use Memorize It mode for review if you prefer.
@Brett, thank you. I'm assuming that is a new change now that a verse must be typed in master it for it to be counted as memorized or up-to-date? I thought before you could type a verse in memorize it and it would be counted as memorized or up-to-date.
I just updated the website with a bug fix. There was a problem with the message displayed after successfully completing a verse in "Memorize It" mode. New verses must be typed successfully in "Master It" mode before they will be checked off and added to the review cycle. Everything should be working properly now. So sorry for the trouble.
@ Sean, thanks for looking into it. I didn't know you could make verses be marked as memorized in master mode. I tried that way back when I first got on ST, but I don't remember it working for me... or do you mean to be marked as current?
have another friend with the same problem... didn't work for her even in Master mode. and she tried multiple computers. But when I signed in to her account on mine, it worked. working on this... :)
Okay, so I did two sections of Acts 14 with the "Memorize it" mode, and I selected it the new way with NKJV. The page says "looks like you've got this one memorized" when I finish, but my verses memorized don't change and the new ones don't show up in my "review section". What is wrong?
Has anyone on here recently added me as a friend? I got a friendship request yesterday, but there was no name; it just said " has requested to be your friend on Scripture Typer". I have no idea who that is or if I should accept or decline. :)
I love the update!!!!!! :) And I especially like the fact that the "section titles" are gone from the verses when I do it this way, so I won't have to go in and delete them manually!!! Thank you!!!
FYI there's a new translation selector on the flyout where you select your collections. You can also now type sequential verses as one long passage for review. Just click on any collection with sequential verses and look for the "Review All Verses Combined Together" link at the bottom of the pop-up. Please note, the link only appears after you've memorized the first two sequential verses in a collection. Happy Memorizing!
@ Seán, thanks for the offer! I don't think I need to do that right now, but if I do, I'll let you know :) Also, thank you for having the "dramatized" Acts available to download from your blog! It really helps to listen to the dramatized audio, even if it is in a slightly different version. :)
Hi Sarah, I remember how to convert easily to your preferred version. On the website, near the top choose the 'scripture memory' button to the right of the 'home' button, a menu will drop down. Click on 'preferences' on the bottom left. The second item is 'prefered translation'. Choose yours from the list provided. Next tick the box underneath which says 'Auto-Convert my verses to this translation'. Go to the bottom left and 'save preferences'. Now whenever you choose a collection on the site it will be converted to your favourite version. Happy memorising.
@Sara, Just have to delete the subtitles manually... That's what I'm doing for James. About the verse arrangements, I mean that if you are memorizing certain chapters of Acts for Bible Bowl for instance, and you have the verses broken up into chunks of different sizes/arrangement than we have here, I'd be happy to get your chapter added to the Acts group so others working on the same can memorize together, and still be part of the group.
@Kerrilyn Thanks for the suggestion. I did that and selected NKJV and also the auto-convert option. The weird thing is that it didn't change the chapters I already have selected from here but when I selected another chapter that I didn't have before, it was automatically changed from KJV to NKJV. So I guess I'll maybe just delete all the chapters I haven't memorized and then re-select them from here and that should do the trick. I wonder if that is the system update Seán was talking about or if that feature has been there all along. But the only bad thing was that when it converted to NKJV it put all the section titles in there, too...i.e. "Ananias Baptizes Saul" before that passage and so on. I really don't want to have to memorize where those are in the chapters. :-/ Hmmmm. Got any ideas?

Thank you Kerrilyn and Seán! Unfortunately I don't have an iDevice, so can't do it that way. Looking forward very much to the system update!! It sounds much faster, too than editing each verse with the app. :)
@ Seán, what do you mean by "other verse arrangements in your collection you would like recognized here"?
There is a much easier way to convert on the way... A whole collection at a time. Supposed to go live this week. You'll be able to add any collection, and simply select which translation you would like it converted to, right at the start. Having said that, if you have other verse arrangements in your collection you would like recognized here, you're talking to the right person. :)

Yes you can do it in NKJV. I know James has. He will be back on ST on Monday if nobody has come to your rescue before then. I know how to do it on the app verse by verse group using the edit button under the tick on the left hand side when you chose a chapter collection in my verses but I am wondering if there is a quicker way.
The other thing is if there is going to be a group of you coming here wanting to learn it in the NKJV it might be worth finding out who the admins are so that you can add your editted chapter collections to the group with the NKJV tag on them. Or maybe we should get James to do it since he has already editted the first 15 or so chapters to NKJV. Happy memorising :)
Hello everyone,
Does anyone know if I would be able to add some chapters to the collections in NKJV? Probably in the two verse format. Pathfinder Bible Bowl is on Acts and Thessalonians this year, which makes me very thankful for the chapters I did memorize but wish that I had stuck with it all the way so that I would have known more! But since the version used is NKJV, I would rather memorize certain parts in that version than the KJV. Let me know if that is something that I can do. Thank you!
I think at least a quarter of us are, maybe more. I don't know about the rest.
Are you all Seventh Day Adventist?
Hi this Michaela! How was your day going on? Christella?
The Android development tools have been difficult to work with. It's still probably at least 12 months out.
Will the offline mode be part of the Android app you're working on? Any idea when that'll be available? Keen as for that!
The iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch app is the only offline capable version of Scripture Typer that we have at this point. I do have long term plans to create a PC/Mac version. Thanks Lesa for letting me know you're interested in it.
Is it possible that there could be made available an offline version of ScripureTyper for computers too? I don't know if that question could be answered here, but I thought I'd ask!
Hmm, thanks. That makes more sense that he was actually talking about Joshua, rather than Jesus.
Yes, I did notice how abrupt he was in verse 61. I know I've read AA, but I'd forgotten that insight into the story.
You're right, it would've been fascinating to hear his whole sermon. Maybe one day? I wonder if he'd remember it, if we remember to ask?
Oh, I see what you mean now. Hmm, yes, interesting question. I just now looked up the verse in several other translations, and here is what I found: "And our fathers brought the same tabernacle and carried it with Joshua to the land that God had given them as an inheritance from the nations which he had driven out from before them, and it was carried until the days of David..." (That was taken from the Aramaic Bible in Plain English, 2010, but most other versions also echoed the same general idea.) First of all, Jesus and Joshua were translated from one Hebrew word - Yeshua. That's why some Bibles say Jesus, and others Joshua. Then the phrase "possession of the Gentiles" apparently means that it was just carried into the land of the Gentiles, (whom God drove out of the land), rather than the Gentiles actually possessing the tabernacle. Does that make sense?
As for what maddened the Jews, I love the extra insight that Ellen White provides into this story. Have you noticed how abrupt Stephen sounds in that verse, "You stiff-necked..."? He had just been telling the history of the Jewish nation, and building up to his point about the temple, and all of a sudden he changes course and starts rebuking the audience. EGW says that this change was because Stephen saw that his audience was so upset by his words that they weren't listening anymore. So he stopped in the middle of his sermon and rebuked them. Then his rebuke infuriated them even more, and so on. That makes me wonder...what would the rest of his sermon have been like, and what would he have said had he been allowed to finish??? I so wish I could have heard it!
Thanks, Rachel, though I think what would've really maddened the Jews was when he said that they were stiffnecked and always resisted the Holy Ghost, and didn't keep the law. I mean, they prided themselves on law-keeping.
Maybe my question was more, when did Jesus and the Jewish fathers take "the tabernacle of witness" into the possession of the Gentiles?
Hi Christella,
It seems to me that Stephen was referring in vs. 44 to the sanctuary that the Israelites had in the wilderness, that being the first earthly "temple" where God "dwelt" among His people. Then Stephen goes on to list other temples that were built for God throughout Jewish/Israelite history. Finally, he builds up to his main point - God doesn't need a temple in order for His presence to be among us, therefore without His presence, the temple is meaningless. I would say that he was probably intimating that God's presence was absent from the Jewish synagogue where he was preaching, and that's why the Jews got so angry.
