Pray the Scriptures

Pray the Scriptures

Don't know what to pray? When you can't find the words to pray, try praying The Word instead. Praying God's Word back to Him is incredibly powerful and effective. While memorizing Scripture is essential, praying our memory verses makes Scripture come even more alive.

You can use any Scripture to talk to God, but the Prayers of the Apostles are a great place to start. For example, Paul prays "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him," in Ephesians 1:17 ESV. We can take Paul's prayer and ask for wisdom and revelation in any situation, for ourselves, or for others.

Praying God's Word makes prayer so much easier--and more fun, too. Try it! Turn your memory verses into prayers, and watch your Scripture memory and your prayer life grow!

Feel the Heat

Ever get tired of missing the same word every time you review a verse? Scripture Typer is here to help! Meet Heat Maps--the red highlighted areas of a verse in Type It, Memorize It, and Master It modes on the Scripture Typer PRO App for iPhone, Android, and Kindle Fire.

Whenever you miss a word, Scripture Typer will automatically highlight it red the next time you review the verse, until you've gotten it correct three times in a row. Now, that's smart! You can enable and disable Heat Maps under Settings -> Preferences. Upgrade to Scripture Typer PRO (in-app purchase required) to start using Heat Maps today!
