Check Out ScriptureTyper.com's New Review Features

Review smarter with ScriptureTyper.com's NEW review features! ScriptureTyper.com's Review page is now as flexible as the Scripture Typer App. This much-anticipated update gives you the ability to do all of the following, directly from ScriptureTyper.com:

 

1. Set a Maximum Review Frequency for ALL of your verses with a single click of a button, so review verses won't advance beyond that point in the review cycle. Simply go to the Review page, and look for "Max Review Frequency" under the big "Start the Review" button at the top of the page. Make your maximum review frequency selection from the drop-down menu. You can choose anywhere from Daily to Annually with lots of options in between. (Annually is the default. Click on "Annually" to find the drop-down menu.)

 

2. Set a Review Frequency for Individual Verses. Go to the Review page, and click on a verse's review frequency by the verse reference. From there, you can select a review frequency for that verse from the drop-down menu. (You can also do this from the typing screen.) The verse will continue to advance in review frequency from that point, up to the Maximum Review Frequency selected above. Unless you...

 

3. Lock in a Review Frequency for Individual Verses. You can lock the review frequency for an individual verse so it will not advance by checking the box in the Review Frequency pop-up (see no. 2 above), "Lock in this frequency so it won't advance?" This works great if there's a verse you want to review every month, etc.

 

4. Change the Review Frequency for Individual Verses quickly. We have made improvements to the system so you can change the review frequencies for many verses from the Review page very quickly now.

 

5. Review sequential verses smarter. When reviewing sequential verses, each verse is graded individually, so your review work is saved if you get interrupted. And if you get a verse wrong, you can use the left arrow button to go back and try the verse again.

 

6. If you have Type Reference turned on, you will now type the reference at the end of the verse. This will make your brain recall it and memorize it better.

Tips & Tricks

Customize Your Review Schedule with Scripture Typer PRO

Want to customize your review schedule for a verse? It's easy with the Scripture Typer PRO App for iPhone, iPad, Android, & Kindle Fire. Go to My Verses -> select the menu button next to any verse (or any verse within a collection) -> select Review Frequency or Lock Review Advancement.

 

From Review Frequency, you can choose how frequently you would like to review a verse, from Daily to Annually. As you successfully review that verse, the review frequency will automatically get pushed out in your review schedule, up to the Max Review Time you have set. (Go to Settings -> Preferences -> Max Review Time to select the longest amount of time you want to go between reviewing any verse.)

 

From Lock Review Advancement, you can lock the review frequency for any verse individually so it does not progress further out in your review cycle, regardless of your Max Review Time. For example, perhaps your Max Review Time is Annually, but there are certain verses you would like to review every month--then this feature is for you!
