How to Memorize Scripture with Toddlers

You are never too young to start memorizing Scripture! It's amazing how quickly little ones can memorize a verse, and they will carry it with them forever. Here are some tips to begin a lifelong love of memorizing Scripture with your little ones.

1. Create a separate Scripture Typer account to track your toddler's memorization (see details below). Next, import some verses you would like to memorize with your little one.

2. Read Scripture memory verses to them. This makes a great bedtime tradition. Sweet dreams!

3. Record verses using the audio feature on the Scripture Typer PRO App for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Kindle. Then play them on a loop during playtime or when you're in the car.

4. Draw pictures with your child. Does your child love to draw? Once your toddler has memorized a verse, let them draw a picture to represent the verse as a reward using the Drawing feature. Drawing is available with the Scripture Typer PRO App for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Kindle.

5. Help your child record their own memory verses. Toddlers are fascinated by the audio feature on the Scripture Typer PRO App and love to hear their own voice speaking back to them. Once your child has memorized a verse, let them record it as a reward. They'll love it! And you will enjoy having a recording of their sweet voice quoting Scripture for years to come.

It only takes a few moments a day to instill a love of Scripture that will last a lifetime. Plant these seeds now, and you will be glad you did later! "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it," Proverbs 22:6 ESV.

How to Create Scripture Typer Accounts to Memorize with Your Toddlers

Scripture Typer loves children, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to memorize God's Word with yours. You can start by creating a FREE Scripture Typer account for each of your children on ScriptureTyper.com. Or, if you have the Scripture Typer PRO App for iPhone, iPad, Android, or Kindle Fire, go to Settings -> Pro Accounts -> Create a New Account*.

You can easily switch between accounts on the Scripture Typer App, even from the same mobile device. Just go to Settings -> Change Accounts.

If you have the Scripture Typer PRO App for iPhone, iPad, Android, or Kindle Fire, you can even choose up to four family members' accounts to upgrade to PRO, at no additional charge! To select which accounts you would like to upgrade to PRO, go to Settings -> Pro Accounts. Now it's time to create accounts and pick some verses to memorize with your little ones! Happy memorizing!

*Note: Must be at least 13 years of age to create a Scripture Typer account. Children under 13 may use a parent's account with adult supervision. Each Scripture Typer account requires a separate email address. If your kids are under 13 years of age or do not have an email address, you can create a new email address for yourself and use it to create a new Scripture Typer account for the dedicated purpose of your child's Bible memory.
