Memorize the WHOLE Bible

Memorizing individual verses is great! But have you ever considered memorizing entire chapters, books, or even the whole Bible? Memorizing extended passages is incredibly rewarding. Here are just a few reasons why:

 

1. Context. Memorizing an extended passage of Scripture helps you better understand the intent & meaning of it.

 

2. Recall & Association. Anyone ever ask you, "Where's the verse that says such-and-such?" Memorizing an entire passage helps cement individual verses in your memory. You will become far more familiar with the layout of the Bible and where certain themes are addressed.

 

3. Transformation. Most importantly, when you memorize extended passages, the Bible truly becomes apart of you. You begin to change from within, draw closer to God, and look more like Jesus.

Challenge Yourself

Increase your Target Accuracy percentage! The Scripture Typer default is 90% accuracy to mark a verse memorized or reviewed, but you can increase your personal Target Accuracy under Settings -> Preferences on the Scripture Typer App for iPhone, Android, & Kindle Fire to further challenge yourself to know God's Word.
