Pray the Scriptures

Don't know what to pray? Or you finish praying, and only 60 seconds have passed? When you can't find the words to pray, try praying The Word instead. Praying God's Word back to Him is incredibly powerful and effective. Memorizing the Bible is essential, but when we pray what we are memorizing, our walk with God comes alive.

 

You can use any Scripture to talk to God, but the Prayers of the Apostles are a great place to start. For example, Paul prays "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him," in Ephesians 1:17 ESV. We can take Paul's prayer and ask for wisdom and revelation in any situation, for ourselves, or for others.

 

Praying God's Word makes prayer so much easier--and more fun, too. Try it! Turn your memory verses into prayers, and watch your prayer life grow!

Choose Your Favorite Font Size

Did you know you can change the font size for verses on the Scripture Typer app? From the main screen, just go to Settings -> Preferences, and select your favorite Verse Font Size at the top of the screen under Typing Options. We have a host of options to select from, as well as other settings you can adjust on that screen. Have fun!
