I honestly think its healthier to eat meat. Its very good for bones, blood, muscles, sinew...etc. And you guys r visa versa. Lol!! We actually do eat a nice lot of veggie's. My sis and I love Salad. XD
Yes meat can contain parasites. But first of all they are usually not there. And secondly if you cook the meat properly if by any chance there is parasites they will almost always die. But its a slim percentage, at least in U.S.A. You have a Much higher risk of getting parasites by walking around bare foot outside, and being w/ animals then by eating meat.

Thanks for answering that BM!! Veggie's are good to keep ppl lean, and it is good for you. But no, meat is not necessarily bad. Like pig fat increases your chance of heart attack. And other stuff I think. But eaten in moderation is fine. So not morally wrong to eat meat. What I mean is I don't believe
1 meat can have worms and things in it which can grow in your body because it’s not like animals wash their hands, now I don’t mean earthworms and things but microscopic worms that sometimes survive being cooked 2when Noah was going into the ark 7 animals of each clean species came and 2 of each unclean species, and God to,d nosh that the ones in pairs of two were not to be eaten 1#i don’t really get, give us meat and say it is good for meat(why would god give us a bone and say it is good for a bone) 2#um... the question down there of “ how do you know meat is physically bad for you?” I am going to answer. meat isn’t really bad for you. it won’t kill you. but there are other things that are BETTER for you. that’s why we are vegetarians.
2# If you believe that we must follow that law what about those other laws? Circumscision and the purifying laws. Aren't you yourselves Gentiles.? Do you have Jewish blood? See what I mean?

They did not understand the pictures. And neither really did the disciples till Christ told them.
Its not like: Oh, Jesus died for us!!! Now we can eat unclean meat!!! Now all could come to the Father through the Son. The Pharisees Jesus called " White washed tomb, which inside is filled w/ dead men's bones. " He explained that, they follow the outward things!!! But they do not see the spiritual things.
Jews were Gods chosen people. And some Gentiles did come to God. But they were all cut off. What I mean is, they did not have the privilege which came w/ Gods people.
And BM, I think your putting it in the wrong light.
Those pictures were to help us. The Gentiles like I said b4 were cut off. The Messiah came the one who would pay for our sins. God said that now all could come to him. Both Jews and Gentiles, see what I mean? The pictures were not needed anymore.

here’s what I said before. unclean meat is PHYSICALLY bad for you. God didn’t make that law as a restriction, He made it to keep us healthy. Fo you really think that unclean meat is now good for you because Jesus died on the cross? and I already told you that because Loma linda has so many vegetarians it’s life expectancy is muck longer than other cities. so not having meat is a better lifestyle. it’s been proven!
so yeah I really don’t have a problem with mean unless it is unclean but I just would rather not eat it.
yes yes, I am not condemning poeple who eat meat, I mean Jesus himself was eating meat sometimes. but I would rather not eat meat because I don’t like the though of an animal being killed, especially because just lately my dog died and that made me really sad for animals that die

We are told to take care of our bodies, and that it is a sin to neglect it. So...if meat is very unhealthy for your body, but Jesus ate it...then, it doesn't make sense!+!

He fed the five thousand, and then the two thousand!!! If he wanted to, he could have eaten vegetables, just like that. He made them and they are his.
He was God and man, in one person. He told Peter to catch a fish and open its mouth, and he would find money in it to pay the taxes.

Look, if you believe that God still commands us to eat only " clean " meat but not " unclean " Then shouldn't you keep the other laws? Shouldn't baby boys be circumcised on the 8th day?! And ALL the other laws??
The meat is no longer unclean. God said: " What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common " God cleansed. It is a picture. A metaphor! Holy, unholy, but now there is no need of that. Christians. Both Jews and Gentiles, being able to come together, through Christ.
first of all. there’s nothing mentally wrong with eating unclean meat, but there is something physically wrong. eating pig is very unhealthy. and eating meat won’t kill you, it’s just a healthier lifestyle. the city of Loma Linda has a higher life expectancy because it has a lot of vegetarians. look it up! Eating meat is actually good for you, b/c it has lots of good protein and stuff Idk. But good for your muscles and strengthening.

The Israelites, were given no commands to refrain from eating meat.
Remember how Abraham set meat before his guests in Genesis 18:8? And the Israelites, complained that they had no meat, but wanted the leeks and onions of Egypt, God gave them meat, but punished them, by giving them to much quail, they were sick and tired of it. Exodus

Daniel was committed to purity. He had purposed not to defile himself w/ the kings meat or wine. The kings meat had been sacrificed first to the kings god's. The overseers of a church not drinking wine, was a Nazarite vow. He was not to be given over to wine.
