“This is not a mystical guidance that depends on the shape of clouds or the meaning of dreams, but instead a guidance based on the Word of God as the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers helps us understand and apply His truth to our lives.”
Every child of God receives the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. This is not something we have to go back and get later, or only receive after some additional spiritual experience. It is immediate.

welcome to the group, Jake!
that is a great challenge!
welcome Jake to our group!
ok. keep working on getting one more to participate with us. Here is the challenge! Prayerfully you read a Proverb a day. If not this is a great month to start. The challenge is from your reading of the Proverbs, memorize one New verse from the Proverb of the day every day this month. if you would like, I can add mine to our group list and we can memorize together!
one more to the challenge. who will it be!
I’ll try the challenge! by the way, congratulations on getting to 100,000 points Randall!
that’s two. talk to others. let’s get two more as I am in!
anyone in for a group challenge? if I get 5 yes responses I will post the challenge!
Hey everyone! I noticed that we are not communicating a lot on this forum. That’s ok. I just wanted to express how thankful I am for this app! Off and on through out my life I have attempted to memorize Gods Word, but I would find myself starting and stopping and loosing my progress. As you many of you have experienced this app has solved that problem. It is a blessing to see and or hear from each one of you whether a little or a lot. Some time over the next 24 hours I should hit 100,000 points and I just want to celebrate by saying “Praise God” and I’m more excited than ever to “hide Gods word in my heart that I might not sin against him”. God bless each of you and I love you in Christ! 🤗
good to see you here John!
I want to thank the gentlemen involved with directing me to this app. it is a blessing.
Happy Birthday Diane Cronin!
my average went down 2 points to 403...ughh...😲
I'm down to 116. But added 2 new collections to begin memorizing! :)
I increased this week by 3 to 297. how did you guys do?
I have only 81 mastered.😐
no one get discouraged this app is helping us memorize Gods word and this group is providing motivation and friendly competition.😁
Wow, nice job FarmPrincess!! I have 84 right now. 😊
I always thought it was really helpful, I was surprised how many I was getting wrong at first! ;)
How many verses does everyone have? I have 164.
You go to Scripturetyper.com and log in with the same info. On your home page there should be an option to test you on the references.
I have not tried that either, that's so cool that you can access the app on a desktop!🤠
I never tried accessing the app on a desktop ~I didn't even know you can do that!
Thanks, Mercy 😊 ~I love this app also and it is really helping me to memorize verses. Definitely a blessing, and I'm glad it was shared with me ❤️
Has anyone tried the verse reference test on the desktop version?
I love this app, it sure does help you memorize verses.💭😃
mrs. Diane Cronin good job on the group verses!🙌🏻👏🏻👊🏻👍🏻🤜🏻✋🏻
I think my average is 111.5 if I am figuring it out correctly. I don't have the paid version of the app, so I can't access all the features.
Sunday 1 pm each week will be our weekly check. try to increase your daily average every week
117... I have a lot of catch up to do!
my daily average is 405, I'm so thankful for this app. it is encouraging to me to see you guys on here.
my daily average is currently 294
what is everyone’s daily average. total points divided by total days on the app. let’s try to increase daily average each week!
congratulations Mike! on reaching 100 days and breaking 1000 in the verse ranking! 🏆
praise the Lord! what does that mean??🤜🏻👍🏻👊🏻✋🏻
100 days what a blessing!
Mike, I noticed your new name. what's the story behind it!
I like that you shared a verse that spoke to you. 🤗
Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 This verse spoke to me in Sunday School.😁
Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Ephesians 5:26 (KJV) 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, could we add this one?
I didn't add any except the favorite/life verses a couple of weeks ago. I can show you my list at church to compare if that will help.
if anyone has added a verse that Mike didn't add let him know which one it is. some of you have 19 verses and he and I only have 17. thanks
1 Thessalonians 5:18 is mine as well
psalm 136 is my favorite for thanksgiving. I love when the entire congregation reads it out loud together. check it out.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 and Psalm 150:6 ❤️
what is you favorite giving of thanks verse?
that’s it. let’s figure out versus and I will add them
I think Diane and I may have figured out why there is a discrepancy in the group verse. it could be that if Mike as the moderator of the group doesn't add the verses then they don't show up in everyone account. if we add them individually they don't show up in others accounts. let me know what you think.
I am sure that you will catch up quickly, Mr. King! My life verse is Psalm 13:6, "I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me."
that was Mikes idea but I think it's a good one! thanks Diane
I like Randall's idea of memorizing each other's favorite/life verses, so I added the ones that were shared to our verse collection 😊
Welcome Nichole and Mr. Armbruster.😃
Thank you Randall and Mike! my life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.
welcome Nicole and Steven!
welcome Steven Armbrewster! Glad to have you! what are you and Nicole's life verses?
it's so neat to have you join Nicole. I was pleasantly surprised to see your name ahead of mine in the ranking. I love this app and the accountability
Neat to see the church start a group like this! I've had my account here for 2-3 yrs, but dropped all but ~25 verses this semester due to my courseload. The accountability will be nice! :)
congratulations Mike on your 300th verse!
great verses. truly a blessing to my heart!
both dad and daughter shared verses #13 and 14 (even though they were from different books of the Bible) ~I thought that was neat. Great verses, as well. May we all continue on in the Lord, with his strength and help. Not looking back, or around, but with our eyes always on Him ❤️
I am not very good with references, but when I read Luke 15:20 it was a blessing - that story has been an encouragement to me from the perspective of the father who is waiting with open arms, as well as from the perspective of the child that returns to his arms ❤️ ~thank you for sharing it with us
those are some great verses Farm Princess ✝️
I read both of your life verses. very encouraging. it helps me know you better.
Psalm 27:13 (KJV) 13 [I had fainted], unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Psalm 27:14 (KJV) 14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

how do you have more group verses than me?
don't you think it's a little late farm princess 🙃
1 Peter 3:13 (KJV) And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?🙂
Mr. King and Mr. Peterson are going to be hard to beat! 😉

thanks Mike for adding the new verses. I Love them!
1 Thessalonians 4:18 (KJV) 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
I'm still trying to figure out how to work this app. I have 4 verses - how do I get more? Am I supposed to somehow add them myself?
this is the day that Lord hath made. let us rejoice and be glad in it!
