I am adding a simple but profound verse from Romans 8. Thank you joy for suggesting Romans 8! As a strategy, I am focusing this group on a verse or two at a time. I do highly commend the memorization of whole chapters and longer sections. But I think for encouragement purposes, I will likely post a verse or two at a time. 😊. Please continue to share ideas for verses! Kayli, I will plan to post a verse from Luke 6 soon!

Hi all, This week I am adding James 1:21. May we receive God’s Word “implanted” so that God would use it to grow us in Christlikeness. Thank you Kayli for suggesting this verse!
Hi, Ritch. Whoops! I didn’t realize I didn’t put the chapter... it’s Luke 6:27-31... I’d actually like to do all the way through 36 but I thought it’d be too much to ask. Maybe I could do that on my own. or I’ll take suggestions if you all want to work on that one with me. 6:27-36. we could do it in sections, maybe?

Hi Kayli, Yes!! please make requests! I plan to add one or two each week so as to not make this overwhelming. Please re-type your Luke verse as I think there is a number missing. 😊
My requests are... James 1:21 & Luke 27-31
Are any of us allowed to add verses? or do we need to request them with you, Ritch?

Hi all, I added two verses this week. They are short and powerful encouragements when we feel depleted. Our Lord is faithful!!

Hi all. Keep persevering in your meditation on God’s Word. The Lord will speak to you personally and powerfully as you seek Him through it. I added James 1:12 today to our list. This verses encourages two needs for our soul: 1. perseverance under hardship. 2. hope in our certain future joy. Praying for you all!

Debbie, I think the problem is that there are 9 sets of verses. Two of the “sets” have two verses included (Hebrews 12:1-2 and Proverbs 3:5-6). Do you think this answers your question or is there another problem?

Three questions to have the counselee\disciple ask as they meditate upon scripture: 1. How can I align my mind to understand God’s truth? 2. How can I align my heart to trust God’s provision in Christ? 3. How can I align my will to submit to God’s commands?
