When Trying Of The Faith Worketh Patience
James 1:2-6
2. My brethern, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4. But let patience have her perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given him.
6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a waver of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Christ Has Begotten US Again
1 Peter 1:3-5
3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
4. To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.
5. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time
Be Of Good Courage
Psalm 27:11-12
11. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
12. Wait on the Lord be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Your Hearts And Minds In Jesus Christ
Philippians 4:4-7
4. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6. Be careful for nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.
7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus
Jesus Heals A Man With The Palsy
Matthew 9:2-7
2. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
3. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5. For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6. But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7. But when the multitude saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
We Should Love Everyone
Matthew 5:38-45
38. Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39. But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
41. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43.Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
44. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Putting On The Word Of Faith
Colossians 3:13-17
13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Example That Christ Is The True Son Of GodJohn 11:38-44
38. Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41. Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42. And I knew that thou heardest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice Lazarus, come forth.
44. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him let him go.
He Want Let Us Go
John 10:22-30
22. And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
23. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
24. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed me not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26. But ye believed not, because ye are not my sheep, as I said unto you.
27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30. I and my Father are one.
Standfast In The Faith
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
13. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14. Let all your things be done with charity.
Death Is Swallowed In Victory
Isaiah 25:8-9
8. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
Hope in God
Psalm 43:1-5
1. Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitiful and unjust man.
2. For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3. O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
5. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Teaching of the Grace of God
Titus 3:1-8
1. Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2. To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
“And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” (Philippians 2:8) [Herald of Light activity from The Bible Brigade]

FACT: The nails in Jesus’ hands probably went through his wrists and not through the center of his hands as is traditionally shown. That is because the wrist has a cluster of nerves and bone that could support his weight on the cross. The nail would rip through his hand if put through the center.
please join my group memorize Gods word! thanks
Would you please pray for the Dolce/Glaze family? My 1st husband and of 26 years and father of my 9 children went to be with the LORD in 2013. My adult children have been upset that I remarried someone who was a friend of their Dad our family. Recently they've spoken lies about us to Children's Services in order to get custody of the 3 remaining minor children. My youngest was 2 years old when I married this man and thinks of him as his dad. The 3 youngest were taken and placed in foster care while 2 adult siblings try to get custody. This is a very sad and stressful situation. Thank you for your prayers.
Sincerely,
Mary Glaze

URGENT!! I seriously have to WARN YOU!! The KJV BIBLE has been CHANGED! (Look up the #MandelaEffect) The Lords Prayer in the KJV is not correct anymore in the KJV (how we remember "tresspasses" changed to "debts" and "those who tresspass against us" changed to "our debtors" and "ON earth" in Mt6,10 changed to "IN earth" - look it up!!!) and John8:32 has changed, as well as Isaiah11,6 changed from "Lion and Lamb will live together" to "Wolve(s) and lamb will live together"

@ Maxi, the "Add or Import Verses" will add verses but they won't add them to -this- group's verses. I think I'll try checking in with some of the Scripture Typer people... Thanks for the suggestions :)
Bria, I'm sorry, I don't know what to do. I suggest contacting the people at Scripture Typer and asking for help. Click on "Contact us" at the bottom of the page. My experience with them is that they are very friendly and helpful.
I'm so glad you are in our memorization group. May God bless you as you seek to hide His Word in your heart through memorization.
Bria, the 'add or import verses' that pops up as part of the menu when you click on the Mark 1 section won't add your verses?
Wow this is kinda fun!!!! =D
I need some technical help. I was trying to group some verses together in the first chapter and I deleted some in the process. I tried adding the verses I deleted back onto my page in the group thing but I can't figure it out. Anybody have some ideas?
I want to affirm of all you have worked hard in the last week to increase your current verses. I saw the verse numbers shoot up dramaticly. I am so happy that you are all putting effort into memorizing God's word. And for those of you who are still getting going. Please don't quit. You will be so blessed by memorizing the book of Mark. I'm a Mama, and have a "getting older" brain. Scripture memorization has not been easy for me. But I've kept working at it, over the last three years and I am finding a change in my abilities since I've started Mark. I haven't paid attention to this book before, because I find John to be so beautiful, speaking to my heart. But Mark's verses are short, and to the point, and uses such powerful words. I am finding them easier to memorize then anything I've worked on. I started at chapter 16, and just finished 15, so I get the chapters about the crucifixion memorized for sure. My spiritual life is being so blessed by working to have these scenes memorized by heart. Please encourage your parents to memorize too. I'd love to see their names here too. They may feel too busy, or that it is too hard, but let them know my story, that the effort is worth it, and it will get easier, if they don't give up. Scripture Typer has really helped me with this. God bless all of you who are still young with young active brains. Please treasure this time of life and put forth as much effort as possible to get God's Word written on your heart. There won't be an easier time for memorization up ahead. The things you memorize now will stay with you. And I am praying for each of you who are actively working at memorization, and for those of you that are struggling too. You are all precious to God. And you inspire me to work harder.
Abundant Blessings,
Barbara
Ok, that sounds good. Thanks for letting me know.
Maxi, we haven't done a schedule this year; with such a wide range of memorizing speeds and preferences, we've decided to try "freestyle." You will need memorize about 2 verses a day to finish in a year, so that's the rough goal. Some will go faster, some slower. :) I will however add rough benchmarks to the description so everybody can have a general goals to work towards.
Is there a schedule to follow for this project? I know there has been in the past, but didn't see any mention of it here. Thanks
Katharina. You can only increase your successful attempts for a verse once in a day (unless you review them all combined together).
Has anyone had any problems reviewing verses? It won't let me have more successful attempts on the same day I memorized the verse, even if I get 100% accuracy.
Thanks Seany! :) Caleb took one look at your instructions and had it fixed in a few seconds. :)
H, it's been some time since I changed my profile photo. But if its anything like the group photo, you have to actually "remove" the ST stock profile photo, then it will give you an option to upload a new one. Check for a link right below the photo...
Has anyone else had problems setting their profile pic? When I go to edit my profile it won't let me select a pic. Caleb has had the same problem with his. Not sure if this is just our problem, or user error. :) Any ideas?
