What then is the final outcome for Satan and the wicked? (Revelation 20:10, 11, 14, 15) There is no place found for them. They are completely destroyed in the lake of fire which is the second death. The Bible says that it shall leave them neither root nor branch, and that the wicked will be ashes under the righteousโ feet, meaning that they are dead. (Malachi 4:1, 3). ย After the purifying fire is over and all the wicked have died from it and all sin has been eliminated, what will God give man? Revelation 21:1, 4. God will give the saved of all ages a new heaven and a new earth to dwell in. There will be no more death, sorrow, pain, sin or tears for the former things have passed away, and they are gone for eternity.
From what the Bible teaches I believe that when we die we stay in the grave and donโt go anywhere (Acts 2:29..David is dead and buried..he didnโt go anywhere. Job 7:9,10 says that those that go down in the grave shall come up no more so therefore they stay in the grave.) but at the second coming when Jesus comes he will raise the righteous up from their graves to go to heaven with him with the righteous who havenโt died (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18..as we see weโll all be caught up together with the righteous who have died to meet the Lord in the air). When Jesus comes all the wicked who are dead remain dead and the wicked who are alive die (2 Thessalonians 2:8 says that the wicked are destroyed by the brightness of his coming) After the thousand years of the righteous being in heaven the wicked will be raised(Revelation 20:5,6 says that โthe rest of deadโ which are the wicked as the righteous are in heaven โlived not again until the thousand years were finishedโ)

In REv 14:11 it says those who conformed to the devil will be tromented nonstop
There will be those who choose not to obey. The world is full of wicked people. Thats why God flooded the Earth in Genesis. Those who do not will go to a place that will eternally punich them for the wrong they did.
Isn't it wonderful to live a life knowing we have a choice between eternal glory and eternal punishment?

oh my bad I see your Jude 7 reference. There it mentions that they all were punished to eternal fire. The eternal fire is the eternal fire in hell I believe
My bible doesn't call the fire that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah eternal. It just says fire and brimstone (sulfur)
Wut about revelation 14 : 11
Jude 7. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by fire many thousands of years ago, yet this text calls the fires of destruction โeternal fireโ. Are these fires burning today? Of course no they arenโt. Everlasting fire simply means that the fire is eternal in its effects. The everlasting fire at the end of time will destroy the wicked for all time, just as Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed with never a hope of recovery.
Mark 9:43. At first glance it appears that this fire will burn forever, but the text does not say this. It says the fire shall not be quenched. To quench simply means to โput outโ. So Jesus is saying that the fire will not be put out. When God starts the fire it will not be put out by anyone, but when the fire has consumed the material fed to it, then it will go out by itself. - Jeremiah 17:27; (2 Chronicles 36:19). Jerusalem was destroyed by what is described as unquenchable fire. The truth is that it could not be quenched while it had its work of destruction to do. However, it did go out when there was nothing more to burn, for quite obviously it is not burning today.
I think there is plenty of proof in the bible that there is a Heaven and a Hell and that we will go to one of them when we die for the rest of eternity.
Really that whole section of Mark 9 mentions hell a couple times
In Mark 9:43 (and I'm using my ESV bible) it says "and if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to got to hell, to the unquenchable fire." It explicitly mentions a place where the wicked will go if they do not obey and listen to God
Emerson in that Malachi passage I see that it's talking about the righteous being given glory and the wicked given punishment. The punishment that God has mentioned many times is eternal damnation in Hell. We can try to live our live worthy of heaven and strive to be like God but there will be those who will not turn to Him and will fall forever into the lake of fire
well in heaven we won't be thinking about our past life here on Earth. So we won't be constantly worrying about those in Hell
Revelation 20:9. According to this verse the wicked will be devoured by fire. To devour something means to consume or annihilate, there will be nothing left
I do not believe that hell exists. why would a God of mercy burn people forever and how could you be happy in heaven knowing that some of your relatives and friends are being tormented? it just doesnโt make sense

I totally agree with you Emerson. Why would God make people speak some gibberish language than no one can understand? for God is not a God of confusion
And Pentacostals just randomly speak gibberish and say they are speaking in "tounges"
And yes I agree that the apostles were speaking in real tongues. But I've never heard of people doing it today. It was a one time thing back in Jesus day. I'm not saying that it couldn't happen today but it's just not that likely it would.
Well, when the apostles spoke in tounges, they were understood (not speaking in some heavenly language but in real languages). when I was in PNG for a mission trip, people who didn't know English understood me completely even though I spoke English. that's the biblical version of speaking in tounges.
And some of the youth at our church got it too
