In your memorization of Rom 8, what is the most important or meaningful thing the Lord has shown you? For me, it is the deepened understanding of the incredible gift of the Holy Spirit, through Jesus’ great sacrifice for us. We have LIFE in us - he gives LIFE to our mortal bodies, He enables us to put to death the sinful deeds of our bodies, AND He prays for us in God’s will when we don’t even know what to pray- AND there’s Jesus at the right hand of God also interceding for us. Indeed, if God is for us, who could be against us! NOTHING can separate us from His love. How about you? What has God shown you?

Welcome to the "group" Rod! We had one other member a couple of months ago, but he dropped out. Blessings on your desire to memorize Romans 8. I believe it is the most important chapter- in the most important book in the bible- in the most important book in the world!

Welcome to the group, LiftHimUp! I became a believer 33 years ago when my pastor was preaching through the book of Romans. I was also reading Mere Christianity by CS Lewis and accepted Christ as my Savior between chapters 7 & 8 of the preaching series. Our new pastor is now in his third year of preaching through Romans and will preach from Romans 8:1-2 next Sunday. My goal is to memorize chapter 8 as he preaches through this wonder chapter of the Bible and then continue on memorizing the rest of Romans as he finishes up the series. My ultimate goal is to go back and memorize the whole book of Romans. Blessings!
