God's Is Faithful To Forgive Us For Our Sins
1 John 1:5-10
5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declared unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sins.
8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

2. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Resurrection Of The Dead
1 Corinthians 15:12-22
12. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you there is no resurrection of the dead?
13. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so that the dead rise not.
16. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17. And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.
Defending Your Faith
1 Peter 3:8-

9. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrarwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing
10. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensure it.
12. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
13. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14. But and if ye suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that askest you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16. Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

4. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus;
7. That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Jesus Christ.
8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

27. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless but believing.
28. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing might have life through his name.

2 Corinthians 5:1-9
1. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up in life.
5. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given us the earnest of the Spirit.
6.Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we absent from the Lord:
7. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9.Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

When Trying Of The Faith Worketh Patience
James 1:2-6
2. My brethern, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4. But let patience have her perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given him.
6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a waver of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

3. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5. For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6. But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7. But when the multitude saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

40. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Example That Christ Is The True Son Of GodJohn 11:38-44
38. Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41. Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42. And I knew that thou heardest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice Lazarus,come forth.

25. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed me not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26. But ye believed not, because ye are not my sheep, as I said unto you.
27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

2. For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3. O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
5. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

2. To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

18. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedest thyself, and walkest whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt strech forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Turning Together To God

8.But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blastphem, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10. And have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew circumcision nor uncircumision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all and in all.

9. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Hi everyone! I can’t believe it’s almost November! Since the Nationals test is tomorrow, keep in mind that we cannot say anything about the test until AFTER the competition.
@Reed They are added now :)
How soon do you think the Junior FRs will be out?
Senior FRs added as well!
I will add a collection with the entire chapter passages later this week.
Yes, Isaiah 40-48 verse by verse is added!
Are you planning tonadd Isaiah 40-48 as well?
@Madison. SS stands for the Summer Study passages. ER is the Early Release Passages. @Everyone: I will be adding the FR verses (final release passages) soon!
Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I will fix it.
2022 Primary ER: one verse is wrong. It should be 1 Samuel 2:10 not 1 Samuel 1:10. I don't want anyone memorizing the wrong passage!
What does SS and ER stand for?
Sorry for the delay on ERs, they should be added by Monday afternoon.
And anyone is able to memorize and study Scripture. it takes some motivation and diligence but God has blessed everyone with that ability. you can do it!
That is ok, anything to do with the Bible, Bible Bee, or just chatting (just as long as it doesn’t get out of hand) is totally ok for this message wall!
Sorry if that’s off topic. You can delete that if it is.
I admire people who Participate in The Bible Bee. 👏
Thank you Emma!! They are KJV now 😊
@iy yi You can do it! One easy way to get a ahead is by doing the DJ on the weekend. That way you’ll end up getting finished at least a week ahead but you won’t be doing too much in one day :)
@Emerald, if you click to select a collection, you should be able to change the version it’s in. You may have accidentally clicked on ‘keep verses in original version’ or something like that. If you already added the collection to your verses, you can unselect them and redo it that way. Hope this makes sense! If this doesn’t help, there should be some tutorial videos on Biblememory.com
I want to be at least 1 wk ahead on the DJ
can you please add the senior verses in the KJV version?
I also went ahead and added Ruth in chapters in case any of you might find it helpful.
@Nathanael, I’m sorry about that, it should be fixed now! Let me know if there’s any other errors or issues!
Yes, they should be added now! So is a verse by verse set for Ruth.
can you add the Junior ss
Slouch, I deleted your comment. This message board is for encouragement, getting to know one another, and discussing God’s Word. Please do not say anything hurtful about any of our members.

FACT: The Bible is not a type of bee. Your welcome.
thanks Heaven! we are also working on Ruth and memorizing various passages relating to redemption. I hope my son and daughter can press through to the end this year. It’s a big commitment but I think it will be a blessing to them. (Christy is my daughter if you’ve ‘met’ her in the chat group.
Hello, Lisa!
Since many of us are thinking that the Summer Study will be about the book of Ruth, I plan to memorize Ruth. I also tend to memorize somewhat lengthy miscellaneous passages just to get my brain prepared. :)
hi Haven! we are! I’m curious if anyone has passages they plan to memorize in preparation for summer study journal release?
Hey everyone!! are y'all excited for the Bible Bee theme this year?
Good morning! The National Bible Bee test is today. Following the rule book, do not post anything about the test on here, even how you think you did, until November 20th :). For those of you taking the test today, may God give peace and discernment!
Yes, I have just added the FR passages for all divisions! Acts 12-28 coming soon!
Thanks @Emma! Are the final release passages going to be added soon?
For those who are studying for Nationals, the Final Release Passages and Acts 12-28 will be added soon!!
Hi! What division are you in, @Leighanna?
@Leighanna, My studying is going well, thanks for asking! How is your studying going?
how has everyone's studying been going?
@ Emma it's been going great!
The ER passages for all three divisions are now added!
Happy 4th of July everyone!
@Haven My studying is going well, how is you studying going?
how is the Bible Bee studying going for everyone?
in the 2021 Senior SS Passages there's a mistake in Acts 2 36-39 KJV
it says "the same Jesus"
it's supposed to be "that same Jesus"
I went to the one in Denton, TX in May :)
And there is no age limit or limit to the way you recite it! Here is the Scriptorium website if you want to look it over: https://scriptoriums.com
A scriptorium is an event where each family or person will choose a chapter or passage of the Bible to recite. You aren’t judged for mistakes, it’s just a fun event where everyone recites Scripture together! There are many Scriptoriums held throughout the US, the most recent one being in Ohio, one of the largest scriptorium events!
What is the Ohio scriptorium?
I am not, but I know many that are going. Are you?
Are any of you going to the Ohio scriptorium this week?
I think they used to call them that before 2015 now that I think about it. But anyways, @Timothy, that’s what the collection title refers too :)
I have always called them Summer Study Passages.
Maybe it’s just me, but I at least used to call the Summer Study, “Locals”.
@Timothy The local passages are the same as what we now call the Summer Study (SS) passages :)
I didn't know about Bible bee in 2019, so I don't know.
What does "local" in the Junior MP's for 2019 mean?
@Haven That is good to know, I wasn't sure if there would be one this year! Thanks for clarifying that !
@Charis i am not sure, my sister is on the Alumni Service Team, and she said hat they will be coming out later during the study.
Awesome! yes i have my discovery journal!
yes i have my discovery journal
Hi Emma! Is there a cross-reference list?
Today is the official start of the study!
did any of you get your DJ yet? [ Discovery Journal]
Whether or not you want to memorize the early release passages is up to you. Some like to get a head start, others like to focus on Locals and memorize them later. :)
I do memorize the SS passages, and highly recommend it, especially since it is a requirement to recite them if you are interested in qualifying for Nationals.
This year the early release passages come out on June 28th. For me personally, whether I memorize the study passage depends on the length. I haven’t decided yet if I’m memorizing Acts 1-11, but I think I might give it a try and see how far I get. If I don’t memorize the book I try to be as familiar as I can with what each verse says.
thanks Emma. When do early release passages come out? And do you personally try to memorize the study book as well as the SS verses?
Yes! ER stands for Early Release. The ER are passages for Nationals that are released early for people to get a head start :)
can someone please explain what ER stands for?
Hi everyone! the Junior and Primary passages are now added! Thanks to Clara R. for letting me use her collections!
@Timothy, Thanks for sharing!

@Haven I really like #3, the Art Heist Adventure. It's one of my favorites.
if any of you want to join my group as well it is called " Memorize the Bible!" and the profile picture is of an open faced bible! I have no members yet. when the Bible Bee memory passage come out I will have those on there as well!
@anna what is one of your favorite adventures?
@Haven yeah, they're great!
have any of you listened to the Jonathan park auto adventures? they are my favorite!
my sister is on the Bible bee alumni serves teem!
this is my third year in bible bee!
good thank you! is everyone here doing bible bee this year?
@Haven: Hi! I’m doing well, how are you?
@Kylo You cannot lose your salvation!!! The book of Hebrews was written to the Jews. Hebrews 10:26 was dealing with the Jews. Heres what Paul said in Galatians: Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16. You should learn about dispensationalism. It will clear up alot of problems and help you understand what is actually for us. Check out REAL Bible Believers on YouTube. He has really taught me alot.
Hello everyone! Hope y’all are doing well :). And welcome to all new members!!
How many VERSES has everyone done?
That’s good though! Keep it up!! :)
It's going well...except for that fact I've only done about 100 and the test is like....next week almost!
@Nadia, I wish I had done more ER as well :-/. The season is so short this year! I usually count by verses instead of passages. How are you doing with memorizing? I hope it’s going well!!
OKay........ Back to Bible Bee...
How many passages have y'all finished? (I wish I had done ER there is like no time left)
So your saying, you went one day without thinking one bad thought, saying something not nice, or acting wrong?
@kylo
So, you sin every day, so are you saying you are not saved?
.
"We" overcome the sin nature when we let the holy Spirit work on us (this is Sanctification) and as we draw close to the Lord, sin no longer has control over our lives.
How do you personally over come the sin nature?
.
I didn't say we can't lose our salvation, we can, but it is not a "Oh, you just told a lie, you aren't saved anymore" but a slow, long process of falling away and letting sin build up separating us from the Lord, resulting in us becoming blind and Satan coming in a tricking us to follow him and then, if you resent, you are no longer saved.
What I am confused at is, what is your definition of "overcoming sin"? Do you mean permanently defeat it so we never sin and are now perfect? Or do you mean, that we have overcome it, so it does not rule over our lives, but we still sin, but we are no longer slaves to sin.?
We were all children of the devil, but once we become born again, we are born again into God's family, and are now, Children of God. We will still sin, we do still sin, but sin is no longer in authority over our lives. We will still sin! Because all man has sinned and will sin. But we do not have to give it charge over our lives. If that makes any sense. :)
In short, overcoming the sin nature is not letting it control your life, and your actions. And we cannot do that, we let the Holy Spirit work in our lives, and surrender to him and cooperate with him.
.
.
But, this is a group for the National Bible Bee so maybe you could take this somewhere else???? I mean, so we're not clogging the message wall...
Reread Hebrews 10:26 and then tell me that we cannot lose our salvation again. One example of a person who lost theirs was Demas. In Philemon 1:24 Paul calls him a fellow worker. But in 2 Timothy 4:10, it talks about how he went the way of the world. It is true that we cannot live a sinless life on our own but with the power of Jesus we can overcome that sin nature. Adam and eve passed on sin to all humans we are all born sinners but once we are saved we overcome that through the cleaning power of Jesus Christ our Lord who convicts and cleanses of sin, teaches and guides, and gives us the fruit of the spirit. If we say that we can never overcome this sinful nature I feel like we are taking away from the power of Jesus. One thing I might add is the Bible speaks of those who sin being children of the devil (1 John 3:6-10) and I am a child of God who has overcome that.
@Kylo
Okay, I do not agree with that.
I do not believe that from one day to the next you can lose your salvation just because you sin once!
People have a sin nature, so we WILL sin. There is nothing WE can do about it. BUT once we are saved, the Holy Spirit lives inside us and works on our hearts (if we let him) and that is Sanctification . WE can not do ANYTHING WE can NOT Make ourselves stop sinning. But once we surrender our lives fully to the Lord, he works on us, and convicts us of our sin, convicts us to apologize when we wrong someone. Yes, sin separates us from the Lord. And when that wall of unconfessed sin get's so high, we become "desensitized" or "unsensitive" to the Still Small voice of the Holy Spirit telling us to repent, not to do this, not to sin. At that point we are no longer living for the Lord. Un-repented sin, "reserects" the old man, the sinful man. And then, we are looking and acting like we did when we were not saved, and we are now, living for the devil again. And an unbeliever. Now, of course, if we repent and ask the Lord to forgive us, then we can come back to him. That is an example of one extreme.
I do not believe that if we sin once we automatically lose our salvation, nor do I believe that it is possible to not sin, i.e be perfect. And I'd like to say this again: We can not live a sinless life on our own, we must let the Holy Spirit do his work of sanctification.
.
Romans 3: 23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us
Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Okay, so if we repent of our sins after we sin we’re still saved?
Yes, just to be clear if we sin after we are saved we lose our salvation because God can not stand sin and if we are doing it we are separated from him and unless we repent will not make it to heaven.
There is no Bible verse that says we all sin every day. Another question... are you saying that if you sin after you’re saved that makes you lose your salvation?
If anyone else wants to hop in and sate their opinion feel free!
If you continue to be held down by the bondage of sin then there is no difference between an unsaved and saved person except for a desire to please God, which is practically no difference at all. This can be a hindrance for people who are not Christians because they may think that Christians are the same as them, sinners. AS sin is any willful transgression against the known law of God, not mistakes we make just because we are human like forgetting where we put a set of keys. If God can give us victory every second, every minute, and every hour over sin than he can give us victory every day. You cannot have eternal salvation read Hebrews 10:26 we can lose our salvation if we sin. Sin separates us from God and if we continue to sin how will we ever get to heaven. We can overcome our sinful nature through the power of Jesus Christ's perfection. I may not be perfect but Jesus is. Finally, I have one question for you. Where is your Biblical proof to back up the saying we are all sinners?
my definition of sin is when we disobey God. The context of part of the verse I quoted says “all have sinned” so I was referring to sinning and falling short of the glory of God, I don’t believe that anyone can really pray ‘better’ than anyone, Jesus technically would have because He is God but we can’t live up to Jesus and I don’t think that not praying as well as Him is sinning.
Even though I pray, when Jesus was on Earth he prayed even better, because he is God. So when I pray I fall short of the glory of God. Because when Jesus prayed he was even better. So my question is what is your definition of sin?
@Kylo: I don't understand what you meant about prayer....
And I get what you're saying about sinning but I personally believe that we all sin and as Hebrews 10:26 says we should not sin willfully.
@Kylo
Sinning is disobeying God. Jesus told us to pray, and he would NEVER tell anyone to sin, therefore prayer is the farthest thing from sin. I don't think I understand what you are saying. Are you saying that it is possible NOT to sin? Like go through a day or week without sinning?
What is your definition of sin because when I pray I fall short of the glory of than Jesus prayed so am I sinning when I pray. I also believe that God knows the answer to everything and in his word lies the answer to this problem. Some scriptures that you can read are Hebrews 10:26, 1 John 3:6-10, 1 Corinthians 10:13, & Romans 6:12-14. Read all of these and understand where I am coming from.
@AuroraBeam Yep, I agree.
@Nadia A: That's a hard topic actually, very debatable. And I believe we all sin and fall short of the glory of God and we all constantly make mistakes.
@Kylo: I'm not saying Jesus couldn't make us not sin, I'm saying that God gave us free will and the nature of human beings is to sin. We constantly sin, can you think of a day you didnt do anything wrong? Didnt think of anything you shouldn't have thought of? I'm certain you can't! I think that John 8:11 is a command to all of us to sin no more, to do the best we can, to deny our own desires, because that is what God wants us to do. I believe that I'm always gonna sin and that's why I need Jesus, but I can't use that as an excuse to sin, I still need to to my best through the Holy Spirit. I also think that this is a subject that only God really knows the answer to so we could keep debating it but we probably aren't going to get anywhere...
@Kylo We don't have to keep on sinning I agree. I think everyone agrees with you there ;)
Even if I am not perfect I know that Jesus is and he can save us from our sins so that we can live in victory over it and completely give our life over to Jesus so that nothing can hold us back. If you say we have to keep on sinning you are discrediting the power of Jesus. Also, the woman had as many chances because God will always forgive, but if you can't actually sin any more than Jesus was just joking, probably just laughing up there in heaven because he set the bar so high we will never reach it.
@Kylo The Bible tells us not to sin but it also tells us that it’s impossible not to sin because we aren’t perfect and that’s why God sent His Son Jesus to save us! We do still sin and we still disobey God but he forgives us and gives us a second chance, and a third chance, and a fourth chance, etc. That’s what I think the passage is saying. Jesus was giving her a second chance. I’m certain she sinned again but He kept giving her more chances!
If you disagree with me then why did Jesus say, Go and sin no more." to the woman who committed adultery.
Yes Emma!! God has given us the gift of free will, and we can use that to glorify Him or to sin against Him. It's downright impossible to not sin. Only Jesus did that.
As in my first comment a few days ago I emphasized that we can CHOOSE not to sin :). God gives us free will. We can still make decisions to sin. It is pretty much impossible to be saved and still NOT sin. All have sinned (Romans 3:23) :)
@Jordan and @Tim, I definitely agree with y’all! Christ has saved us “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5)”. We are still sinners, even through Christ has taken away our sin, it doesn’t mean we are unable to sin. We still have a choice.
We all sin. We were born with a sinful nature. But we are DEFINITELY sinners. But God has saved us!! We still sin though, because God is working on us and it will take the rest of our lives.
I go to a Nazarene church, but my family does not necessarily agree with their entire doctrine.
Of course we can still triumph over sin, not contradicting that.
Well everyone is still a sinner. Read Romans 3:10 and 3:23. Christians still sin. The only one who does not constantly sin is God.
I am surprised to find someone that agrees with me! I am of the denomination of the Nazarenes what are you?
AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! AMMMEEENNN!!!!!!!!! @Kylo
We don't have to sin every day, there is no predestination, and once you are saved you can still lose your salvation.
@Kylo, Yes! We are not slaves to sin, and Jesus has taken away our sin and covered us with his righteousness and love. We can choose truth over sin each and every day :)
@Kylo Yes we are not sinners because Jesus took away our sin and the Father only sees his Son when he looks at Us.
Did you guys know that we don't have to sin every day and that we are not sinners? Also, we can live in victory over sin.
Hello everyone! I've just added the Senior Final Release passages to the group. AuroraBeam added the Primary and Junior FR as well. Sorry it took so long to get them up! Happy studying! :D
@Nadia A: Hello! How are you? that’s alright xD. It happens to me, too.
The Primary and Junior remaining passages have been added!
Nadia A: It happens to me all the time! If I reload the page or press post multiple times that happens, but you should be able to delete them if you want :D
What? I did not mean to post that more than once! Sorry! 😯😬😬😬
@AuroraBeam: Sorry I didn’t see this earlier! that would be great! You should be admin now :)
@Emma: I can add them sometime tomorrow if you make me an admin! :)
If there are any Juniors or Primaries on here that either has or would like to make an FR collection for your division, I can make you admin so that you can do so. That would be extremely helpful for me, and for the rest of the group, as I don’t have the Junior or Primary verses. Thanks! :)
@Emma Awesome! Thanks so much!
Hello everyone! For those who took the test, I hope it went well! :)
The new study passage for Nationals is John 16-21, so I've added it to the group! The new memory passages will be added as soon as possible!
thank you ☺️ u hope everyone makes it too!
I hope you make it to semi's :)
@Kloe: I so happy for you! Great job!!!
@Kloe Yay, good job!! I hope that you may be able to make to semi's! Cheering you on over here!
I passed the mini test Andrew verses I meant to say
I passed my test!!!yay 😃 I am just going to try my best and see what happens next. I hope to make it to Texas for the show, but we’ll see
If you would like to learn more about the Bible Bee, Alyssa, I would suggest going to biblebee.org. It starts each year at the beginning of June =)
To be able to take the Qualifying Test for Bible Bee, you have to take an 8 question quiz and recite two memory passages. You have to get at least 50% to pass. It’s important for those who want to make it to Nationals to pass Proclaim! Day first :)
@Kloe I hope your Proclaim! Day goes well today! And, I hope that you will be able to keep up with reviewing. I know it can be hard sometimes, but just continue to chug away at it!
@Kloe: That’s is great! I hope you make it.
@Clara R: my Proclaim day is today. so yes Friday,
Wait today is Thursday, lol i cant remember what today is.
@Emma: That's awesome! Self motivation (and motivation created by other 'Aspirants') is a huge help! One of the only things that really keep me going this year.... xD Oh wow! Congrats! :)
@Kunicorn300: I hope you pass the QT! Is your proclaim day this coming Friday?
@Noah: Lol. You sound like me on that one! Although today I have like 250 to review 🥴 ah well....
@kunicorn3000 Yes I did! I hope you pass the QT this year! =D
that’s great! did you pass the proclaim day? I have always passed mine, but I have never passed the test
@kunicorn3000 I’m sure you’ll do well with your proclaim day! I did mine today :)
@Clara My reviewing is going pretty well except for today xD. Like Noah my biggest motivator is my competitiveness xD. I like to make a goal to complete in a certain amount of time, for example, 50 verses in 15 minutes. It keeps me focused ;)
has everyone already there proclaim day? I’m doing mine tomorrow
I do really want to pass the test this year though
I like doing the book part... but when it comes to review I’m either in the mood to get it down, or I’m too lazy lol
Well Clara I'm like sorta competitive so usually I always can review...The will...xD
@Emma: Thx. :) I just finished. All done till tomorrow! :) How are you doing keeping up on review? That is the hardest part for me. XD
@Clara Good job on reviewing! I need to do the same xD
Yeah!!! Review is done for 1 whole hour!! XD
@AuroraBeam: Ouch! That makes my numbers feel small, although it will soon be at that if I don't take care of it quickly. XD
I have 78 verses/passages to review. :/ I'm kinda putting it off, but the numbers aren't getting any smaller XD
I have 64 verses to review
Funny you should mention it..... I have 380 verses to review xDDDD
how is everyone’s reviewing going?!?😁
You should go to this website biblebee.org it tells you all about it! It's really fun :)
so what do I do in this group?
Welcome Alyssa! I’m so glad you joined the group!
welcome @Alyssa! So glad you joined! 😁
@Kenna Crain: I was just saying of course I remember you
I think we all have problems 😉
@Atani Yoon: Weeeel, I might be put off that you said we had a problem but yeah. Welcome to the group!
@Atani Yoon: Do we have a problem? xD
that’s great! I really like those verses too!
@Kunicorn3000 Wow, this is your 4th year? How awesome! This is my first year participating and I am enjoying it thus far! My favorite verse is Genesis 45:7-11. I also really like Genesis 50:17-21.
@kunicorn3000: It varies only a little bit. My favorite verse this year is Isaiah 49:8-13.
has anyone in this group pasted the QT? if so do you have any tips?
Matthew 6:9-15 is my favorite verse this year
I’m in the junior edition so idk if it varies but what was everyone’s favorite verse this year?
@kunicorn3000 That’s great! I’ve really enjoyed this year’s study as well!
my study is going really good! This is my 4th year doing bible bee.I have really enjoyed it this year, and I feel really prepared.
@kunicorn3000 My studying is going pretty well! Countdown to the QT has already started in my mind. XD How about your studying?
@Emily Miller Hi! Welcome to the group!
@kunicorn3000, My studying is going well. :) How is your studying going?
how is everyone’s study this year going!?
I mean the time thing. #clarifying problems
@Grace, probably true. That's kinda weird though!
@Emma and @Grace, Me either! I don't think I will ever be able to say Bible Memory without thinking first. Lol!
Lol, @Grace, I never have and never will stop calling it ST no matter how hard I try. xD
@Clara, yeah, Central time must just be the standard for BibleMemory.com lol (I almost said ST *facepalm* I'm never gonna learn to call it anything else xD)
@Clara, Hmm, that’s interesting. I’m in central time so the times on here that show for you are right for me :). Maybe it has to do with that the admins are in Central time? But that’s shouldn’t matter...so idk. I hope it fixes itself for you and @Grace too =)
@Grace, Maybe cause we are both in Eastern time? Lol! I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. :)
@Cross Man, Definitely for me too! I decided to not push for Nationals this year because of that, and also because I’m really busy this year. :)
@Emma, I am in Eastern time...Every time I post, it shows that I posted an hour earlier. It’s kinda weird! 🤷🏼♀️😂
@Cross man: Definitely! I was really shooting for nationals this year as I’ve never made it before, and I was really hoping to be able to meet new people and make friends and stuff, but when I heard the news I felt kinda discouraged. Now that it has been a few weeks though, I feel okay.
Hello everyone. I am curious if the news about Bible Bee only taking the top fifteen has affected anyone's motivation as it is mine? :(
@Nadia A: That’s great! Keep pressing on! :)
@Nadia A. Hello, and welcome to the group!
@Luke Z, Hi! Welcome to the group!
@Clara: I don’t know why. Sorry! Mine has always been correct.
@Clara, it has always done that for me, I have no idea why lol
@Clara, Hmm, I don’t know. Maybe it’s some sort of glitch with the system. It’s not like that for me. Are you in a different time zone? But time zones shouldn’t matter with the time you post...
@All, Is it just me, or is the clock on Scripture Typer off? When I post something, usually the time on the post is about an hour behind. I know that the time on my computer is correct...
@vasti xiadani. Sé un poco de español! Agrado! ¿Usted también está memorizando para la abeja de la Biblia?
@Heaven: Good job! Keep up the good work!
@Noah My memorizing is going very well! I only have three more passages left to memorize. Once I get those, then I will probably start working on the CR's and take a look at the ER's.
@AuroraBeam: It's going well! I just finished memorizing all my MPs, so now I have to start on the early release passages!
@Emma: Hi!
@Noah: My memorizing is doing pretty good... how about you?
@AurorBeam: Nice! I totally should have guessed...I even knew Reuben was the only Senior! And the tag....who could forget that? xD
@Noah: I've been on Scripture typer for a while... IDK how long.
@All: So how is memorizing going?
@AuroraBeam: Oh wow, hi Charis! xD Totally should’ve guessed who you were xD
@Vasti xiadani: Habla un poquito español. ¿Como estas?
@AuroraBeam:For real! I totally should have known who you are! Is this your first year on BibleMemory?
@Noah: 🤣 maybe if I just told you my name.....
@AuroraBeam: Ohhhhhh! Now I remember!
hola , alguien habla español ? bendiciones
@Noah: nope he’s in senior
@AuroraBeam: So it is not Reuben....
@Noah This will be my 3rd year as a Junior....
@AuroraBeam: Haha IRK!!! Are you a senior or junior this year?
@Noah so many to choose from....
@AuroraBeam: I figured it was! Now which one of the Browns....xD
@Noah oh, haha yeah them.... That would be my family
@AurorBeam: Do you know the Browns? xD
@Noah well, we’ve been at this host group for about 5 years......so I don’t know what else to tell you 😂
@AuroraBeam: I should totally know who you are!!!! I can't seem to remember though! Ughhhh! xD
@Noah I’m in junior. I was also running around playing tag?
@AuroraBeam: Hmmm...I feel like I should remember that! What division are you in?
@Noah well, you might remember me..... my older brother was the only senior last year
@AuroraBeam: That is so cool! I wonder if we know each other?
Yeah, I'm in y'alls too.... unless you changed in the past year 😆
@AuroraBeam: Yes we are! Are you in a host group?
@Noah are you and Emma in the same host group?
@AuroraBeam: Ohhhh! xD Definitely early!!
@Noah I think he’s being late to the New Year......
@MicahJustus I think that’s more of an early New Year than a late one.....🤣
Umm...am I missing something?
@AurorBeam: Welcome to the late club! xD
@Noah, I was considering saying something like that..... Happy late 4th of July!!
Happy late 4th of July guys! xD
Yes, Happy 4th of July!!!
Alright Primary ERs have been added!
@AuroraBeam Thanks! You should be able to add them now :)
@Emma
I’m making a primary collection for another group so I can add them 😁
Hello all! I hope you’re doing well! If anyone is able to make a Primary ER collection, let me know and I can make you admin so that you can add them to the group. I have access, but as I am out of town I wouldn’t be able to add them within the next few days. This would be so helpful—thanks so much in advance!
The Junior ER passages have been added now🙃
@AlternateIsAwesome: Hello! :)
@AuroraBeam You should be admin now :). Thanks so much!
@Emma if you would make me an admin I would be more than happy to add junior ERs 😁
The Senior ER Passages have been added!
@AuroraBeam Yes, as soon as possible. Senior ERs should be added today. I don’t have a list of the Junior ERs, but when I find one I’ll try to add it as soon as I can :). If anyone can make a collection of those, I can add them as admin so they can add it to the group. That would be super helpful. Primary ERs should be added within the next week or two.
@Emma are you planning on adding ER soon?
@Kruiz No, you don’t have to learn this groups verses if you don’t want to :). That’s awesome that you’re learning Psalms!
go join (Black Lives Matter 2020)
