Amazing Job Today everybody! Even if you didnt make it into the championship, you all showed how much time, and effort you put into memorizing The Word of GOD! Once again, amazing preformance, and Hope to see most of you back for another rally next season!!!!
sleep well guys let’s finish strong tomorrow
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." {Winston Churchill}
Y'all have done a fantastic job this year! Let's finish the season strong!
If you haven't been able to watch the livestream of Wisconsin quizzing, here is what happened. Greenville B took 5th place, with Elijah C, Jason F, Joy C, and Megan C on that team. Greenville A took 3rd place with Abby U, Josiah W, Justus W, Lydia P, and Sam U on that team. We did not lose to both Falls teams this time. Falls A and Tabernacle A took 1st and 2nd. Great job to both teams and we look forward to seeing y'all soon!
I hope everybody in Wisconsin does good. 🙂
because he didn’t enjoy the cross nor wasn’t only kind of hard but it was shameful embarrassing and horrifically painful yet now he is on the right hand if God interceding for us
Just curious what has been y'all's favorite verse over this quiz season and why?
For those of you who didn't get the email, the quiz has been canceled. For any of you that crammed for the last week, cement your chapter in your brain and review your old material. Study well for the next 3 weeks and crush it at the banquet! Lord willing, see you on Sunday.
we have just over 50 hours left until the quiz. Are you ready? If you are, good job. If you aren't, will you be ready by Saturday?
I also have 2 peter 1. Hope y'all are doing ABSOLUTELY AWESOME
I also have 2 peter 1. Hope y'all are doing ABSOLUTELY AWESOME
when is the next quiz going to be?
Just wondering who have second Peter 1📖
Because I know that my teammates are all very good and getting their chapters, I would rather get mine word perfect, then go back and solidify old material. But, if my first chapter sticks well enough, I'll consider getting a second one.
I will try to memorize all of it
Give it a go. I believe in you :)
Are you going to limit yourself before you even try, James? (if I am mistaken, sorry) Probably, the only reason you say you can't is because you have never tried. I would strongly suggest you give it a go. What's the worst that could happen? You spend a little bit extra time in the word of God? Do not limit yourself before you even try.
To those of you that can do that, go right ahead. But to those of us who can't, keep going strong and get your chapter word perfect. No offense to Justus, but I can't do that. But I bid you Lord willing.
Yo, peeps. There are only 61 verses to memorize this month to get all of the material. Yes, I am aware it is difficult :). But by memorizing a mere 61 verses, you could memorize the entire book of 2 Peter! Memorizing all the material is particularly helpful because it allows you to choose which questions you would like to answer, for all of them are questions from your chapters (besides old material). Why not close out your last PQA month with a bang?
Everybody did great today great job y'all are all incredible!!
Congratulations today everybody!!! You all did wonderfully. Again, would a member of each team (doesn't matter who) please input their scores into the chat? My team went 1-1.
There is do or do not, there is no try (Yoda). Who's With Us?!?!?!
Can you get hyped!!! I don't know about you guys, but this month has been the hardest one for me this year. Let's prepare well, be energized going into practice, and finish this month strong!!! Lord willing, see y'all at 12!
Keep up the good work everyone, y'all are doing amazing!!!!!
Not as well as I had hoped
I was just wondering, how is everybody doing with their chapter?
Just wondering who has 1 Peter 2?
Nice Berean! You guys are all doing really well!
Hope everybody's chapter is going well!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 Peter 3:15
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."
Encourages readiness: It calls believers to always be prepared to explain their faith, which is essential for sharing the Gospel.
Focuses on humility: It emphasizes doing so with meekness (gentleness) and fear (reverence), avoiding pride or arrogance.
Centers on hope: It highlights the unique, life-changing hope found in Christ, which can be a powerful testimony to others.
Just curious, what is your favorite verse this month and why.
What can I say except you're welcome!
thank you for the chapters!
yes thanks James for the chapters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for the chapters, james
great job¡!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!
Good job today everybody! If I counted correctly, our teams went 10-4 today! Here are the chapters for the next month.
Are y'all ready, only one day left.
Hello guys, what is your favorite verse this month
we went 1-1 for the vigilant
2-0 for the Gvl Bold. Thank you Lord!!
there's three days left to quiz are y'all ready
My favorite verse this month is...
Hebrews 10:17
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
I Love the fact that our GOD is able to forget our sins and iniquities just like that! He just says I will forget this... And he does!
And there is another verse that talks about God NOT forgeting the good, and righteous things you have done, Heb. 6:10...
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Praise his holy name!
Hey guys, what is your favorite verse this month?
As of right now, Hebrews 7:25. "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
Jesus Christ lives forever to mediate to God for you and me.
What a difference between Jesus Christ and old testament priests! OT priests could not save us to the uttermost because they died. Right when you got to know your priest right proper, he died. How much better is Jesus that ever lives to intercede for us? THE perfect priest. Hallelujah
What is your favorite verse this month?? and why??😁
Hey guys my team won both.
we went 2-0. the Lord was very kind and blessed efforts!
Our team went 2-0. Thank you Lord!
Alright peoples, let's kick some fanny today.
thank you for sharing! some great points!
One verse I have especially enjoyed this week is Hebrews 2:18. My LORD knows exactly how to comfort me and is making intercession on my behalf. Thankful for the way he succours those who are his.
Welcome lollipop!
My favorite verse from this month's chapters is Hebrews 2:15:
"And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."
There are many kinds of bondage we can suffer from, most of them fears like the one mentioned in this verse. While it may seem that this bondage will continue your whole life, Jesus Christ has already conquered anything that you could possibly be afraid of, and is building you a beautiful palace in heaven right now! He is able to deliver us any moment we need him.
Hey this is Jubilee Pipkin
Mine is Hebrews 3:12 Hebrews 3:12 KJV
[12] Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
All time favorite Psalm 139:23-24 Seach me, O God, and know my hear: try me and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. I want God to seach me and tell me if there is any evil in me so I can put it out and be clean. Current Favorite. Daniel 4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? We can't do anything to him. We are Nothing. He is Everything. He can do whatever he wants in any way he wants it. He spoke and there was light where there used to be nothing. He spoke and the earth was formed from nothing. He spoke and man and beast was made from nothing. No one has been able or will ever be able to do that. FROM this month's material Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had BY HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. He purged our sins BY HIMSLEF. He didn't need anyone or anything. He did it HIMSELF. Sory it is so long. There are just so many good verses in the Bible!!!!!
Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Does Jesus care? I know he cares. His heart is touched with my grief. He is able to succour them that are tempted (Hebrews 2:18).
I also like that we can see from this verse that being tempted is NOT sin. It's a very encouraging thought.👌
eee. It's exciting stuff.
That is the plan. Will you be? :-)
Hey guys! Just curious what is your favorite verse? And why?
Just under 2 weeks until the quiz. Will you be ready?
Hey yall this is Lily Pipkin
I noticed it as well and have no idea why it changed.
hey random question... is there a reason why it changed from who had the most verses to who has memorized the most in the last few days?
