30. And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

8. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the rivers unto the ends of the earth.
The admin is Kerrilyn. I think she's not active anymore. I will try to get her if I can. Very sad to see many people have left memorizing scriptures. Even this site needs a lot of updates. Hope those who are alive and active, encourage each other and continue memorizing scriptures. Those who are memorizing scriptures in KJV format can join my group KJV Lovers. I have no problem in adding what you are memorizing. If anyone wants to take initiative in creating a whatsapp or Facebook group it would have been good that we encourage each other.
Peggy, this group is missing a lot of psalms. I am not an admin or I would add it. I have a group called psalms (the one with the pic of a Bible) it has ALL the psalms in it. it also has a lot of other verses. if you want to join, you are welcome to.
To whomever is the administrator of this group: could you please add Psalm 104 to the list of Psalms to memorize?

10. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Good morning everyone! Hello!
God's Is Faithful To Forgive Us For Our Sins
1 John 1:5-10
5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declared unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sins.
8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
The Lord is My Shepherd
Psalm 23:1-6
1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
@Shawn: That's a worthy goal. Interestingly, The chapter in the very CENTER of the Bible is Psalms 118; the SHORTEST is Psalms 117, and the LONGEST is Psalm 119. There are 594 chapters before Psalm 118, and 594 chapters after Psalm 118. When you add them together, they total 1188, the very MIDDLE verse of the Bible (Psalm 118:8). "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." Awesome, isn't it? This is just one of the many incredible mysteries to be found hidden in the Bible's pages. If we like hunting for buried treasure, there are many other riches hidden in the scriptures. They are there to be found when we search with all our heart! Check out more hidden truths on FINAL EVENTS SDA. Hope to see you there!
Resurrection Of The Dead
1 Corinthians 15:12-22
12. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you there is no resurrection of the dead?
13. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so that the dead rise not.
16. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17. And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

9. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrarwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing
10. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensure it.
12. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
13. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14. But and if ye suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that askest you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16. Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus;
7. That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Jesus Christ.
8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

25. The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.
When Trying Of The Faith Worketh Patience
James 1:2-6
2. My brethern, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4. But let patience have her perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given him.
6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a waver of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

3. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5. For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6. But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7. But when the multitude saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

39. But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Example That Christ Is The True Son Of GodJohn 11:38-44
38. Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41. Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42. And I knew that thou heardest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice Lazarus, come forth.

25. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed me not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26. But ye believed not, because ye are not my sheep, as I said unto you.
27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30. I and my Father are one.

Teaching of the Grace of God
Titus 3:1-8
1. Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2. To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

The Book of Psalms is an amazing comforting Book of the KJV Bible!! Praise GOD for HIS Holy Word!!!
Hi Rita, welcome to the group; I'd like to echo what Lisa said. You probably have some Psalms that you are familiar with already. Start with those and add a little as the Lord leads.
Hi, Rita (#R. J. A.) -- I've only been at this a few months and I have to say my spiritual life has been absolutely transformed as I'm **finally** able to successfully memorize Scripture!!! My best advice would be to treat it like any new "habit" or skill you're trying to build: Set a time and stick to it daily as best you can. Start slowly...add in as the Lord leads...never give up "for in due time you will succeed if you don't quit!" (my paraphrase). You might start by choosing passages that have particular meaning for you -- perhaps promises, or "swords" to help you in your personal struggles. God is with you!!!
Hi all!! Just found out about this app! I'm completely new though! anything I need to know? ☺️ Bless you!

Hi, I’m Tracey. Very new to this app. Feeling my way thru. Anything I need to know to understand further?
I’m new to the group and this is so encouraging! I’m a competitive person so I try to push myself to improve my score each week. This is my first time memorizing bible verses and it’s a delight to have the go over and over in mi mind through the day! 🙏🏼 Keep going, you guys are doing awesome!
Admin -- is Psalm 138 loaded? I see the button for it below, but cannot access the verses. I'm not having this trouble with other buttons. (Of course I could load the verses to my own collections, but I'd like to work on them with the group.) Thanks for your help -- and for the great effort you gave putting all these passages on here for us!
Organization of verses, encouragement to press on, prayer... it’s like any group. we all have to individual run our race but it is a little easier when there are others beside you.
I’m new to this app, so in the groups everyone just memorizes on their own? Whats the point of the group then lol
just finished memorizing Psalms 4🙏

psalm 87,88,94,96,97&98 have been added. sorry for the tardiness and the lack of monitoring. I need to update my account so I get notifications when you all post. Happy memorizing in 2018.
Hey guys, I did find another group that has all of the Psalms if there is one you are looking for that isn't here. The only thing is that one psalm is listed as a single passage. Nice for review but not the easiest for learning. You could always do verse by verse in your own collection then transfer to the full passage once done and delete your learning verses.

Thank you Jesus I finally memorized Psalm 2. I didn't think I would ever get versed 10-12.
and also 95, I appreciate your work!
Hey, You have missed Psalm 138... :D
how do I get my picture in there?
New to this group. how does it work? do we help memorize together?
URGENT!! I seriously have to WARN YOU!! The KJV BIBLE has been CHANGED! (Look up the #MandelaEffect) The Lords Prayer in the KJV is not correct anymore in the KJV (how we remember "tresspasses" changed to "debts" and "those who tresspass against us" changed to "our debtors" and "ON earth" in Mt6,10 changed to "IN earth" - look it up!!!) and John8:32 has changed, as well as Isaiah11,6 changed from "Lion and Lamb will live together" to "Wolve(s) and lamb will live together"
Check out the Mandela-Effect-Wiki for more Information! http://mandela-effect-wiki.tk
See here the page concerning changes in Bible-Translations: http://mandela-effect.bplaced.net/doku.php?id=changes_in_bible-translations_overview
PS: i'm not joking, i'm totally serious!
PPS: even wikipedia censors this topic... (see discussion on startpage in the wiki)
Hello Everyone! I guess I'm the Newbie here! 😊Thanks so much for allowing me to be part of this group!
sorry don't know how to erase one of 117
all recent requests added ( I think). if I have missed yours please let me know. I am not sure about the two 117 as they don't show up as two for me.
Hey thanks for making this group!! I was kinda wanting a group like this. And could you add 102?
Oh, sorry - 132 also. No rush! I see we have two 117 collections.
Think that just leaves 129 and 130, no rush at all though!
All the 120's have been added now.
71 has been added now, Enjoy. Sorry Higher Ground Mom I missed your request earlier. I will get to it.
Could we have the rest of the Psalms of Ascent added? That's between 120-134. I think that will be my next Psalm project to tackle :).
Hey thanks! but where do I find show my profile
@ Cameron Click on 'show my profile' and from there you can click 'edit profile' and thereon you can upload your pic. Please do join our scripture facebook group so that we can help you better here's the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/1435112676705546
I need a little help with this app. Does anyone know how to change my picture? I don't like the dove looking thing on my picture
Hi, new member here! I have several Psalms memorized, and love the idea of learning more as part of this group. As you have time, can you add Psalms 62 and 86?
I have also added Psalm 119 from the Psalm 119 group for those who want it all in one place. If you already have done it in the Psalm 119 group and add it here it will be marked off as done so you will have no double ups. I just added the ESV one but you can change it to what ever version you desire. Thanks Rebekah for that tip.
Chapters 36, 38 and 40 have been added.
Would you be able to add chapter 40 when you have the chance?. No hurry. It's a chapter I'm familiar with and want to memorize some day. Thanks so much!
Thanks so much for adding those chapters! :)
116&134 have been added. Sorry about the long delay.
Here's the recording of Psalm 2. Took atleast 6 months to cement into my heart http://youtu.be/zwmnlLEto0o
I'm recording all the verses I have memorized. And here's the video of Psalm 1 memorized by me. Would be encouraged if you guys also record videos of what you have memorized. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMI56pCANzc
Thanks for all the Psalms you've added. When you get a chance, would you be able to add Psalm 116 and Psalm 134? No hurry as I have plenty of other Scriptures to work on. Psalm 116 has been a blessing to me recently, and I would love to memorize it.
Thanks :), I lost my stride for a while, but I'm caught up on review work now! :)
Hi, please add 123. Thanks
Ok - thanks. I've now found the Psalm 119 group.
I don't think it should be added here. Adding same set of verses from different groups will only manipulate the rankings. The Romans project itself is an example.
Any possibility Psalms 119 could be added to this group?
deleted all verses of Chapter 1 and mastered them again. Worked like charm! thanks :)
mmm that is strange, they are in the collection. You could either delete the collection and then add it again or just add those verses to the collection, they are grouped as 4-6. Anyone else have that issue?
Kerrilyn please add remaining verses of Psalm 1. it shows Psalm 1:1-3. Can't see Psalm 1:4-6
@ HigherGroundMom I know that you are busy with you are very well involved in the process of your father's surgery. Praying for your father. Do review the scriptures when you have time. There is healing in memorizing the scriptures.
Thanks for the 140s! :). I should be busy for a while now!
I think I have added all requests to date. Please remind me if I have missed yours :)
Thanks for adding 48 etc. Kerrilyn!
Could you also please add 141, 144, and 147 when you have the chance? :). No rush!
Thanks! I know it's not prayer requests as I haven't posted any (though I have plenty), but I don't know if I've prayed 75 times, but perhaps I have. (I mean, I pray everyday, but I don't know that I've clicked that many people's prayed button.)
I thought it was how many times you had prayed for others?
Never mind - my number's still there... except it's actually 11. Maybe it's representing requests you've prayed for?
Yes, so I heard, but that doesn't quite make sense because for a while I had the number 12 under mine, but now it's gone again... I think... And I haven't posted any requests on ST *shrugs*
@ mom2five Those are number of prayer requests by you.
I just noticed numbers on the bottom left of our profile pictures. Anyone know what those numbers mean?
They actually got me started with Ephesians 1, and I have finally gotten a toehold on some of chapter 2 (same Ephesians group you are on, I transferred my chapter 1 work there). They do a few smaller challenges each year (normally 1 chapter at a time, though from the looks of their website (Do Not Depart) they did all of Phillipians once. One OT, then one NT etc. So after Isaiah 55 there should be another one from the NT coming up (no idea what!)
Thanks Higher Ground Mom. I probably won't join the group since I have all those passages in other groups. I joined an Isaiah group (which has chapter 55) http://scripturetyper.com/Group/View/c94d7cec07/ but haven't yet typed any verses from those
There is NO rush for these, but I want to post them before I forget! 48, 50, 85, 103. That would be the rest of the Psalms on the bibleinsong YouTube that aren't listed yet. I'm having good success with those song videos :).
Here they are, I memorized Isaiah 55 with them.
http://scripturetyper.com/Group/View/d8b5b0f3d1/
Review does add up! I don't think I could keep on top of keeping it fresh without ST, thankful for it.
Thanks for adding chapters. (Sometime I hope to do chapter 45, too.) The more you memorize, the more to review! But that's what I like about this program--constantly reviewing I have to be careful, however, not to spend too much time on the computer (even if it is memorization) @ Higher Ground Mom what is the Hide my Word group you mentioned in earlier comments?
Hope you are feeling better, Kerrilyn! Thank you! Also, I found one of your book reviews on a scripture memory book on Amazon very helpful yesterday!
They have been added now ladies. Sorry about the delay, I have been quite sick.
If you could add 137, I'd really appreciate it :).
Psalm 46, lovely KJV: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hp92BRoSbtU
Well, I tried again, but it still won't give me the last 3 verses. I think it's because they are laid out differently on the two groups. :)
Psalm 37 is a great chapter whenever you get a chance to add it. Thanks so much!
Hey HigherGroundMom I think that doubling thing is fixed. Even I thought entering into Hide my Word group with Ephesians would make me to revise twice in two groups but it doesn't happen like that. I just added Ephesians 1 in Hide my word group which I already done in Ephesians group and it just put me on the charts. And the revision things done on either group will count in both. I think you must have another try because I didn't get to type verses twice because I have added the same set of verses from two groups. Just have another try.
So, what is everyone working on now? I'm tackling Psalm 9 for the upcoming week. I *hope* to get a start on Ephesians 2 and to continue working on a list of 108 verses (mostly stand alone) that I'm memorizing. I finally finished Genesis 1:1-2:3 this week (I hate having partially memorized passages that keep nagging me to wrap them up!) So, maybe I can keep it to three projects this time - a Psalm, an Epistle chapter, and a stand alone verse. I'll try to stay with that for a few months and see if it helps me stay focused better.
I just finished Psalm 7 and Psalm 101 (which I had known part of for a while, i just wrapped it up this week). I did Ephesians 1 with the Hide group last year and Isaiah 55 this year (finished it a couple of weeks ago - great chapter). I removed my Ephesians 1 verses from that group though, and transferred them over to the group doing all of Ephesians. The verses are arranged a bit differently so it would have counted double for the same set of verses if I kept them on both groups. I want to keep my ST verse count free from duplicates, but it can be tricky sometimes :) So only my Isaiah verses show there (and it is a short chapter!) So, I won't ever be on top there again :).
HI HigherGroundMom Nice to see you racing to the top. Good work. I was busy with the famous Hide My Word group and there I'm on position 1. Isaiah 55 is a very easy chapter. I hope you can come up there to the top. Will try to memorize few psalms to keep up the tempo with you.
Yes, it does!! Thanks so much! I just started that Psalm :).
Whoops, sorry about that, I obviously didn't do a very good job double checking. I have added it in, but does it show up for you?
Thanks for adding the verses!
Exciting news! Looks like Ray Harris at Pneusong is done setting all 150 Psalms to music in KJV. Also, all 150 are available here: http://www.psalmistyle.com/sound-1.htm
Just found that site and VERY excited about it.
And the family at Pilgrimpromo.com has some acapella style that are rather lovely.
Welcome, fellow Psalm memorizer :)!
Would you add Psalm 73 and 143 whenever you get a chance? No hurry, I'm starting Philippians this week, and working full-time really limits the time I can spend on Scripture memory. But there are a couple verses I would like to eventually learn in those chapters. Thanks so much!
You are so sweet, thank you for taking the time to add them!!
I admire your steadfastness. I'm a bit flighty and have a hard time focusing on only two passages! I memorized Ephesians 1 and it was excellent!
I'm concentrating only on two groups now. One is Psalms group and the other one is Ephesians. Ephesians is also a very good epistle for memorization. It really sharpens your brain. I think when I have done with Ephesians then Psalms would be more easy for me.
I'd REALLY love to memorize all the Psalms, but I'm only 13% or so in (I have 119 in for that count). It's a multiple year project!
It IS exciting to have WK416 join us! I'd like to make the top 100 some day as well, it takes a lot of verses! I'm at 133 right now when I'm on top of all my verses. Mom2five is already way up there :).
Hi HighergroundMom It seems that you will overtake me one day. I hope it won't happen. I'm trying my best to put myself on top with all pains of my surgery. I can see new bible bee WK416 coming up on charts. Nice healthy competition going on here. My aim is to beat that top 100. Now I'm on #164
Could you please add 11, 12, 13, 14, and 20? No rush, But I think I will hit 11 in 2-3 weeks :).
FYI, Lee Miller has three albums of Psalm songs in KJV, you can find his work on iTunes. He does 10 Psalms per album, 1-30. I memorized his Psalm 8 music and I'm now working on Psalm 6 with his recording.
Could you please add 120?
Glad to hear recovery is going well! Will continue to pray.
@ HigherGroundMom There is long Plaster of
Paris bound to my left leg and it's bit painful. Hopefully I would be able to walk in 2-3 months. Even the docs were surprised by my early recovery. Thanks for prayers.
How is your knee doing? I see you have some verses going again! :)
Thanks so much! Could you add 101 and 61?
i had a bike accident. Leg injury. My knee joint has fracture. Surgery on Monday. Please pray I recover soon and join again. Mom2five you are on the top now. :)
To all memorize scriptures and grow in the Lord
Please add Psalms 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7
Would you be able to add Psalm 25?
Is anyone learning a new Psalm right now? I'm currently working on 118.
WOW! Ray Harris is attempting to set the entire Bible to song. I've never heard of his site before today, but it is incredible. Most notably (for me), he has set each of Psalms 1-60 to song as well as 89 and 130 so far!!
http://www.pneusong.com/music
Thanks! Could we get 3-6? I just fnshed 121 with the lovely music n this site: http://www.pursuinglife.com/scripture-songs.php and I'm going to start learning their Psalm 3 music.
...and there's more...if you have any other particular chapters you want added let me know and I will work on them when I can.
Thank you so much! That is all I am up to for now, but I am definitely planning on memorizing more Psalms as well :). Maybe I can find songs for the ones on the group I don't know yet. Psalm 8 looks very good!
Thanks, Kerrilyn, for adding the extra chapters. I do hope you continue to add more as you have time. There are so many more great chapters to memorize (Psalm 15-16 19, 42, 46, 84, 90, 145). Well, actually, there are too many to list! You wouldn't have to list chapter 119, however, since there's already a Psalm 119 group.
I should have typed 131, not 133! Short and sweet :).
More chapters have been added :)
Is there a way to add more verses to the group? I already know Psalms 2, 127, 128, 133, most of 151, and I'm new to the site, but I'd like to add them to my review schedule here :).
Hello! The Psalms are my favorite verses to memorize :).
Morning fellow memorisers. Like you all I want to memorise this book and retain it. In my hunt for the best way to approach this I came across this book written nearly 100 years ago by a man who actually memorised the whole Bible...it is very comprehensive, though not long, and I am sure you will all gain someting from it. You can view it free here http://memorizethebible.com/ Press onward toward the goal. :)
