Family Fall Festival

Saturday, Nov 24, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Join us for a day of fall fun at Akron Fossils & Science Center! It's after Thanksgiving and you've eaten, you've shopped and now it's time for family fun. Activities throughout the day include sack races, face-painting, a live animal show, fossil replica demos, holiday chemistry demo, and more. We open at 10 am. Festival activities begin at noon.

Akron Fossils & Science Center is hosting their 8^th annual fundraiser on November 3^rd at Northside Christian Church. There will be a meal, thruout which will be held a silent and oral auction. After the meal and auctions, live entertainment will be held.

@Christ's HandmaidenI think it will be somewhat useful to have this group on Scripture Typer. I understand that it's not going to be a huge advertisement, but it might introduce a few new people to AF&SC. I sent out an e-mail (via the Scripture Typer Post Office) to everyone in RRLC that is not from HRBC. Since those people are fairly close to the center, they might get interested. In addition, if many fans join, more people could get to know each other. I'm hoping that at least some new people will be introduced to it and that people that are not in HRBC will also join. That's the "experimental" purpose. :-)

I'm curious about what is the purpose of this group? Is it just to have a page for AFSC? I guess I don't see much of a point to have a page for them on Scripture Typer! Just curious...
