Some of my review verses this morning: Romans 10:12-14 KJV - "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
🌺 Happy Sabbath, everyone! 🙏❤
I am especially thankful this Thanksgiving for our good health, a loving church family, the blessings we take for granted such as plenty to eat, my sweet cat Pepper (14 now!), and God the Father Who loves us so much that He gave us Jesus to die for our sins so that we will not have to. And I love and appreciate all of the beautiful creation that God gave us to enjoy. Be blessed everyone! God loves you.
Verses from my review that put trials in perspective: Psalm 119:71, 75-76 KJV - "It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn Thy statutes. I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are right, and that Thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Let, I pray Thee, Thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Thy word unto Thy servant."

Memorizing the word of God is a tremendous blessing when we take it seriously! Here are some of my review verses this morning which include a few of my thoughts: Proverbs 28:2, 4-5 KJV - "For the transgression of a land [the US] many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge [Trump] the state thereof shall be prolonged [God is holding back the winds of strife until His Saints are sealed]. They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things."
Hi everyone! How are you doing with your memorizing? Are you continuing to instill the word of God in your minds? 😲🙏
🌺 Happy Sabbath everyone! 🙏😄🍂🍃
Some of my favorite verses: Proverbs 30:24-28 KJV - "There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces."
Our worship time was so special. Besides the subject matter in the SS lesson and sermon, the man that tells the children's story had some friends bring their pet opossum for his Creature Feature. It was so fun to see that beautiful little animal! We always eagerly anticipate what interesting topic he will share. He has brought a small raccoon, a baby owl, and a pine (gopher) snake recently. What a blessing his presentations have been. And he knows all the Latin names!
My husband and I have duties at church today. I will be leading both song services and he will be doing Superintendent remarks. It is becoming cool and foggy here in the Northwest. I do not think that the roads will be icy yet, but the days are coming. We have a 40 minute drive to church. Happy Sabbath!
Another recent memory verse: Psalm 20:6-9 KJV - "Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will hear him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD: let the King hear us when we call."
Also: Colossians 3:8-13 KJV - "But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."
I had the delight of receiving counsel again through a few of my favorite memory verses this morning: Psalm 118:4-8 KJV - "Let them now that fear the LORD say, that His mercy endureth forever. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

"Prayer is a heaven-ordained means of success." In Heavenly Places 75:1.
Why do beavers rest EVERY Sabbath? video on YouTube. A strange silence is observed over the Sabbath (Saturday). A hush falls over all their activities at sundown every Friday evening without fail. And this is regarding every beaver around the world, regardless of the season. Sunday mornings, they begin their work again. https://youtu.be/uZ-Sz7fLyf0?si=NeLvyc8eRwzBo8W9
I have several things to do on this Preparation Day: dishes and cooking, some yard work, and last minute bits and pieces. What kind of things do you have to do to prepare for the Sabbath of the Lord?
🌺 Happy Sabbath everyone! 🙏❤
2 John 1:6 KJV - "And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it."
Isaiah 59:17, 18 KJV - "For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon His head; and He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, fury to His adversaries, recompence to His enemies; to the islands He will repay recompence."
I love the comforting message of these verses: Psalm 27:9-14 KJV say, "Hide not Thy face far from me; put not Thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. Teach me Thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
🌺 Happy Sabbath everyone! 🙏❤🙏

Ephesians 4:14-15 KJV - "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"
Hi everyone. Hope you and yours are well! This series is starting tonight at 7:00 p.m. (PST). You can catch it on YouTube after it airs. Pastor Doug Batchelor always is very interesting:

Words of wisdom from my review this morning: Proverbs 2:10-11 - "When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee."
I understand about diverse projects. May God continue to guide you daily. 😄
May God bless your efforts!
Been working on other projects. Thank you for your concern, sister! @PBK: Are you still active? We are getting closer to the end. My friend believes that the 6000 year time period will end in 2027. We know Jesus will cut "the time short in righteousness." I pray that we will be ready to go home when He comes. Keep the faith.
Hello. Are you still active?
@Everybody: Time is very short. Things are wrapping up in the world very quickly. The devil is accelerating his agenda like never before. Make your peace with God and decide Whom you're going to serve. I'm talking to myself as well. Don't wait! 😔🙏
We just watched the powerful testimony of Dr. Phodidas Ndamyumugabe, originally from Rwanda. He has a PhD from Weimar University. His testimony is called "The Power of the Story." This was the second sermon for the TRIALS TO TRIUMPH program for the AFY Amazing Facts Youth Conference Day Two on YouTube. He wrote a book called "Preaching from the Grave," a book about the genocide of the Tutsis, and how he survived the slaughter only with prayer, and the powerful answers from God. It's on Kindle as an e-book for $7.99 or you can visit PreachingFromTheGrave.com to order it.
1 John 4:2-3 says, "Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
A new series by Pr Doug Batchelor begins tonight. He wrote the book THE RICHEST CAVEMAN. The series is on Amazing Facts TV on YouTube. It's called "Inspiration: The Bible's Greatest Stories!" The series is going to be held at Paradise Church in Las Vegas.
Wow. There's not much activity on here.
I just wanted to let you know that we can help your group become more active by sharing many of our collections to peak interest in your group. Just let us know at FINAL EVENTS SDA. 🖐😀
Hi folks! I just wanted to let you know that my Final Events SDA group message wall is back up and running! Thank you so much for all your prayers and patience while we endured such a long process to get the broken issues fixed. Like I've said before, we wouldn't develop patience if we didn't have situations like this to exercise our patience! God bless you and yours! 🙏🖐😃🙏💕
Revelation 11, 18: Let all who would understand the meaning of these things read the eleventh chapter of Revelation. Read every verse, and learn the things that are yet to take place in the cities. Read also the scenes portrayed in the eighteenth chapter of the same book. - Manuscript Releases, vol. 21 [Nos. 1501-1598], p. 91.4
Daniel 12: Let us read and study the twelfth chapter of Daniel. It is a warning that we shall all need to understand before the time of the end.—Manuscript Releases 15:228 (1903).
Daniel 1: This chapter was not written for no purpose. We have no right to read it as an idle tale, as merely a curious item of history. It stands there to teach us the way of knowledge, yet how few of us think of it! It is a constant witness against our foolishness. If we do not have knowledge, how can we excuse ourselves with that record before us? The God who is no respecter of persons will give us understanding, as well as He did to those youths, if we but place ourselves unreservedly in His hands, to do His will. If any man willeth to do His will, he shall know. This story ought to be committed to memory, and meditated upon daily. Shall we not give ourselves to the acquirement of true wisdom? (The Present Truth, vol. 15 June 29, 1899, page 404 paragraph 1)
Nahum 1:7: While searching for a verse for Willie, I opened to these words, which Willie committed to memory to repeat in Sabbath-school: “The Lord is good. A strong hold in the time of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in him.” [Nahum 1:7.] At these words I wept, they seemed so appropriate. The whole burden on my mind was for you, and the church in Wisconsin. (Letters and Manuscripts — Volume 1 (1844 - 1868), Lt 13, 1860, par. 9)
John 13-17: I feel intensely when I read and dwell upon the subjects contained in the 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th chapters of John. These lessons are of deep import and need to be studied and even committed to memory. The richest promises are found here. I am pained when I see so little real, genuine piety among Seventh-day Adventists, when we have had so great light. We must be more diligent searchers of the Word, that we may speak a word in season to the oppressed, the sorrowful, the afflicted. We must keep the mind as a storehouse of truth from which to draw the richest consolation to impart to others who are ready to perish. “Thus saith the Lord” and “It is written” should be ever upon our lips, and our souls should be like a natural garden whose waters fail not, refreshing all who are around us. Let us read the Bible and study the meanings of every word. (Letters and Manuscripts — Volume 6 (1889-1890), Ms 42, 1890, par. 19)
Psalm 34: Let this chapter be read and committed to memory. Precious is the Word of the Lord. If we will take these precious lessons to heart, and cut away all this nasty, passionate speech, all these cheap words that are full of levity, if we will empty the mind, cleanse the soul temple, and invite the heavenly Guest to come in, there will be no question as to whether we shall impart grace for grace. With sinners, that sanctified mind and heart will be a powerful influence. The fruit will testify of the character of the tree. (Letters and Manuscripts — Volume 12 (1897), Ms 70, 1897, par. 67)
Psalm 1: The words in the first Psalm need to be committed to memory. (Letters and Manuscripts — Volume 12 (1897), Ms 144, 1897, par. 20)
John 1:1-5,14: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only-Begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Would that everyone whose name is written in the church books could from the heart utter these words. The church members need to know from experience what the Holy Spirit will do for them. It will bless the receiver, and make him a blessing. It is sad that every soul is not praying for the vital breath of the Spirit, for we are ready to die if it breathe not on us. {TM 63.3}
John 17: I pray that now as never before both ministers and church members may come up to the help of the Lord, to the help of the Lord against the mighty powers of darkness. Study prayerfully the seventeenth chapter of John. This chapter is not only to be read again and again; its truths are to be eaten and assimilated. {8T 80.1}
Isaiah 51: The whole of the fifty-first chapter of Isaiah is worthy of close, earnest study, and we would do well to commit it to memory. It has a special application to those who are living in the last days. {RH 1896-12-01.1}
1 Corinthians 12 and 13:
The 12th and 13th chapters of 1st Corinthians should be committed to memory, written in the mind and heart. Through His servant Paul, the Lord has placed before us these subjects for our consideration, and those who have the privilege of being brought together in church capacity will be united, understandingly and intelligently. The figure of the members which compose the body represents the church of God and the relation its members should sustain to one another (MS 82, 1898). {6BC 1090.13}
Isaiah 53: Prophecy foretold that Christ was to appear as a root out of dry ground. “He hath no form nor comeliness,” wrote Isaiah, “and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” This chapter should be studied. It presents Christ as the Lamb of God. Those who are lifted up with pride, whose souls are filled with vanity, should look upon this picture of their Redeemer, and humble themselves in the dust. The entire chapter [Isaiah 53] should be committed to memory. Its influence will subdue and humble the soul defiled by sin and uplifted by self-exaltation. {4BC 1147.3}
Isaiah 58:
The mind must be restrained, and not allowed to wander. It should be trained to dwell upon the Scriptures; even whole chapters may be committed to memory, to be repeated when Satan comes in with his temptations. The fifty-eighth of Isaiah is a profitable chapter for this purpose. {GW92 418.2}
Psalms 19:1-3
God calls upon teachers to behold the heavens and study the works of God in nature. [Ps. 19:1-3 quoted.] Shall we not commit to memory the lessons nature teaches? {3BC 1143.6}
Exodus 20:1-17:
Says the psalmist, “The law of the Lord is perfect.” How wonderful in its simplicity, its comprehensiveness and perfection, is the law of Jehovah! It is so brief that we can easily commit every precept to memory, and yet so far-reaching as to express the whole will of God and to take cognizance, not only of the outward actions, but of the thoughts and intents, the desires and emotions, of the heart. {ML 163.3}
Revelation 14:6-20:
In these last days it is our duty to ascertain the full meaning of the first, second, and third angels’ messages. All our transactions should be in accordance with the Word of God. The first, second, and third angels’ messages are all united and are revealed in the fourteenth chapter of Revelation from the sixth verse to the close.—Manuscript Releases 13:68 (1896).
