yeaqh, i think Minecraft is better for that reason. it may be addictive, but it is more versatile so you can use your mind in different ways
@Noah Yes EvE is free but it is what you would call a "Mobile game", basically wanting you to pay money to get anywhere fast in the game. Also there has been many addictions associated with it.
