Muriel- I often have trouble viewing the new verses. I would have to be looking at your phone in order to help you figure it out. But it matters which pathway you follow to access them. Try pushing different buttons to get to the verses and going by different routes

If I go to the Review section, I can pull up those verses, I've already attempted. Not sure it will allow me to pick and choose sub-folders etc...to try.
I am only able to access the verses as a whole in descending order of least worked on. I can no longer choose subfolders. But, after a few tries am still able to get the older ones memorized still....
There are a few KJV verses that are different than what seems natural for me to say. I've got some catching up to do, but also enjoying my devotional and reading plan.

I did a total reset, and see the barred lines under the check marks is where I can adjust the frequency, but I can't seem to adjust or am likely doing something wrong.
It still acts like I haven't paid for the upgrade, but my credit card shows that I did. is there a way to contact them?
My verses are still showing overdue, but they shouldn't if I set it to 3 weeks.
I paid for an upgrade, but on my settings I have it to review every 3 weeks. However, do I have to reset it? There is a reset on the settings that says I won't lose my verses I believe.

Great application! It's really just a matter of seeking God daily in whatever situation He places us. We tend to want to make our own plans work at all costs.
True, Jim! And we might sometimes think that God can't take care of our situations. But He only utters His voice and big things happen! Our circumstances are no issue for Him to change if He wants to. It's our heart's that are the challenge for Him to change...because we have a free will. Through the circumstances He gives us, He wants our hearts to beat for Him! I pray to learn to be moldable clay!

I think there may be timing delay so maybe it was just momentarily as never had that happen before. I didn't go back to check, but now all are due again.
I'm not sure what you mean about 11 verses. When I look at your name it shows 40 for you. But actually John 1:1-2 have been put in there twice and there should only be 38 verses total.
Not sure if a glitch or just the timing of my review, but all 40 are in green, but it only counted 11 verses.
Oh, I have lots of surrendering too. I'm a work in progress, but it all comes with our life experiences, and what God teaches us in each moment.
Yes, I would say that I have definitely grown since being at Colonial. But like Jim said about Teresa's father...it all depends on how surrendered I am. That's what God is after....people who will say, "Not my will, but His." I still have a lot of surrendering to do. 😳

Hey all
Just saw the posts. Two things which I'm still trying to figure out, but maybe not a true proper use of the app???. Initially, it seemed one day, I was trying to reach a higher level, and it just seemed it kept going so I kept going. Then, more recently I toggled between step 1 and 3, so that one probably not a true use of the app though I kept going over the verse until I got it perfect. I kept thinking I might risk forfeiting all the points that round, but it never did that I could see. So, yesterday I went back to look quickly at step one, and jump to step 3 with no further toggle. I went once per verse, and made more errors or typos. At some point, I maxed out something and was unable to pull up the last 5 verses. In my review, some are out of order. So, one I'd say more review is
needed, but two I'm thinking dock me half my points as probably not a proper use of app.

It now shows 25 verses. Must have a time delay, but I still have a double set of the Psalm 46 verses though it doesn't seem to be effecting things that I can tell.

Jim sends an email every Sunday to tell us what to work on. Those verses are "due" the following Sunday. Due this Sunday are the last 3 verses of Psalm 46. But if you want to work on others in the "Introduction" section, feel free. We have already done those in the Introduction, but those who join after we officially started, will probably have to just jump in wherever we are at the time. Otherwise they would never get caught up. We thought it would work better if we are all working on the same verses at the same time. I think new verses will be coming out this Sunday. Does that make sense?
Are we still sticking to just the Psalm 46 verses or can we add more in? Granted, I'm still working on perfecting the Psalm verses, but getting there...

I've got my points up, and reached level 9. It will eventually limit the reviews and give an extra 25 points I believe. I'm better at verses 7-11, and can get verse 1. Some of the other verses, I can get parts, but still jumbled.
you can review as often as you like even if it's not time yet and that will help to boost your points
I think I understand the app. better each time. My competitive side says I may have to see how many review rounds it will allow to get the points up. I'm rounding out the pack, but focused on Psalm 46, and John 17:17.

Ok, so when I try to do each verse more from memory, then the review time is less. I went to step 1, but then quickly jumped to step 3. It gave a max of 7 points on some, and then another review or 2 rounds will add 1 or 2 points. Then, it stops with the reviews.

I think you can adjust the verse review time under settings. there's also a place called instructions somewhere but I can never seem to remember how to get there. Just poke around. I guess I'm not exactly sure how to answer your question. Gym do you know better than me?

When you reach a certain level how many times does it review a verse? I thought my phone would run out of battery. Does it do it less if you set each verse to 3 with no prompts? Just curious, but boy did my score raise....just got to be more consistent daily...

yeah but we were all too chicken to say our versus last night in church! I might decide to try and push ahead to the end to see if I can say it sll next week on Wed night. We should at least all be willing to raise our hands next week when he asks and say what we know! Who will be brave with me?😃
