Our Mission Compass is one church with multiple locations. Our mission is Navigating People to God. Wherever you are in your journey, we want to partner with you to take your next step. Creator of the Universe (Genesis 1:1). One, existing as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 10:30; Titus 3:4-6). All humanity has sinned - willfully rebelling against God (Romans 3:10, 23). The Grace of God saves humanity from its sinful condition through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-26). Throughout eternity, we will either exist separated from God in Hell due to our sinful rebellion, or in union with God in Heaven due to the forgiveness and salvation that accompany faith in Jesus Christ (Matthew 13:40-43; Revelation 21:3-5). Founded on the day of Pentecost, consisting of all Christians everywhere (Acts 2:1-47; Ephesians 4:4-6). Church Practices Baptism: Believers mark their faith in Jesus by being immersed in water as taught and exemplified in the Bible. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38). Communion: Taken each week in remembrance of the body and blood of Jesus Christ (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28). Church Leadership A board of elders oversee all the affairs of the church (1 Timothy 3:1-7).
