Hi. Don't mind me. I'm just a 55 yr old empty nester married mom of 9 who likes to go to the bottom of the group list and join the end groups to help out and encourage. Please let me know of any prayer requests and I will check back to get them. Great list of verses here, but ;) Who is Boone?
Also, I'd like to extend an invitation to check out Bible Believers Fellowship in Worthington Ohio if you're local, and/or the livestream and plethora of great teachings at bbfohio.com. It's all free. If you keep scrolling down on the site, you will see some teach teachings about why it's important to stick to the old book, the KJV. The one our church fathers were martyred over and which the enemy has been thinking he needed to 'improve' on what God said under the guise of 'updating the language'...all the while causing doubt and confusion. There were corrupted texts that were used for these newer so called versions that are all about changing it just enough to get a copywrite so they can make money. A KJV can be picked up at Dollar Tree. You could print it out at home and pass out copies all you want without fear of being sued. It's great for memorization because those words that are unique stick in your brain. And all you need is to let the Bible define itself to understand them(which it usually does just a few words or verses after the antiquated word). And the Noah Webster's 1828 dictionary is based on that Bible. Also, David Hunt made a little booklet that also defines a lot of those words which you can tuck into the back of your Bible. This issue is really worth checking out for yourself. I used the Living Bible, The NIV, The ESV, and the NLT before learning about this stuff just a few years ago. And I got saved at 17. I'm just talking about the Bible for English speakers. But there are translations from the KJV into other languages also. Our church buys these to send to those around the world who have never held a Bible in their hands . Don't you think it's a little selfish that there are so many so called translations in English when some have NO translation? Anyhow, I'll get off my soapbox. Just be a Berean, and may God richly bless you.
