You'll be able to get this year's verses on June 1st by clicking the Bible Bee Shield at the top right of the website. There's also a getting started video there with lot's of info on using Scripture Typer for Bible Bee verses. This year, only Bible Bee verses will be counted in the group rankings. All of our stats will reset on June 1st and only this years verses will be counted. Happy Memorizing!
Yes, I am not doing it because I am so busy. I do not know what local group he will go to. and as to wether he will try to make it to the nationals, I think so but he is doing a lot this year for college schollarships and clep tests so I am not sure how much time he will be able to devote to it.

We just got an email saying that they were using the cards instead of the bible, so I guess you were right. Next, I am planning on making it to the nationals as is Seth, and maybe Joel.
We asked a rep on the Bible Bee site. I'm sure that they know what they're doing....though, does Seth have any other info about it all? We asked because we were cofused about it all as well. Next question, are you all planning on making it to Nationals :) -Bethany
I let Seth know, and he said "In the case of such a contradiction in the suggested regulations for the National Bible Bee, I cordially sugesst that you consult the rulebook, under 'General Structure and Rules', page 7, article 7, sentence 5, and NOT at the asterik at the bottom." I hate when he talks like that.

Nope, nope. They switched stuff around...you have to go by your cards and not by the Bible!! You'll need to know this, that way you don't learn all the wrong words. On 2 Timothy 16-17 this says "that the man of God may be COMPETENT..." (like the bible bee cards) instead of COMPLETE, which is how it should be recited.
what method do you use for memorizing? I have tried a few different methods but haven't found any that work especially well for me.

This is for finding cross-references -- http://www.openbible.info/labs/cross-references/ This is for Biblos -- http://biblos.com/ This is for if you own a Studen Study Bible -- www.esvbible.org E-Sword is also a grea thing to us; and then just reading commentaries and what other people thought about the book is helpful too. After you review a verse once, you don't have to review it for 2 days, and I am not sure about after you review it twice etc. Next, I do not have Logos, and I have used quizzlet a little bit, and I am planning on using it this year.(What does SS mean). Any more links would be helpful :D
I just rezlized, that after you memorize a verse on here, you have to review it the next day, that's why it dropped us! Just in case you didn't know. Also, I don't know if I'll be able to be on here everyday...I'm really busy! Next, thanks for bringing us back up! Next thing...I'm planning on memorizing 2 Timothy as well -- and cross-references from the SS. I have a lots and lots of links to place that have helped me with Bible Bee...do you want them all? Also, if you have Logos, you should use that...it's really helpful! Are you on Quizlet? I have more to share, if you like :)
Sorry I didn't notice your post below about memorizing bible bee verses. but to answer that question, I dont have any specific time I am trying go memorize all my verses by (Eccept the Bible Bee of course) I am mainly going to be focousing on the 2nd Timothy an slowly memorizing my verses, and as to any other sites that have helped me, there havent been any that I have found, but if you find any, especially in regards to 2nd Timothy be sure to let me know.

Well, it is just the 4th day into Bible Bee, so, technically, you don't have to have lots memorized. When are you trying to finish all your verses? I'm aiming for the end of the week :) hopefully, I'll be able to work on here some more. Any other sites that have helped you in Bible Bee? Challenges are nice, and since I'm kind of competitave, they are lots of fun for me! Hopefully, by the end of the week, we'll be #1 on the BB leaderboard :) -Bethany
No that's Joel he is my twin brother. No there are no others that I know of, in fact I was just about to ask you the same thing. I have not memorized many of the Bible Bee verses, so I probably will not be helping much more today, but by tomorrow I hope to have a lot more memorized, and hopefuly Seth will join soon to.I like the friendly chalenge of trying to memorze more than anyone else, and so I will probably have more memorized soon.

B.T.W. you may have noticed but on the 2 Timothy 3:16-17 There is an error, it says Competent, while the bible says Complete.

I am the only one on Scripture typer currently, but most likely others will start using it soon.
And yes we do use the ESV.
Are any in your family on Scripture Typer?
I use ESV! I think that's what you all use to...right?
