We had our end of program picnic yesterday. I found out that we will not become certified Master Gardeners until our December get-together. Everyone should have all their volunteer hours and required Plant Clinics completed by then.
Only 6 more hours of Plant Clinic activities to do in my WSU course and I'll be certified as a Master Gardener. I have my 2nd clinic today (3 hours). 🙂
I finally got outside again yesterday to plant the final plants that I had. I still need to buy more but will wait until tomorrow. Today I will participate in a Plant Clinic (3 hours) for the Master Gardener program. I have finished all of the quizzes and the final exam, but have 9 hours of Plant Clinics to do to get certified as a Master Gardener. Then I will be completely done with the course, but will volunteer occasionally in different programs they have going on.
I got outside for a few minutes today, and snapped the tops off of all the dandelion flowers that I could see in my backyard. It is a temporary fix until I have time to do something about the weeds.
Still not out in the garden yet. Very windy today, and cold. And am working on our 50th wedding anniversary party. Master Gardener reading assignments, etc, has to wait a bit too.
Please pray for a very serious situation. I cannot explain the details on here. Let me just say that Satan is in the middle of it wanting to destroy multiple families. God knows the details. Just come to Him in prayer asking for His mercy, deliverance and protection. 😮
I have not done anything with my garden yet because it is still cold here, but my Master Gardener course is well underway at this time. We are studying about greenhouses. We have little space and no room for one, so I have not gotten into seed propagation. Are you able to do that?
Here is something you may like. This is a great message from a pastor with a PHD! 😄 https://youtu.be/0RORHGSsj1s?si=3KZUdqmcnBp4svOF
I have enjoyed gardening very much and have grown a large variety. Gardening is a way to provide for yourself and for your loved ones, and to stave off starvation during a time of famine. Unfortunately, not just a starvation of the Word is coming. People will also be going hungry. With a garden, we will have a way to feed our neighbors as well, and be a witness for the Lord. If all people have is room for pots, tomatoes are easy to grow. So are peppers, lettuce, pole beans, raspberries and strawberries (especially in our area of the Northwest).
FACT: Gardens are made with plants. Your welcome.
