Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;

Those of us who are looking for His appearing have some preparing to do, which is the main theme of this new collection, Last Days Before God's Return to Earth. 

This collection contains passages such:  Matthew 24, Revelationi 12-14, Daniel 7 - 9, and Hebrews 7,

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in his love, He will joy over thee with singing.

Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and His name one.

Hebrews 7:24-25 But this man, because He continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and His angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Some of the themes are: End time delusions, how to receive God's seal and avoid the mark of the "beast", identifying the "beast" and Babylon, Jesus as intercessor and high priest, and prophesies related to the second coming of Jesus and events just prior to God' appearinig in "the day of the Lord."

So, here is one method of using BibleMemory.com:

First, thank God for His word, the Bible, and for BibleMemory.com that helps us memorize His word. Ask God to help you in memorizing, and claim a promise, like Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you;, seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened unto you. Then, 

1. Type It three times.

2. Use Memorize It to type the verse six times, (3 times for each set of every other word.)

3. Try the Master It. 

4. If you don't master it, then start over at 1. but only type it once, then do the Memorize It twice. Then try the Master it again. 

Once a verse is mastered, lock it at review daily until you have thoroughly learned it. The review frequency can then be set to once a month. (If the review frequency is set to longer than monthly, and the verse has gone more than a month without reviewing it, that verse will not count toward your group points.)

For long passages another strategy is needed. Scripture Typer can simply be added to other ways of memorizing. In other words, Scripture Typer can be used as assessment and review for other memory exercises. 

So here is a method for memorizing Bible verses which does not use the computer:

A. Read the reference aloud (e.g. John 3:16). Read the whole verse. Say the reference again. Repeat this three times. (reference, verse, reference)

B. Read the reference and the first phrase aloud. Repeat this five times. (e.g. John 3:16 For God so loved the world). Then move on to the next prhase and say it five times (that He gave His only begotten Son). Do this until you have said all the phrases in the verse five times. 

C. Start at the beginning, and say the reference and the first phrase, and the next time add a prhase to it and say this five times (John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son). Continue adding phrases until you are able to say the whole verse. 

D. Then go to scripture Typer and use the three steps, Type It, Memorize It, Master It, as outlined above.

Martin Luther said of Romans, "The Epistle is really the chief part of the New Testament and the very purest gospel, and is worthy not only that every Christian should know it word for word, by heart, but occupy himself with it every day, as the daily bread of the soul."

So, here it is, the whole book of Romans, wiith verses grouped mainly by twos. Some of the key verses are:

The collection Romans - Gospel of Christ is in two groups: Soul Aerobics, and Whosoever Will. 

Romans tells us how to have victory over sin and how we may live in freedom through the grace of God. Some essential verses from Romans are:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:32 He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

The book of Galatians had been added as a collection to the group Whosoever Will. There are 149 verses in this book, which are grouped mainly in twos and threes. 

Some key verses in this book are:

Galatians 2:20-21 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Galatians 6:1-3 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

Galatiians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

For your verses to count toward the total group verses they must be reviewed at least once a month. This change occured in the spring of 2017 when they were trying to clean up the spurious groups which were misusing the system.

This pastorly letter was intented to help those who were preparing for the return of Christ. He wanted all the Christians to not fail of their goal of being followers of Christ, and of some day following Him to heaven. Some key passages is this collection are:

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12-13

The Freedom Ministry can be summed up in two words. "Absolute surrender!" When we trust God, we are in effect surrendering our will to Him. We seek Him first in all things.

Many of us spent a very long time trying to will our way into His grace. That's simply not how God works. God wants us to trust in Him, He wants us to surrender our will and lives to Him because our will is simply insufficient to do His will. We only need to accept His grace. 

The lies, that I told myself, and all the justification led me to drink and drug my way through life. I couldn't even look in the mirror, and I was a Christian for 15 years. I just couldn't seem to get what others had no matter how hard I tried. I tried, and tried to be better, but always failing, and with each failure it was as though God became more and more distant. Of course, that was the lie that I believed.

In a book called TrueFaces, it talks about a fork in the road where we have to choose the way between one of two rooms. The first is called, the room of good intentions and the other is the room of grace. You see, the room of good intentions allowed me to continue wearing a mask that hid who I really was, and it allowed me to continue trying to please God by doing things, some might call those things good works, but they were a lie because I thought if I could only please God he would give me what I lacked "Grace". The other room, the room of grace was a vulnerable room. I would have to "Trust" God, and others. There wasn't anything that I could do to please Him, because He was already pleased with me, and has always been pleased with me. Once I became a Christian it was a done deal, but I never trusted Him, I never turned to Him, enough to gave him control. I just thought if I can only have more faith, or if I can just do better in my good works he would love me. 

In the room of Grace, I learned that I don't have to do anything, because as soon as I surrendered my will to Him, He took complete control over my life. There was nothing I could do to please Him because He was already pleased with me. He has loved me before the world was even created. My sin wasn't something that stood in the way of His love. All the things that caused me to feel shame and self-loathing were for nothing. Jesus said, "He will never leave me, nor forsake me." The key word being "Never". He didn't say He would never leave me, or forsake me as long as I don't sin. No, He said "He will never leave me, or forsake me "Period."

Today, I am free of my addictions, and what's amazing is I am not responsible for it. I quit smoking after 47 years. I have no desire, or urge to drink or smoke. He did this for me. It wasn't my intention at all. Everything has changed, my thinking, my outlook on life, and my understanding of Him. It's all changed, and I didn't do a thing to make this happen. I simply woke up.

A matter of fact one night I was very drunk, my PTSD was raging and although I don't remember exactly what I prayed, but knowing me it went something like this.... "God please kill me" "I give up!" "I can't do this anymore!". The next morning I woke up, and it has been like someone else is living in me and guess what? Someone else is living in me, His name is Jesus. I don't worry anymore, I don't suffer from PTSD anymore, it's simply God at work in my life.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I still sin, just not as much, and I still react to some things, but not because of my thoughts, it's my body that reacts with surges of adrenalin. It's that fight or flight response, but when that happens I turn to God immediately, a matter of fact I always turn to God first, and I pray, and then simply listen to His instructions. It's that inner voice that He uses to speak to me. I go into His word, and He talks to me there too. I'll be eating out, and people in the booth next to me answer the question/s that I had asked Him earlier. I'm learning to see, and hear Him everywhere.

The key is "Surender!" He will give you amazing grace once you truly trust Him. Welcome to Freedom!
