This is something where every Bible Bee contestant who qualified for Nationals gets a prayer warrior assigned to them to pray for them every day. THE MV MEETING! Time 3:30pm, Wednesday, November 18,2015. End time is whenever we're all tired of each other. :P Location For now we'll say the hotel lobby, but as I get more info I may change that. Other Info I don't have a great camera, but I can bring a phone and we'll get group pictures. If anyone has a good actual camera, feel free to bring it if you want. Also any individual pics taken with MVers while at the meet-up don't count in the photo 'contest'. There may be some games played and we may or may not have a poster that we can all sign. =) Hope to see all MVers there! And if you aren't on MV feel free to sign up! :)

Memverse

There is an official Bible Bee practice test Saturday, July 11 and Saturday, July 18! It will be comprised of questions from last year's test. The Bible Bee emailed out all the information we need.

The 2015 Bible Bee Nationals will be held in San Antonio, Texas!

And they will be for the next three years!

Hello, I was just thinking that I would throw this out there, that our hive does a sort of prayer circle before the Bible Bee starts. All of the contestents get in a circle and each person prays in turn, for themself and for all of the other contestants. I was just curious if any of y'all do the same?

How about we do that here on Scripture Typer? Post prayers for the other Bible Bee contestants as a whole on the other BB group walls!

Why do you memorize Scripture?  Why should others memorize Scripture?

These are the questions I am trying to answer in my book.  I would like your help.  Adding your stories and thoughts could possibly change lives.  Are you willing to make this impact?

We are going to meet at 4:45 PM on Thursday. We will all be wearing our Memverse name tags. To receive the Memverse name tags please send me a message and I will email it to you. Just replace the text [Username] with your Memverse username. If you have any questions please contact me. We will be meeting in the room that connects to the hallway from the convention center. You might not know exactly where this is as some of you have not been here before but it is very easy to find and you will know what it is when you get there. If you don’t know exactly where this is just go to the hotel lobby (Stone Hill Lobby) a few minutes before that time and I’ll go there to find anyone who doesn’t know where to go. Once everyone is there we might move as that might not be the best place to do it. But I’m not sure yet…

Jordan Strang posted this great idea on Quizlet. PLEASE READ!!! "I thought it would be neat if we could get a bunch of Bible Bee'ers to have a time in prayer the day before locals. We can all pray about the contest and that God would be glorified at 2:00 PM PST on August 23rd. Let me know if you're in, and please share this with as many Bible Bee'ers as you can... I'd love to get an idea of how many our going to do it!"

Akron Fossils & Science Center is hosting their 8^th annual fundraiser on November 3^rd at Northside Christian Church.  There will be a meal, thruout which will be held a silent and oral auction.  After the meal and auctions, live entertainment will be held.

Instead of celebrating gory, barbaric things and trying to scare the daylights out of each other, let us celebrate God for the men who fought for reformation.  Please also use the prayer registry to pray with me for a "great awakening" in our own country.

Bible Bee Nationals are going to happen!!! 300 contestants, age range from 7-18 are going to be competing in the National Bible Bee!

300 contestants will do the following:

• Recite up to 20 passages in 10 minutes
• Answer up to 200 multiple-choice questions in one hour
• If they place in the top 15 of their specific division (Primary, age 7-10; Junior, age 11-14; Senior, age 15-18) they will go on stage to the Semi-Final Challenge Round
• Those who make the top 5 in the Semi-Final Challenge Round will move up to the Final Challenge Round.
