bill - I'm glad to be a part of this group. The verse I shared is my life verse. When I was 18 and considering my future John 15:16 spoke to my heart and lead me into the ministry. Once in ministry Philippians 1:20 became a motivating verse to direct how I lived my life in ministry.
Carols favorite Scripture I love that verse because it contains a promise from God. No matter what I feel. No Matter what happens He will complete the work He began in my life!! And that work is to love Him more than anything else or anyone else To want eternal Life more than this life .....to heal me deep inside from Everything that keeps me from Being wholly His!!! Etc etc etc etc
