Beaumont's Local Bible Bee - Beaumont, TX

Hey, everyone! No, don't worry, this isn't a lecture about how most of you weren't there at the Bible Bee. That was your decision, and I respect that. However, we do have some news that you might like to know.

After a lot of study, one of our group is going to Nationals in Orlando FL! Ok, that would be me, Rebekah. I have a lot of study ahead of me and I NEED YOUR PRAYERS!!!

Whether you believe in Spiritual Warfare or not, It's out there, and it's tough! I'll need my friends around me as I prepare to compete. How bad was it last year? I got Mono. Not the best thing for studying. I have a lot of work to do (Rachel, that's why I'm not on the Lumberton Outpost that often) and I would appreciate your prayers. Even though the Bee is over, continue to read God's word! Trust me, it's worth it.

I'm no saint, but God moves in mysterious ways, and I'm glad he does. Keep up the good work!

We had a meeting on Saturday. We tested out our judges and proctors and worked on our verses and took a test. Kitchen family, I think that you will have your test in a few days. Clark family, it's not too late now! Please don't give up!

Trust me. If anybody has had a reason to quit, it was me. I was babysitter every day the last couple of months. It's possible to continue! Finish well.

The First Official Bible Bee meeting will be held at Reformed Presbyterian Church in Beaumont (the white church on Crow, by Collier Park) All contestants and their families are requested to come if possible to meet one another and to support each other in the contest
