I would compare the versions and decide which interpretation of a particular verse I liked best. Now that I looked at it, it makes sense that I was kind of putting myself in the place of God when I thought I knew better to make these decisions. And I have learned that there are agendas that people have for creating these new versions. They have taken out a lot of words that are important. So I'm memorizing the verses here in the King James.
I'm grateful for this group and I look forward to memorizing these verses.
