Sorry ellie i just realized that you can either be an administrater or something else. So do you want to be an administrter or prayer leader? And also to Brianna, a prayer leader allows people to post prayer requests on his or her page. That prayer leader also has the responsability to actually pray. You cant just be prayer leader and pretend to pray.
Why do I have an option to remove everyone's comments? I'm just supposed to be able to remove my own?

I think the best way to find me is to go to "my verses" then click "join group" and scroll down until you find encouraging teens. we've only memorized, like, 3 verses so we're way down there. ellie can join. really everyone. you dont HAVE to be a teen. i mean, i wasn't a teen when i founded it. i ended up changing the name from team memorizer. seemed kind of lame. XP any way, i just want to get some verses memorized. you dont need to be a teenager. maybe i should add that in some where. please join! i really need more members. thx!

I know alot of you have been wondering about the details of this group so here they are.We have alot of points to this group. When we are in this group we get to talk and fellowship together. Also, if you didn't see our description, we ask each other questions about life, the bible, being a christian or any other questions that we have. Oh! and there was a lady who actually started the group only it had a different name. It was called "Girls for Christ." Unfortunatly, Carla (the lady) had to stop doing it for personal reasons. So I took on the "job" persay, but no one joined for a long time. Then I started to "advertise." I would post on random walls to come to the group , that was then when people started to file in. right now I have about six people, including myself. I understand that you can't make it to Hide his Word. It is disapointing, but I understand. A lady named Vessie already declined my invatation because she had too many groups.

Yes, I do go on every day, Brianna. From 1:30 to 2:30 (12:30 to 1:30 your time) is the best time for me. And by the way, I'm homeschooled too.

Oh, so for everybody, they have to figure out what their time is? So if I was on at 8, you would have to be on at 9. I get it. I don't necessarily have a set time for scripture typer alone. I have regular computer time at 8, and sometimes I choose to do scripture typer then, but since its a school thing (I'm home schooled) I can do it really anytime. Sometimes on Saturday I'll get on earlier, but not often. I'll try to get on earlier once. Do you go on every day?
That last comment was 1:19, not 12:19. This clock is set on central, so my time is an hour ahead of that.
I'm in eastern. I don't go on at night though, usually. Sometime in the afternoon, but not between four and five. I'm not available then. I don't really have a set time I do Scripture Typer.

In 2010 there were just the 66 passages from the Local, and the same book of the Bible. This year there are the 24 Local ones plus 175 (that's Junior) passages and another book of the Bible. So now I have 199 passages and 2 books of the Bible! That's a lot. I am so sorry you can't be there.
Seriously? I'm sorry! That must be very disappointing. :( You went to Nationals last year? Did you compete? This is my second time competing in Nationals. It was much easier in 2010 though! :)
School is very busy for me. My school gives a lot of homework, so I will not be able to compete in the Bible Bee this year. I wish I could do the Bible Bee, but I didn't have enough time. I had a great experience going to National's last year, so I hope that maybe I can go another year.

It is definitely a lot of verses! I am not sure that I will have enough time to memorize all of them. I just started going to school this year (I have been previously homeschooled) and I have a lot of homework.

Hi all! I just wanted to say that you all did the BEST job! Whenever you take time to study God's word it is like you are saying I love you to God.
That's why I have 112 verses current and will soon have 119. I have 600(!) more verses, which are in 175! passages. I've been working ever since the day after the scores came out.
Wait, Tristie, you're in Seniors which means you have even more to memorize than I do. They sure make Nationals hard!

I made it into nationals also. I was 37th place in seniors. I was so excited!
4 other people from my Local made it too, and I know one of them, so I'll know at least one person at the Nationals.
I did! I found out last night and I was completely thrilled and then I was completely confused and dazed for the rest of the evening. And then I woke up early because I was so excited and now I'm working on putting the National verses onto Scripture Typer. For the Juniors there are 175 more passages which amount to 600!!!! verses. So, I'd better get started and do LOTS of studying.

Actually, forget my notice. I thought the Bible was the final authority because it was last year, but I was reading the rulebook this morning and it says the cards are. They change the rules. Did you notice that the number of contestants that go to Nationals went from 100 last year to 120 this year (for each division)? Nice. I'm sorry for any confusion I may have caused with that notice.
What version you are using? I checked my NKJV Bible and it is the same as the NKJ cards. Thank you for the notice, though!

Tristie, we had a winter in South Dakota that was like that. There was a three-day blizzard on Christmas Eve, Christmas, and the day after Christmas in 2009. It would get warm, snow would start to melt, and then it would freeze again, and there would be another blizzard. There was a drift about six feet high that covered the whole backyard. At the end of March, it was 80 degrees, and there were 3 feet of snow still on the ground.
I think you should keep Hide His Word. It's not completely for the Bible Bee, and besides, if it was, you could use it next year.

My Birthday changes after 1/3 of the studying is over. :) So I'm 14 too. But I'll be 15 on August 1st.
Yeah, actually I think it's kind of cool, but it does feel a little weird! :) The same thing will happen to my younger brother in two years because his birthday is just a few days before mine.
Hello, Bethany. I'm doing Bible Bee too. You must be 14. I'm 13, and my birthday's in December so I'll be 13 for the whole thing. I can imagine how annoying that would be to be 14 and put in the Seniors because of your birthday!

I'm from North Dakota. Our weather has been pretty weird this year - wet and warm sometimes, cold other times! :)
Finland is pretty cold in the winter. The snow wasn't all melted until April. We have had nice summer weather, though. It is normally 70 degrees.
