I don't know how to put the New Testament into 1 verse

The problem here is that when you memorize verses that is fine, but you are not memorizing a verse that says "Daniel" or "Job". Those are just words. I would not be against you having the books of the bible as a verse if you had more books of the bible then just one per verse. If you had the New Testament books of the bible layed out in order for one verse and the Old Testament books of the Bible for another verse that would be fine, but having just one book of the Bible for one verse is cheating.
