Zechariah 12:10 KJV — And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
That's God saying "me whom they have pierced"...
Revelation 1:7 KJV — Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
The Lord opened my eyes today to how clearly and powerfully the gospel is presented in Revelation 1!
He wants us to keep it as our foundation for understanding the rest of the book.
You can see Jesus Christ's death in verses 5 and 18; His resurrection in verses 5, 7, and 13-18; and His identity as God Almighty in verse 8, when compared with verses 11a and 16!

Especially since He says in verse 3 that will be blessed if we read, and hear, and keep those things which are written therein. I noticed He doesn't say that we'll be blessed if we just read it, or if we just read it and hear it, but if we read it, and hear it, and keep it. Because we could read it, and even understand it, but then go on our merry way doing whatever we want afterwards, and not be ready for the rapture. But if we keep his words close to us in our hearts, then we should be always ready, "for the time is at hand" (verse 3).
Hello 👋 watchers! Praying for y'all! I hope y'all are encouraged by memorizing Revelation! Jesus has helped me memorize Revelation 1:1-5 in just 5 days! I am amazed! I could never do it without Him! I never thought I could keep up a memorizing habit, which was discouraging, but God is showing me that with Him all things are possible!! I am so encouraged!! I hope y'all are encouraged too!!
