The day was pretty normal; Katy went to school, then book club. However, it wasn’t just any ordinary day, because today her dad was coming home from the military! But hours passed, and eventually it was 9:00, but Katy wasn’t worried. He was just fine, right? But the clock kept ticking and he still wasn’t here. When it got even later, she had to go to bed. In the morning she woke up early and went downstairs with a hopeful face. But when she took just one look at her mom, she didn’t have to ask. He still wasn’t here. Sadly, Katy slowly walked away. But her mom called her back, saying as comforting as she could, “Katy, I’m sorry. I hope he’ll be back today. We both do.” Unfortunately it didn’t help much. Katy hadn’t seen her dad for years, and she missed him very much. Days passed, weeks, a whole month passed. Would she ever see her father again?
sorry, we had some friends over for a sleepover (her momhad surgery) so i havent been doing much
Chapter 1 - Missing
Katy’s life was simple. She would get up in the morning and go to school, sitting by herself at lunch and ending with her favorite subject, math. After that, she would either go to the book club she was a part of, or, if the club wasn’t meeting that day, she would help her mom with their small diner. After dinner she would work on her homework, perhaps read the book for book club, then go to bed. Not that life had been that simple for very long, though. Let me tell you the story:
ill share a paragraph a day but not on sunday
the first story ill start to share is called the time portal
