the cf-5's will need to come from brickowl. I am modifying two of them on my team to be cf-501's,who have twice the firepower, to feed effectively off the spots of the other cf-5's. I unfortunately do not have any money for cf's.
I have one cf-5, so I need 4 more. needing 6 cf's total in the last post was a mistake I can't fix.
I have one c-rex, so I don't need that.
cdo(ctu1) needs a total of 5 robots shortterm. 1 c-rex, and 6 cf's, some modified with systems (not frames) into acf's.
great, done with that. all the stuff is too high for me without bricklink. oh well.
I am reading through the robots instructions and above this I will note robots that look simple and I will mark what page I ended on bc I can't read the whole thing.
perhaps come up with a couple common offense/defense/target/objective setups, with rules to setup them. one player winning will pick which setup the next battle will be and assigns the spots and decides the objectives.
for h2h, ignore cover, as the game said
for artillery, do not count cover in line of sight, only what the original game called cover, being a wall in 1 unit of you.
for direct fire, of half the frame of the robot is our of cover, it is out of cover. count walls etc in line of sight except for a wall in 1 unit of you.
add an unit of movement for each brick above 2 the terrain is. don't count a couple plates on top of a wall, or random terrain on the ground. for a normal robot, double the movement it takes to walk through terrain or parts on the ground
fix the movement system getting you through cover without a tax
for that: either reduce the number of accuracy dice you roll, the number of damage dice you roll, or the target on the damage dice.
change accuracy of direct fire at different ranges
what changes should I make to the gameplay rules?
who could I play mfz with
