Here is a video which shares some interesting facts about the early Christian church: https://youtu.be/gkLkNFguoGs?si=VEawlyggGOXeUylG
More review verses for today: Philippians 2:14-16 KJV - Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Under technical support right?
Some of my review verses: 2 Timothy 4:3-5 KJV - For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Anyone can email me at my email address: 3riversent@gmail.com for proof of why the Developer had cause to remove JJ from this app. Any further discussion of this matter will only be through the Developer at his email address. You can find it at the bottom of your page on your computer under Contact Us or on your phone under Settings and Email Support.
Some of my review verses today. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV - This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
I would appreciate you sending the evidence by email, but he never encouraged me or anyone else to cheat in all these past years. Maybe he has been doing it.
Noah, I feel like Jesus must have felt when people kept asking Him to repeat Himself. He said He had already told them and they did not believe Him the first time. So why did He need to repeat Himself? So I am saying much the same thing to you, except that I am only going to say this once more. I will not join your group ever. I will send you proof if you want (by email) but it seems you would rather believe a cheater. Do not clutter up this wall with your defense of a liar even after the Developer had enough evidence to ban JJ! Do not ask me about this again and stop taxing my energy.
Did you think my comment was directed at you, Christian. If it does not apply to you, then you have no reason to fear my wrath. Great spiritual forces in high places are raging a supernatural war against us. Spiritual warfare. Not everything fighting us is flesh and blood. See Ephesians 6:10-12.
Ir brothers but u don’t talk much?? Age gap?
i want peace for everyone
Friends, please pray for me that I will have peace through this whole debacle with JJ. The people who follow him are stirring up trouble. I explained on here the best I could of why the Developer resorted to banning JJ permanently from Bible Memory. He was not willing to admit that he was wrong. He also harbored the same resentment of people who hated the Truth (ie. the group, Former Seventh-Day Adventists: Renewing our minds). I hated pointing the problems out, but the damage he was doing to influence young people for evil can affect their salvation as well as his. Compare what happened to Lucifer! I know that the whole problem with disobedient people and children will not be over until God says it is over. Thank you in advance for your prayers. 🙏❤
Ruby, I deleted three of your posts to maintain the continuity of this wall. Now please share more info about how the Developer sent him spam mails about buying random things. If you would, have your brother or mother forward one of those emails to me. 🙂
Christian, no it will not ban Ruby. And I will not join Memories to discuss this. I have much evidence of his deceit. The Developer has probably received evidence from others as well. And I have explained this problem many times on here, but people choose to support the person who led out in all this deception. If you would like to see some of the evidence, send me an email and I will send back some of the screenshots.
No one can cheat their way into heaven. It is a sin! You are welcome to stay on here as long as you do not whine and pine about this being unfair by the Developer. JJ did wrong, and he received a just punishment. But he can repent, and turn his life around. I hope you will not join him in his rebellion against those who sought to uphold integrity and Truth on Bible Memory.
Ruby, I do not know who your other brother is, but I thought your brother was JJ. I know you wanted to get up high on the leaderboard, but cheating was not the way to do it. It is a sin, and is very deceitful. JJ was teaching other children that it was okay to lie and cheat. You may not have known about his cheating, but I and others have known about it for a long time. Much evidence has been collected!
All the developer does is give him spam emails about buying random things.
I just feel bad for him cause hes worked on Truth Be Told for so long and him and my other brother have been memorizing super hard to try to get up on the leaderboard. And now its all gone...
It is good to know that Satan has only a short time to wreak havoc and cause misery on the Earth, and then his reign will be over. But we have to keep vigilant because he is crafty and will do everything he can to cause us to lose faith and give up. We can only find true peace in a relationship with Jesus.
Revelation 12:12 KJV - Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Thank yyou. I feel so much better.
@Kitty Lover: Jesus is sad as well about the death of your loved one. Being sad means you loved him greatly.
@Kitty Lover: I am so sorry about the grief your family must be feeling right now. But you cannot worry about his salvation now. You have to leave it in Jesus hands or the grief can eat you up. Only God can answer those kinds of questions.
Charlie, everyone is allowed on here who is willing to share faith in Christ and love of memorization. The Developer is not an SDA but has been very kind and open-minded with me, probably someone who thinks very different than him.
Charlie, do you mean this app is developed by Adventists? I was surprised how many SDAs were here. But I like it when anyone learns scripture
She's going to church, just not Sabbath school.
My mom may not even go to church tomorrow! 😭
GUYS MY BROTHERS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN LOCKED OUT AND TBT HAS BEEN DELETED!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Of course. Is it alright if i ask my family if they can pray for you also?
oh no I’m so sorry Kitty Lover😭 I will def pray 🙏
Pray for my family. My Catholic grandfather's brother got in a car accident, so my family prayed he would recover. He just died today! 😭😭😭And he was a Catholic! And I don't know if he is saved! 😭😭😭
hi guys! I assume you are sdas. I am too!
My mom started using ice and the pain is less now.
Jesus, looking down to the last generation, saw the world involved in a deception similar to that which caused the destruction of Jerusalem. The great sin of the Jews was their rejection of Christ; the great sin of the Christian world would be their rejection of the law of God, the foundation of His government in heaven and earth. - GC1 22:1-3
Hello glitch. How are you today?
1 Timothy 1:4-6 says, ..Myths and endless genealogies.. promote empty speculations rather than the plan [of God], which operates by faith. Now the goal of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. Some have deviated from these and turned aside to fruitless discussion. - from the Holman Christian Standard Bible (a little more readable for this verse than the KJV). I think this verse says it all. No fruit can come of the previous conversation.
James 3:5 KJV - "Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell."
Psalm 89:15-18 KJV - "Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king."
@Everyone: Read Matthew 16:13-17 out loud. If you have difficulty reading it, you may be experiencing harassment or oppression by a demonic spirit. I learned this and other things from a 3ABN broadcast with Dr Conrad Vine. Go to SetFreeinChrist.org to receive guidance on how to empower your mind against spiritual warfare.
Then she should get a second opinion. She needs to definitively rule out a heart condition.
It sounds like severe indigestion. Does she know about having an underlying digestive problem? She may need to go to a nutritionist or dietician for answers. Med doctors do not always know about the relationship between the diet and health problems.
It's still unknown what is causing the pain.
She said yesterday that the EKG showed that the pain in her chest has nothing to do with her heart. Praise God for that.
Happy Sabbath friends! Here is an interesting video showing a mock trial of the state versus a Sabbath keeper: https://youtu.be/Q5O2r_lE2Yc?si=gJXFiOYS9VEbvAFA
Kitty Lover, I hope your mom got some answers today. I prayed and will continue praying for her.
More review verses to ponder. 2 Timothy 4:2-4 KJV - "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."
We will. Has she seen a doctor about it?
Please pray for my mom, she has chest pain for about a month!
Two of my review verses this morning. The Lord is good; He answered my prayer. Exodus 4:11-12 KJV - "And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I the LORD? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say."
Also, we want this to be a happy place where we can share verses we are memorizing. And regarding the scores, I believe the Developer did the right thing. He wanted to protect this app from people who cheat in order to get high scores. Someone did that to get to the top. That individual has a personal experience score of over 6 million and still uses cheats, so that is a problem. And he will not admit that what he did was wrong. His actions have scarred the relationship of others with the Lord so that they believe he is innocent, and that it is okay to cheat. That bothers me.
I understand how you feel about the ban. I believe we should be able to withdraw it if we change our minds. But it was to protect us from disagreeable people who want to continue to argue for one thing. Nobody wants to see that clutter on the message wall. That is why I delete those posts.
I know you think this group is one-sided. It is not a debate group. It is a place for Seventh-day Adventists to support one another and to teach others who want to learn what it is that we believe. We believe with confidence what we uphold. No question.
Some thought-provoking review verses to ponder: 1 Peter 1:5-9 - "Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in Whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."
Religion is like politics and issues regarding lust. It cannot be discussed without preconceived ideas. That is why it is best to stick to the Bible and the Bible alone. Comment using scripture references. That is safer than an opinion. I could have added scripture refs to the blog below, but that would have bogged things down. But I can still find the scripture proof if you want.
@JJ: They are not speeches but rather my thoughts. Anyone has the opportunity to discuss anything about what was said and add their own two cents. They could bring up something similar if they want. But we do not argue doctrine here, or debate issues. If you want to understand more about a certain subject, then we are happy to discuss it. We are free thinkers and do not accept everything that is said from the pulpit or written in books freely until we have tested it against the scriptures. Many non-Adventists like yourself feel uncomfortable to discuss things with us further because you know that we are going to test it against the scriptures. We do not believe the same things that you profess because we are like the Bereans. But maybe we can discuss the similarities of our two faiths without arguing. I do not leave posts up though that we feel are eroneous or confusing for long. :^)
I know this has been a pretty heavy topic to think about, but it needs to be discussed. It is not something that should be swept under a rug and forgotten. We have to stay on top of this and keep watch like those in an army. Our current Challenge is helping prepare us to be ready with the tools of warfare that God is equipping us with. As we watch, and learn more scriptures, the evil scenes we are witnessing on Earth reveal more clearly that Jesus is coming soon. We do not have to know exactly when He is coming, just that signs are happening all around us showing His coming is near. As the Bible says, do not let the thief catch you asleep. Keep memorizing and filling your hearts with the word of God so that you can be ready, for judgment is going on right now!
PART EIGHT - The Bible says that the last days will be like it was during the time of Noah. If you remember, Noah preached about a coming flood for 120 years. Millions of people had a chance to accept God as their Savior, and I know that thousands if not millions came to see the kook who was building an ark. It had never rained, so why should they believe that it could? But only eight people entered the Ark, even after all that multitude saw the creatures that God wanted to save file onto the ark. Why, you may ask. Because the multitude chose to believe the commandments of men and doctrines of devils, more than the warning of God. Please do not ignore this message, as well as warnings you may hear in other places. Jesus is coming, and the disobedient will be destroyed with the wicked in the first fire at Jesus' second coming, only to be resurrected in the second resurrection. Then they and Satan and his evil angel followers will receive the PERMANENT death sentence in the lake of fire. Death and hell will ONLY THEN be no more.
PART SEVEN - The reason I am giving this loud warning right now is that we are living in the last days. Final events are beginning to occur. Occultic activity is increasing, and soon Satan will make his appearance, pretending that he is Jesus. He will say that he changed the reverence from the seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday, the first day of the week. Blue laws, followed by a Sunday law will occur, and then followed by the enforced Sunday Law that will begin in the US and whose influence will spread around the world. These things are spoken of in the Spirit of Prophecy (check out The Great Controversy, around page 590), they can be confirmed by the scriptures, and info about them are even being posted on Catholic websites as we speak. I am not jumping the gun and am no prophet, but I believe what the last day prophet of God, EG White, has written. And I do not have to know all of the answers. I am a lay person, but a student of the scriptures. I point people to scholars who understand and teach these things better than I do. That is why I suggest that people check out organizations like AmazingFacts.org for more information on these subjects.
PART SIX - And is it possible that more saintly Souls who did not have access to the scriptures, but whose hearts nevertheless are pure and accepted of God, will be saved at the second coming of Christ? Like people among the Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists, Confucianists, Islam, etc. People among the Catholics, the Latter-day Saints and within Judaism will not have much of an excuse, because they have had access to a real Bible, but they choose to read falsehoods like what has been written in the Book of Mormon and in the Catholic Bible. Those are the doctrines of devils and the commandments of men. The angel that came to Joseph Smith was a demon. So the Mormon faith is based on false theology. And anyone who still continues to downplay the role of Jesus in our lives is deluded. He is the only way to heaven. No man comes to the Father except by Him.
PART FIVE - God changes NOT, as it says in Malachi 3:6! And He said that His ways are not our ways, and our thoughts are not His thoughts. When men decided that sympathy for their fellow atheists and unbelievers was more important than loyalty to God (back in the early 300s to 400s AD), they had no problem bringing in idol worship, false doctrine, and whatever else they felt would bring revenue into their coffers, hence the doctrines presently held in the Roman Catholic Church. So, my fellow Christians, have you so easily let go of the reformation, and your understanding of why Martin Luther felt compelled to nail his 99 thesis to the cathedral door? It was because of these very things that I am speaking of, and many more that could be said. It is possible that most of the preachers of the present day are wolves wearing the clothing of sheep, and they call themselves Christian preachers.
PART FOUR - You do not have to be frightened by lies like being burned in hell forever if you are destroyed among the wicked. Destroyed means burned up, brought to ashes (like it says in another place in the Bible). The smoke rises up FOREVER. The final death sentence is FOREVER. You do not have to worry about purgatory. There is no such thing! When you die, you just sleep without the breath of life, awaiting one of the two resurrections. You do not have to pray for the dead or go through genealogies to pray your loved ones out of hell. Your cases are already decided when you die! You do not go through a priest to God to confess and repent of your sins. Nothing can be changed by the prayers of men for someone AFTER he dies, and the priest can do nothing but pray alongside you. He cannot forgive your sins. Only God can forgive sins. Terrible lies have taken the place of Truth! So much error has come into the church because men decided they were smarter than God and knew the mind of God.
PART THREE - So men then began to adopt different rules, that conflicted with the word of God as expressed in the Ten Commandments, and in the New Testament writings. Now we have so many conflicting Bible versions and denominations (all planned by Satan himself), so that man cannot figure out what is true and what is false. We SDAs had a true prophet in our midst, and we still have access to the Spirit of Prophecy to confirm the Truth that is taught in the King James Version Bible. We share what we know to open the eyes of those who have been deceived by Satan and by false preachers. Why Seventh-day Adventist ministers continue to use other versions of the Bible that have errors in them is beyond me! The Truth can be plainly understood when the scriptures are taught correctly.
PART TWO - They had heard the word of God from Jesus while He was on Earth, but after He was crucified and later the disciples and apostles had died, so-called early Christians began to change the words of the New Testament to mean what and how they now wanted to interpret things. I have heard people say that the early Christians adopted the idea that the Ten Commandments were no longer valid, but that there were only two of which Jesus spoke of in the New Testament. I have heard them go so far as to say that the Ten Commandments had been nailed to the cross. They say that those two Commandments spoken of by Jesus now replaced the original ten commandments. I seem to remember a verse that says that all ten commandments are housed in those two commandments. That does not mean that the fourth Commandment is no longer valid, nor is any other commandment (that they want to exclude). Those ideas are the commandments of men and doctrines of devils spoken of in the Bible.
PART ONE - Hi friends. I have been thinking about something that may sound like I do not love you. But I want to share this BECAUSE I love you! I am putting this in different parts because I do not feel that it can be explained properly in just one post. The first thing I want to say, is that it is very possible that most of the people lost at the second coming of Jesus will have called themselves CHRISTIANS. I believe this because Christians have had the Bible ever since Moses had written down the ceremonial laws, and received the Ten Commandments directly from God, which had been written with the finger of God on two stone tablets. The followers of God have had the responsibility of keeping the oracles of God pure, basically ever since the beginning of mankind on Earth. But men have allowed the word of God to be changed over time.
Oh, I am familiar with them, and support them as well.
@Marylin, see my reply there. But no. I work with Jesus4Asia
Some good review verses for this morning. Psalm 37:23, 27, 30 - "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment."
@Bengali: You said something on Missionaries that indicated you may be part of the Gospel Outreach organization. Is that true? They are involved in very exciting work in the 10-40 window.
@JJ: You should not frown. You are still able to be active on here.
I just joined your group, Bengali. If you can get the kids to be serious, that would be a miracle. I have personally experienced a lot of their tricks, and have seen much deceit. Satan is alive and well on Bible Memory, but I know that God has more power. I will support you where I can. God bless!
that group is for missionaries and would-be missionaries, I will post information there that is helpful for missions
You are invited to the "Missionaries" Bible memorization group: https://biblememory.com/group/app/0b3a9a5c19/
I am about to go over some of my favorite review verses tonight: Psalm 118:7-9: "The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes." Have a good night. :^)
I wish I had started learning scriptures when I was young, but I did not know Jesus, nor the value of committing Bible verses to memory. I began to learn Bible verses in my mid-20s after my conversion. I remember a child coming up to me at church and asking why I did not know very many verses. All I could say was that I did not know how important Jesus would be in my life until then.
@Bengali That's very cool, those are great books.
blessings to you Marilyn. Yes, I review more than 200 verses a day. But I had no idea that that was public knowledge. I am 53 and began memory work when I was 11, so I have learned John, Daniel, Romans, Galatians, Philippians, Hebrews, and maybe 50 other chapters. But much of this is lost in the fuzz now so I am using this app to freshen up
The Challenge Titles have been updated today. Remember, this Message Wall is a place for conversation. Our talks are not private and anyone can participate. All I ask is that people follow the rules so that we can work out problems together, share tidbits about our lives, and pray for one another. As the FLDS say, "Keep sweet!" :^)
Anyway, let us move away from this matter for the time being. The Sabbath is coming on, and Preparation Day is about over. I was going to make a Keto Vegetarian Crustless Zucchini recipe (I found on Google), but time got away from me. But, we will have black-eyed peas with Wham, brown rice, fresh steamed spinach, seasonal lettuce salad (with strawberries, pecans, apple slices, and feta cheese) and balsamic dressing. Pumpkin pie will put the finishing touch on our Sabbath lunch (once in a while, I really get into good healthy food).
@Tony: I hope my explanation helps explain how your score may have been affected. Let me just say that certain individuals have been very deceptive on here, actively cheating. And I have caught them in the act! Several of us reported them to the Developer, hence the new algorhythm changes. But, that has not completely protected Bible Memory from cheaters and liars. It is still very easy to cheat. I have done what I could to warn the children and youth that are involved in this, but there is only so much I can do. They will ultimately answer to Him Who knows all and sees all. God help them... :^/
Bengali, your score on my cell phone shows 17. But how did you get the score of 1914 on the computer having just joined us recently? You raced to the top above others who weekly have worked very diligently to maintain their position. This new adjustment does not make sense. If my calculations are correct, you would have had to do an average of 273 verses a day for a week in order to get that score! How did you do it, Bengali?
It appears that our scores are judged now by how much we review, not by our personal experience (it can be seen on the computer). And it is decided by an algorythym. So if we review 40 verses in a day, that times 7 would be 280 per week. That is what I am doing, but some days I do not review quite that many. So my score is 240. Learning verses for the first time might change that number.
I shows 17 for me, Hmm. That must just be the verses from the group lists
same thing happened to me. I had 183 verses and now 175. I’m not sure which eight are now missing.
Marilyn, examining ourselves for motives is so important. I was on this app years ago with many verses learned, but I backed away over my competitive spirit. Are you friends with many of the youth that use this chat function? they seem precious
Now, I am focusing more on what I feel I must learn than on how much. When one of the youth said to me one time, "It is just a game," I realized that I had gotten caught up in that mentality. I had lost track of the true value of Bible memorization. So I have had to examine myself, and change my mindset. 😳
We can see each others statistics while on our phones, but not on our computers. I just do not want anyone thinking they have to learn over 5000 verses like me. I have been on here a long time and was so involved in meeting all the criteria Bible Memory had to offer. I was more ambitious about learning numerous verses than about what I was memorizing. I got caught up in challenging the young people.
Marilyn, how can someone be alarmed at how many verses you learn? I don’t see that information anywhere? Does that mean that people can see each others statistics?
Goodnight everyone. Hope you have restful dreams. 😴
