Really, this book is kind of a transition into book 3 which is plot heavy. I recently added this one so it doesn't have much content. Pretty much thats what I have so far.
A few weeks later Devyn demands some of the virus antidote for his own. (Marynda had gone with Devyn every time now because he was scared she'd dump info) Westley doesn't want to give it up though, so he tricks Devyn and gives him poison disguised as the antidote. So Devyn doesn't get the real stuff. Westley knew he had reached a point in his job where he didn't need Devyn and Marynda's help much more. So he didn't see it a huge loss to get rid of them
Next trip, Devyn goes alone because Moric is injured. Marynda out of curiosity, follows him to see where he goes. She follows him for a long ways until Devyn spots her. He's already very close to the workshop, though, so he takes her with him. Devyn and Westley don't trust her, so they always keep an eye on her.
On one of the later work trips, Devyn brings Moric with him. From then on, Moric always goes with Devyn. Then one day Devyn returns without Moric, telling the family that there was an accident and Moric was in the hospital.
The tructh is that Devyn was hired by Westley Ross. Westley needed help with the virus so he found Devyn and swore him to secrecy. Every now and then Devyn goes to Westley's workshop and helps him in cultivating the virus.
Marynda's dad Devyn always goes on worktrips for extended periods of time without telling the rest of his family where he's going. Clarima doesn't care, though, so long as he brings back money to support the family afterwards. Marynda is always curious, though
Marynda lives in Sangcarter with her family Devyn (father), Clarima (mother), and Moric (brother).

I'm bored so I'm gonna outline book 2 for you guys whether y'all care or not. Btw i don't have a full plot for this one, like A-Z, so there will likely be holes.
