I urge you to consider memorizing from the KJV(which I will be memorizing in) I have used the ESV in the past but have learned that it comes from corrupted texts and verses were changed to get a copywrite to make money and some verses taken out to favor Catholic doctrine. Some of the translators might not have even been Christians. Here is a link if you would like to look into this further. You'll need to cut and paste it into your browser. This is my pastor. We have a local congregation and a large world -wide online community to get out good, solid verse by verse study of the word of God. Also, there is a current events update at the beginning of the studies that looks at what is going on in the world from a Biblical perspective.
