please post all your favorite groups on “advertise your groups”! it’s just a regular group where you post any new groups then go ahead and leave!
could you guys join group JesuSaves and dogs for Jesus? Group JesuSaves is known for Bible trivias. So if you like those you should join! It is a group for God. And both groups are clean of bad words. Group Dogs for Jesus is known for bravery and kindness. The group has been deleted by someone mean, but it just made another one. My brother was so sad because that was his group, and it had about 2,000 group verses current. So if you could join Dogs for Jesus we could make the group great again. If you say "Hi, I joined." then I will almost guarantee you will be welcomed. So If you are looking for a kind, welcoming, active group please join either one. PWEEZE😇 I want to make my brother happy.
please join a group called: good group
please join group dogs for Jesus
god blesses you guys and girls
6,069!Good job,everybody!!!!
Hey, everybody! I wasn't sure if you guys realized how tangible our challenge to be in the top five is. If everyone in our group had just 100 verses current, we would have 9,200 points. That would put us in third! And that's totally doable! Even if you weren't here in previous years, take a look at the older verse collections. You may be surprised to see how many passages overlap with the ones from 2016!
5883? Come on, guys. We were over 6200 a couple days ago. we can do this!
Come on!!!!We can do this!!!!
Everyone, review your verses! If we make it to 5th place on the group rankings, we can get 25 tickets each!
Annalisa, Elysia and I are reciting that verse, too (ESV) - I will be playing the banana.
That would be a good idea!
lol I considered that cause I do know it considerably, but there are a few not so known words such as tesimonies and precepts and stuff and even then there are at least 24 words or so that I don't know so it would take a while to learn them--over 2 weeks. D:
If you know sign-language, you could recite a verse out loud while signing. I don't think anyone has done that before.
Does anyone have ideas for a creative recitation at the celebration?? I've been brainstorming but haven't been able to come up with anything.
We need to maintain it until Monday--or if you want, we can go even higher and get 6,500 points for 10 tickets. Even higher to 7,400 and we'll earn 25 tickets!! If you guys memorized Psalm 119, download both the Hebrew letter Collection and the verse-by-verse Collection, so you can get DOUBLE the points!!! Thats 352 verses a person right there!!
Does that mean we accomplished it or have to maintain it until Monday?
To find our group's total points, click on the word "groups" located under the 2 black (Google play & App Store) boxes above. I see we have reached 6,002 points this morning! Better late than never! Good job, troops!
Yes we do, and we're going to do it!! Perhaps Drill Sergeant Davis would find more motivation in us if she gave 15 tickets to everyone in 15th place (on this group) and up!! Of course it would definitely help our overall group points...
How many points do we have?
To get to 5th place we need, over 1000 points.
Come on guys!We can do this!!!!
GOOD FOR YOU!! Yay!!! C'mon, ya'll!! We're an ARMY!! We work together!!
I just finished my study!Come on guys,we can do the ST challenge!!!!!
Go at your own pace, Grandma Z!! You're a veteran!! :) :) You know most people wouldn't even bother...and it doesn't hurt the group! :D
I am working on the Ruth verses and reviewing this year's.
Have I hurt our group standing by also downloading the "Top 100 verses" from ST's library? I'm not learning them quickly...only maybe 1 a day. does it hurt the group that my "passages memorized" says "50 out of 149"? I can delete that portion until after the challenge.
Gotta get ready for church...soldier on, ye blessed of the Lord! Love you guys!
Hey guys! If we all do exactly what Grandma Z is doing--reviewing past year verses---we can all just totally rocket above the skyline!! Do you think Kelsey is in first place at 795 by just memorizing the 2016 50 verses?
5,523?!?!?!?We are sinking fast!!
Our points are going down... Remember to review your verses!
Lightning_Typer
You can do the Wordle below the sample, or use the back of the page if yours is bigger. Hope that helps. :)
Great :) I don't think anyone cares as long as its on a piece of paper. I think you could even do it seperately on a different paper and no one would mind. Just when you get it checked, show the wordle to the person manning the station and say, 'This is for #19 on page 130.
On question #19 in the Cadet study on page #130,am I supposed to make a "wordle"on that page or on the next??
I think I found it before you sent the message.
Its on the group's banner---www.family-up.org. I was being a smarty XD
Look about 3 1/2 inches higher than this post. ;P
What is the website for Family-Up!?
Yep. D,: Mrs. Davis will have all the intricate details about signing contracts and awards and how-to's and when-you-need-to-finish-by's and so forth in this weeks newsletter.
So is the last normal week next week?
As a group on the entirety of Scripture Typer? Left to the 'Logout' button in the top right on the banner, there's a button that says 'Groups.' Under 'Rankings,' look for us. We're currently in 7th.
Does anyone know where the thing is that shows us how many points we've done?
Whoa that's a lot of weeks..;) I assume you're asking about the BTM?? You need to have Week #9 done by August 8th. You do sign a contract on the last normal meeting, saying you WILL get Week #10 done, I think by the 15th.
Does anybody know whether we are supposed to finish both weeks nine and ten before next week or sighn a contract for week ten or next get week nines checked next week and get week ten's checked on the week after next week?
I'm trying to relearn the verses from Ruth...old brains take longer. There is also a group of the 100 favorite verses that I have downloaded...what a treasure! My major goal is that, in the midst of spiritual battle, Holy Spirit can have plenty of ammo to choose from as He equips me to do battle with the enemy. Love you guys!
Yipee! Keep rolling guys! Like Mrs. Davis told me: "Memorizing God's Word is an Eternal Investment!!"
I just downloaded the SS 2015 verses--why didn't I do that sooner??!! I should do 2014--I hope I remember them.. :P
We're dropping rapidly! Remember, 5 extra tickets for 5,500!!! If you recited something off, Review! Who cares if it's Psalm 119? Review! Who cares if it's the SS 2013 verses? REVIEW! WE CAN DO THIS!!! Is anyone with me?
Are we sliding down in our verses?!!? WE WENT FROM 5,470 TO 5,417!!! We're going the wrong way guys! Keep GOING UP!!!
Honestly, it always takes a while to memorize a letter, so the order should come naturally. I don't think it's a requirment to memorize the order of the letters...is it?...and when memorizing, I pay attention to and memorize tense, make up word-chains. etc. So if it goes "I have kept your precepts" and then "your commandments are my delight" I think, "Ok, imperfect, present." I kinda find it harder to memorize large passages on ST, so I usually print the passage and say it to myself throughout the day. Then I come back and 'Master It' later on ST. Hope that helps. :)
(I think I made a mistake on that)
Thanks! How do you remember which letter is next? How do you remember which word like I or You or My (etc.)at the beginning of each verse?
I have been memorizing this way. To remember sentence order in a letter, I made little 'chain word-remember thing.' Such as for Heth: for verses 59-64. I used the beginning few words from each verse to get me going. "
~I entreat (your favor with all…)
~When (I think on my ways…)
~I hasten (to keep your commandments…)
~Though (the cords of the wicked…)
~At Midnight (I rise to praise you…)
~I am (a companion of all…)
~The earth (O LORD, is full of your steadfast love…)
I entreat when I hasten, though at midnight I am the earth.
It made no sense, and was the height of the ridiculous, but it worked!
Does anybody have any suggestions for memorizing Psalm 119?
Everyone, review your verses! We almost have 4,500!
Annalisa, I included a set of ESV verse cards in the study that's going out for you in today's mail. Hope this helps! :)
As far as I know ST just cuts off the passage where it doesn't fit on the card and doesn't continue it anywhere else.
Is there a way to print the entirety of the verse cards off of Scripture Typer? I got to the page where it gives the four print options, and, once the favored option is selected, every verse is on the preview, but Phillipians 2:1-8 is cut off, and I can't find where it continues. Am I just not seeing something??
It's not too late to join us, Annalisa. :)
We miss you!
Are y'all still meeting at Church on The Hill at 6:30?
Thanks, Christopher! We'll miss you this summer! Blessings as you faithfully follow Him! :)
Hey y'all!! So some of you may have been told, but I was accepted to work at Camp Tadmor this summer. I will be there from June till August. I will miss being with Family Up! this year...but, this is the road GOD has called me to switch to.
I will keep y'all in my prayers!!!
Soon... and very soon! :)
How soon will the new verses be up for the summer?
Thanks everyone for the help. =) Sounds like I'll just have to be patient for a bit. =)
Just got this info this morning- they are making some changes and they highlighted them (copy and paste are AWESOME!)

Bug Fixes
• Review screen is supposed to sort by due date, but also group sequential verses together so you can review them in order. We've had several reports that this isn't always working properly, and we are working to correct this issue.
Yes, it does. You can also go to your Review page and click on the frequency next to each verse and change it, but I don't know if there's any way to change multiple verses at once.
I think after you review them successfully each time the review period extends a little (each time). Anyone else know?
Does anyone know if you can change the review frequency for all your verses?
Hey everyone! Do you remember Mrs. Linda's announcement at the Treehouse meeting? 25 tickets for everyone who has at least 63 points if we get to the first-place spot! We can totally do it if we work together! Who's with me?
I have the first chapter of Ruth memorized:)
Congrats "anonymous"! I like your new green bead! One more than I have! Way to go!
Keeper o-da MoNkEyS I almost have the second half of the first chapter of Ruth memorized
I think it's because I already selected the collection, and we figured out that once group members select a collection, it doesn't register verse edits on their collections. It's okay, I figured out how to fix it myself. Thanks for checking and fixing things!
If it is still wrong, let me know, and I can play around with it some more. Is it wrong in your mom's account, too?
BibleBeeDogs-- It says Exodus 34:21 for me now. Refresh? Delete from your verses and re-download maybe? Sorry... :-/
I don't know if it's just my verses, but the NKJV collection still says Exodus 34:12 instead of 34:21.
It worked! Thank you, and I can't wait for Tuesday!
Thank you, Rainbow & BibleBird! I think I fixed them. I need to go thru the Psalms and remove the words not on the cards, too. Thanks again! :)
The NASB version of the Sword Study verses has two problems: Isaiah 33:15-17 is actually Psalm 46:1-3 with Isaiah 33:15-17's reference, and Isaiah 51:7-8 has an extra verse- verse 9. I didn't see any other mistakes.
