Hi Jason and Anna. I hope you don't mind if I went ahead and memorized 1Co 13 with you.
It's a great passage and I memorized it in the King James and I think that it would be easier for YOU if you did also. It's actually important that the word is translated as charity and not love in the KJV. It's interesting that in the King James the word love is used in other places but in this passage the word is charity.
If you're interested in knowing why I use the King James you can cut and paste the link below into your browser. I used to use the ESV and now I stick to the king James since I found these newer versions are shockingly corrupted in some places.
