We've just release Scripture Typer version 2 and the app is now FREE with an option to upgrade to a Pro version with additional features. Those who have already purchased the app will automatically be updated to the Pro version.

Version 2 is packed with new features!

New system of points, levels and badges

The new version of the app is great. Just one question about the badges - there are badges for being a "team leader" and "team player" for creating and memorising 10 verses in a group - both of which I have done on the website but it doesn't register on the app and there doesn't seem to be any facility for creating or joining a group within the app. Is this a work in progress? Great idea to have the badges as an encouragement and target to aim for - other suggestions might be to memorise a whole chapter, a whole book or a verse from each bible book. I like the heat maps - a useful warning or trouble spots to take care over :)

Hi Rachel, Thanks for the great feedback! You are correct, groups within the app are a work in progress, and the group related badges won't be available until we launch the in app groups. Putting the group badges in up front saves us some time in the future when we launch the group update.

I also have been having some issues. Ever since I upgraded from the free version to the full version I stopped receiving notifications on my phone that it was time for review. I looked over the review settings and everything was on and it didn't matter what time I set the review for it never showed up. I also went to the settings of the app itself and made sure notifications were turned on but still nothing. Could this be a bug of some sort? Without the notifications I forget to do the review

I bought the ScriptureTyper app with an iTunes gift card for $5.99 ... They also have an app for Android devices (I haven't tried it as I don't know more about Android device)

Hi! I love your App and I enjoy using it to memorize scripture! Everything about it has been great until recently. When I review verses in Type it and Memorize it mode the words don't line up with the overlay. Creating a jumbled mess of words on the display. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!
