To mark a verse as memorized quickly, use flash cards (upper left on the app, drop down menu has flash cards) then as you work through me, when you come to “not yet memorized”, click on it and mark it memorized and set your review frequency.
so if my changes change the verses for everyone, you will have to memorize “new” verses. that is I edited the passages to change to a single verse, then had to add the rest of what was included in a single passage. I still don’t know if this makes changes for everyone. perhaps I’ll stop until I hear from someone!
I hope my changes did not mess up anyone's verses in any way. please let me know if you want me to do the other verses. when I set this up, there were not options to memorize together, but now that there is, I think single verses make more sense. Thank you!
I'm going to edit the verses in chapter 40 to be single verses. Please check and let me know if that changes them for you too or if it is an individual thing only. To edit, go to the verse and swipe to the left to see Edit and Delete.

Isaiah 6 would be a wonderful chapter to add, and 42 as well!

I am a very active person and I go on multiple times a day. I wan to have this active group to be able to share stuff and get answers quickly and that when questions are asked they get answered too. we can memorize together in a healthy environment of people from all around the globe!! Leahin, I see that when a "verse" is a combination of 2 or more verses in scripturetyper it becomes a different verse. I also know some verses from Isaiah 53, however because I know mine individually, they are not crossing over to the group. Also, I have them in my own Isaiah category which makes them "invisible" to the category that is made here. (i.e. Isaiah 53:13-53:12)
Apparently you can't choose your Bible version. I memorized one chapter of this in another version so thought I would change it to the translation I memorized. maybe I'm missing something?
Hi Leah, I'm sorry, that's discouraging. Did you start using the iphone/ipod/smartphone app recently? When I switched from website only to using the app as well I had to start over with the ranking. But I actually like the ranking better in the new form because after you reviewed things a few times they don't make you review things as often... it just takes a while to catch up
For every group that I am a member of, my verse count is wrong. Yet, it seems that other people's verse counts are correct, because some members are getting credit for every possible verse they can memorize in the group.
Specifically:
The Romans Project
It says 34 verses current, it should be 122
Memorize the Mount
It says 7 verses current, it should be 50
Isaiah: Eight Chapters
It says 12 verses current, it should be 58
Psalm 119 Word Lovers
It says 0 verses current, it should be 12
Jesus Project
It says 4 verses current, it should be 14
Psalm 51: Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God
It says 0 verses current, it should be 2
As silly as it may be, I use my ranking in groups and my overall ranking as a motivator. So this is de-motivating! And it make me wonder if my overall ranking is accurate as well.
Is this something that Scripture Typer can fix?
Thanks! There aren't any other Isaiah groups here on ST that do more than one chapter. It would be great if this group was willing to expand beyond the initial chapters if people are interested!
I don't see why not! Well, except that the group is called, Four Chapters from Isaiah, lol! They could be a bonus.
I don't know when I will be able to do it, but I will try to do it soon.
Is there any possibility that you would add additional chapters to this group? Isaiah 11 and 12 are wonderful!
This is a perfect season to work on these verses from Isaiah!
