There are four verses left in Isaiah 1. Sometimes I memorize all four when that happens or I split it in half, with two verses each day. If there were five left, I would just do two the last day. And to keep anyone caught up who might be memorizing the Book of Isaiah with me, I will just split them.
“Knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers” (1 Timothy 1:9).
“‘I will turn My hand against you, And thoroughly purge away your dross, And take away all your alloy. I will restore your judges as at the first, And your counselors as at the beginning. “But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully” (1 Timothy 1:8).
“Your silver has become dross, Your wine mixed with water. Your princes are rebellious, And companions of thieves; Everyone loves bribes, And follows after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, Nor does the cause of the widow come before them. Therefore the Lord says, The Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, ‘Ah, I will rid Myself of My adversaries, And take vengeance on My enemies’” (Isaiah 1:22-24).

“Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies—I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood” (Isaiah 1:13-15).

“Hear the word of the Lord,You rulers of Sodom;Give ear to the law of our God,You people of Gomorrah: ‘To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?’Says the Lord. ‘I have had enough of burnt offerings of ramsAnd the fat of fed cattle.I do not delight in the blood of bulls, Or of lambs or goats. From the sole of the foot even to the head,There is no soundness in it,But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up, Or soothed with ointment” (Isaiah 1:4-6).
I have settled on 1st and 2nd Timothy next. “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Savior and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope” (1 Timothy 1:1).
“The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. I am now in the 2nd chapter of Luke, and 1st Corinthians 14. We just finished up the Book of Colossians. Now I think I will start on Isaiah for any Pathfinders. To get through it, we will have to do three verses a day. And for the New Testament at one verse a day I was thinking either the letters to Timothy or the books of Peter. But I will post the Isaiah verses here and when I choose between the others I will start posting them. If anyone has a preference let me know.
Happy Sabbath everyone!! 😊

I also started the book of Luke today. I just finished the book of Matthew. I have already memorized the books of John and Mark in that order. I find it amusing because when I first wanted to learn the books of the Bible I started it on my own with the first chapter of Luke. Now years later, I am taking up Luke again after memorizing almost half the New Testament.
