Gents, do a little research on memorizing entire books/letters. I included the smallest letters to start with…..and WATCH WHAT HAPPENS! Journal your journey.
I am adding some of the short letters in the NT to help us gain confidence in memorizing entire books. :-)
Heart Attitude verse collection added today. A small group discovered this is an issue we need to deal with. I am thinking November would be a great month to concentrate on this issue, but as always you have liberty to engage it as the LORD leads.
I had originally chosen "Renewing the Mind" but after I thought about it, there may be an immediate need for another topic for others-- so feel free to choose a different one where the Lord is leading you. As for myself and a few others, we are going to concentrate on Renewing the Mind to prep us-- and that will last for the remainder of this month and October.

I was talking to a brother about the need to have face-to-face accountability for this discipline. I am already seeing the difference. But go at your own pace; quality over quantity.
I don't think I can digest one per day, so I might go for one per week and really get it into my heart. we'll see. one thing that helps me in accountability is to invite a random person to memorize it with me. today I'm having lunch with a friend and I'm going to share prov 4:23 with him and ask him to memorize it with me.
My pleasure and I need it too. Accountability will be the issue, so I think sharing ideas on that would be profitable.

Thanks, Michael for doing this. I tried years ago to get men/women to join me with this, but while everyone said was a great idea, no one had followed thru to do it.
