Mae,where is “Help in difficult times? I searched for it and I can’t find it.
please Join my group called James!!!
I love the book of psalms! do you?
Hello everyone! Merry Christmas!
please join my new group called help in difficult times
Hey Cherry! So glad you have joined.
hello everyone. grateful to be a part of this group
@Elephant: That is wonderful! Yes, I love this app; it helps a lot with memorizing. The other nice thing is the social motivation. Wanting to get to the top of the group, so you memorize more!
I am so happy I found this app. Always wanted to learn scriptures.
hey all. just got scripture tyoer again after several years of taking off after my stroke. decided to start again with the psalms!
Welcome y'all! I'm glad you are able to join us :)
great to hear. I'm working on them too. Want to be able to pray them regularly from memory
hello, want to memorize the psalms
Hi guys!! It’s almost Good Friday. Remember that day.
Awesome! Yes, I really love horses and barrel racing☺️ That’s cool that you ride horses too!
Revelation is my one of my favorite books! After Psalms And James, I will try Revelation. I’m guessing that you like horses (and barrel racing?). I ride horses, but I don’t have any.
Hey! Cool! Psalms is probably my favorite book of the Bible, besides Revelation.
Hi! My name is HALF from ‘Soldiers of the Captain’. I’m doing my best to memorize all of the psalms!
psalm 1 memorized! what version is best? I use NLT!
@Hannah, I'm sorry you felt that you had to leave. Hopefully you will still memorize the Psalms even if it is not with our group :)
i'm leaving your group!!!!!! Thank God
Hi guys!! I just joined your group excited to study and memorize psalms!!!!
hi, I’m inviting everyone in this group to join my (very active) group called yo people of the LORD. thank you for your consideration 😁 God bless
Hello all! Although this group isn't super active anymore, it is a pleasure to have new members join. No, I am not an admin or the creator of this group, but just a fellow member happy to see new faces :)
Just found out about this group today. I’m excited as I begin to memorize the book of Psalms. I absolutely love the Psalms, especially the 145th one. They are all such a blessing. Been listening to them and reading them for the last 4-5 months. Truly, emphasis the righteousness of God and about Him being on the throne and how we are always to praise Him.
ALOHA!! So blessed to be here!!
So I saw this group and I joined because I began memorizing the Psalms. If anyone is still here I'd like to participate.
could you guys join group JesuSaves and dogs for Jesus? Group JesuSaves is known for Bible trivias. So if you like those you should join! It is a group for God. And both groups are clean of bad words. Group Dogs for Jesus is known for bravery and kindness. The group has been deleted by someone mean, but it just made another one. My brother was so sad because that was his group, and it had about 2,000 group verses current. So if you could join Dogs for Jesus we could make the group great again. If you say "Hi, I joined." then I will almost guarantee you will be welcomed. So If you are looking for a kind, welcoming, active group please join either one. PWEEZE😇 I want to make my brother happy.
please join my group called Puppy Love. thanks a lot
Please join my group national bible bee 2018. It is very active. It currently has 78 verses memorized in it.
Please join God Gives Good Gifts it has 289 verses right now, thanks.
is there anyone active in this group? would like to talk to others who are memorizing Psalms. Amy
Please join MemorizeGod'sWordTogether, it is a very encouraging and active group. Thanks for the consideration!
I don't see the Psalm listed. I put a check mark in the box. It looks like it would load the entire book of Psalms.
please join the group the talk
@HigherGroundMom: This is a bit late, I know, but welcome aboard!! :)
Hi! I'm new here. I have been memorizing Psalms for some time and I am glad that they are all available here.
@Audrey, sorry it's been so long and no one has answered you! I have been really busy lately x) I would be glad to pray for you if you still need my prayers =) Hope you are doing well in your studies!
Hey everyone! How's it going as you all continue to pursue God's Word?! College and work have been filling up more and more of my time, and I've really been challenged to guard my Bible time... I'd appreciate your prayers on this. Does anyone else have prayer requests to share?
hello everyone I am inviting everyone in this group who is active to my group I just made named Active members ONLY. I am hoping to make a very active group. I am a very active person and I go on multiple times a day. I wan to have this active group to be able to share stuff and get answers quickly and that when questions are asked they get answered too. we can memorize together in a healthy environment of people from all around the globe!! I would gladly promote anyone who has verses to add or just them for you if you tell me which ones. thankyou for your consideration for joining my group!! may the Lord bless you all!!
@Alyssa: Nope! Glad you're here to help keep it going!
@Audrey, thanks! I was beginning to think that this group was inactive. :)
Hi everyone! I found this group, and I've started memorizing various Psalms, so I decided to join!
We've been pretty busy, but otherwise it has been fine! Happy Easter everybody :D
join my group named JOINusANYone
How's it going, everyone??
yeah. what have you been memorizing?
Yes. But no one has been on here a lot it seems. =)
I'ts just a smiley with a hat on :)
I like a lot of psalms... especially the happy ones :) I like psalm 100 and 121
I think mine would be maybe Psalm 139.
What is everyone's favorite chapter(s) of Psalm?
Thank you all! (I was surprised to see some of my friends in this group! ;))))
Thanks for letting me join, I am working on Memorizing psalms so this is just the group I need!
@Suzanne: We probably won't have a new challenge immediately, but I'll make sure to comment when I've got one up my sleeve. :)
so what is the new challenge?
happy new year everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To squeeze in one more pair of references before the new year, how about this? Psalm 107:29-30 says: "He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and He brought them to their desired haven." The CR is Matthew 8:26-27. "...Then He rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, 'What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey Him?'"
I love your chain of thought, Emily!
Well, not only is this a day late, but I'm also not sure this would be considered a Messianic Prophesy, but yesterday at church we read Psalm 98, and verses 8-9 stood out to me "Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity." Which reminded me of how Jesus says in John 7:24 to "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." which in turn reminded me of a CR I looked up for that last year which also ended up being a memory passage this year about the Branch in Isaiah 11:4 "But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked." Kind of round about, but that's what I was thinking about at church. :P
Thanks! what is the next challenge?
@Suzanne: That's perfect! Thanks for contributing!
Merry Christmas, folks! Here's another one:
Psalm 110:1, 4 "The Lord said unto my lord, 'Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool... The Lord hath sworn and will not repent: 'Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.'"
It's too long to write out here, but for Psalm 110:1 see Matthew 22:41-46 and Acts 2:34-36. For Psalm 110:4, see Hebrews 5:6-10, 6:19-20.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Psalms 41:9, NKJV, Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me." John 13:18, NKJV, I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.’ I hope I got it all right, this is my first time.
Merry Christmas a few hours early, everyone!!!! Hope y'all have a wonderful Christmas =)
Matthew 13:34-35 says, "All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 'I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.'" Psalm 78:2 says, "I will open my mouth in a parable, I will utter dark sayings of old,."
Psalm 45:2 says: "Thou art fairer than the children of men. Grace is poured into thy lips; therefore God hath blessed thee forever."
Luke 2:40 tells us that Jesus "...waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom. And the *grace* of God was upon him."
John 1:14 says: "The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. And we beheld his glory (the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of *grace* and truth."
In Luke 4:21-22, Jesus tells a crowd of people in the synagogue, "This day is the scripture fulfilled in your ears. And all bare him witness and wondered at the *gracious* words that proceeded out of his mouth."
Jesus is the King described in Psalm 45, great and powerful, true and good, full of grace and righteousness.
Absolutely! Welcome to our 'Memorize the Psalms' group!
can I join? I'm memorizing psalms too. hi Elizabeth!
Psalm 22:18; "They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots." (NKJV) Matthew 27:35; "Then they crucified Him, and divided His clothing by casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: 'They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.'" (NKJV) (Neat idea, BTW; I found a bunch of others too... Can't wait till next week) :P
Okay, the study challenge for the next two weeks is now posted! And remember, this doesn't have to be a private thing. I'd love to hear that you were able to share it with a friend, sibling, or parent! :)
Hey people! I hope you're all enjoying the very last month of 2016 *everybody freak out* Just wondering if anyone would be interested in participating in a small memory or Bible reading challenge this coming week. It's been a while since we've done that kind of thing, but I want to get back into it.
Please join my group called John 16-21! Here's the link: https://scripturetyper.com/Group/View/dad54f16a3/
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! :)
Thanks! It's showing up for me.
Okay, there should be a new one now... tell me if it's not showing up for you.
Yeah, where did the picture go?
What happened to the picture?
It's tough to keep everything up now (I'm certainly not doing a very good job), but think how many new Psalms we will know after this year's BB!!
This is a little late, but I'm doing the Bible Bee, also. :)
I'm also doing Bible Bee.
Just curious, how many people in this group are doing the Bible Bee? I am, for one.
=/ True - that would take a while.
@Brianna: It might take quite a while to go back and delete each one. Sorry it's clogging up the wall!
Wow, I haven't been on here in quite a while! What's with the all pointless stuff, TyGuy3157, ILIKEHACKS and ILikeTrains?
I think Audrey is the only admin
Someone who's admin, could you please delete all those meaningless comments?
URGENT!! I seriously have to WARN YOU!! The KJV BIBLE has been CHANGED! (Look up the #MandelaEffect) The Lords Prayer in the KJV is not correct anymore in the KJV (how we remember "tresspasses" changed to "debts" and "those who tresspass against us" changed to "our debtors" and "ON earth" in Mt6,10 changed to "IN earth" - look it up!!!) and John8:32 has changed, as well as Isaiah11,6 changed from "Lion and Lamb will live together" to "Wolve(s) and lamb will live together" Check out the Mandela-Effect-Wiki for more Information! http://mandela-effect-wiki.tk See here the page concerning changes in Bible-Translations: http://mandela-effect.bplaced.net/doku.php?id=changes_in_bible-translations_overview PS: i'm not joking, i'm totally serious! PPS: even wikipedia censors this topic... (see discussion on startpage in the wiki)
-btw. no, you cannot go to some original manuscript and look at Isaiah11:6 - it probably got changed as well. This might as well be the deception spoken of in 2Thess2 and Mt24 and also the fulfillment of the Prophecy in Amos8,11-14
As we look forward to Bible Bee, everyone please remember to pray for the staff as they try to prepare everything. I'm sure they're under tremendous pressure and would appreciate our prayers :)
I am! Looking forward to studying with everyone! :D
Oh, it's fixed now. Is anyone excited about the Bible Bee this year?
How come the logo is sideways?
None of us have. We are all somewhere on the low end of "as many of the Psalms as possible".
has anyone actually memorized the whole book of Psalms? if so that's amazing!

I'll try to keep the ones I already have up to date, but I don't think I'll have time to memorize more because of college.
I will probably not stop all together, but maybe memorize one here and there....I'm not sure. I'll see how busy I am.......
I am stopping memorizing the psalms when bible bee starts .......about y'all?
I have memorized ten verses this week (I memorized the other ten verses from Psalm 45; I already knew 1-7 from the BB)
Hey all! I hope you had a lovely Resurrection Sunday yesterday! I want to give an informal challenge especially to those in this group with no verses current to memorize ten verses this week.
Oh my goodness, you're right!! Thanks for bringing it up; I'll add that right away.
@Paisley, You're right! Psalm 10 is missing on mine too.....
@Audrey: I noticed that Psalm 10 is missing in the verses and thought that I would let you know! Thanks for starting this group!
Great job to everyone!! And thank you so much for supporting and encouraging one another. I love the positive, upbuilding vibe in this group. :)
I finished memorizing Psalm 47. Like has been said, the Psalm points out God's attributes, what He has done, and how we should respond - by praising Him! This is a psalm it would be good to keep in mind as a reminder for why we should praise Him.
Great job, Emily and Audrey! I finished as well. This Psalm was indeed a beautiful Psalm to memorize :)
Congratulations Emily and Audrey!
I just finished Psalm 47! I love the poetry that this psalm uses to describe the greatness of God. Language is a gift from our Creator, and Psalm 47 is a great example of how we should use that gift. It should inspire us to fall on our knees and offer our hearts in worship to God. How great He is!
Finished! Wow, this was a beautiful Psalm. I love how it praises God for many of His attributes...Most High, Terrible (Awesome/to be feared), King of all the earth, Powerful, Loving, worthy to be praised, Holy, Exalted. He alone is worthy of our adoration and worship!
I also thought I'd share with you the list I have running. With the memory challenges so far: Grace has memorized 93 verses; Nathaniel has memorized 87 verses; Yours truly has memorized 87 verses; Noah has memorized 50 verses; Emily H has memorized 26 verses; Buddy has memorized 26 verses. Wow! That's an impressive list. And what's more, I know that all of you have way more verse memorized than what's on the list. This is just in the context of the memory challenges. Keep it up, guys!
Memory Challenge IV is now posted!! I'm experimenting with doing it mid-week, so we don't have an extra stuff vying for our time on Mondays (oh those infamous Mondays). Let me know what you think! :)
no i just started the group ahead of time please join.
@Noah have they released the local verses for 2016 yet?
I may have to wait a little, Noah. Bot hopefully it won't be too long. :)
can we have a new memory challenge
For those of you who haven't memorized Psalm 115, there's still time!! Just block out an hour this afternoon.... it really doesn't take very long to memorize. :) :)
Great work Audrey, Noah, and Nathaniel! :)
I just finished Psalm 115. :)
Memory Challenge III is posted! I hope that many of you can participate! :)
Bella M called them and they said they were still 'reviewing the scores', so I guess we're not getting them yet :/
I have been watching for the scores as well, but have not seen them yet. I guess that one reason they were not posted on January 2 is because that was a weekend. I wonder if they will release them before GS is filmed? They might not want us(GS contestants)to know who goes on and such in the cases of ties. =/
Yeah, I've been waiting for them, too. I think they're late. Oh well.
@Nathaniel, Congratulations!!!! @ Audrey, I know that I have been encouraged by this group, because I have wanted to memorize the Psalms (or at least a portion of them) for a long time. I never got around to it, but this group has encouraged me to start memorizing! Also, memorizing God's Word is always encouraging to me. :)
Hey everybody!! Since it is the very last day of 2015 (and I like to be sentimental sometimes), let's step back and think about what's been happening already in this group. I personally have been really encouraged as I've looked things over. This group has been around about one month, and already we have well over 1500 verses memorized, over 200 payers for one another and we've even been able to memorize a few Psalms together. Think about what God's going to do in 2016 as we are faithful to memorize his word and follow Him!! If you want, share with the group how you've been encouraged or what God has taught you through memorizing the Psalms!!
@Grace: Yes, I hope so, too!
@Nathaniel: Cheers! You did it!
Congratulations Grace and Audrey! I finished also.
Great Job, Audrey! I hope that the others who are working on it will be able to finish today.
Yes! I just finished, too!
@Grace: That deserves congratulations! Nice work!
@Matryoshka1: That's a big project, but I know it will be rewarding. Keep on plugging away! You couldn't be spending your time better. :)
YAY!! I finished Psalm 107!!
This is a busy time of year but I am trying to get all my verses current before the new year. it got realy backed up durring Bible Bee
I know this is a busy season for everyone. Believe me, I expected to have the psalm finished by now... and I certainly don't. But, thankfully, we still have 3.5 days left!! If I can just block out an hour to work on it one of these days or get up a little earlier than usual, that should do it. :)
@Buddy, Me either :) @ Nathaniel, That's okay! I didn't notice, anyway :D
Psalm 107 has 43 verses. My apologies for saying otherwise.
I haven't had much time for memorizing lately :P
Slow, I have memorized 16/42 verses. I have four more sections (as my NASB shows it) to memorize in four days. In those verses I have most noticed the message of repentance "Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses".
How's everyone doing with Psalm 107? I'm still slowly plugging away at it! Remember, the point of this is to "praise the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men."
I'm not Grace, :) but I did hear that the scores will not be released any LATER than January 2nd. I am not aware of them being posted on the BB website or anywhere else.
@Grace: The scores are supposed to be available on the BB website, right? I keep thinking I've missed something because they were supposed to be posted by now...
i know that all ready half way !!!
Whew!! That's a long Psalm... No, I don't think that the scores have been released yet, besides the Senior's scores which were released at Nationals (at least, I haven't seen them).
Hey, BibleBee-ers, the national scores have not been released yet, have they??
Okay, folks!! The new memory challenge is posted! Merry Christmas!
@Nathaniel, Grace and Emily: Aww, thanks!! I'm glad they're over now. :)
You're right, Audrey, but I was thinking of not being able to post when I finished! Also, Congrats on your Performances!!
To echo what Nathaniel said, congratulations, Audrey on your performances! I'm so happy to hear that everything went smoothly and that God was glorified! :D
@Grace: Who says you have to memorize it on ST? Memorize out of your Bible in the airplane (or car)!! :)
I don't think that I'll be able to do a challenge next week, because we will be traveling for Christmas, and I use a computer, not a phone. I could do one this week, though. :)
Congratulations on your performances Audrey!
I would personally like the challenge next week, because I want to 'Memorize the Book of Psalms' (or a lot of them). A challenge would provide more motivation to do so.
Or would you all rather I wait until after the holidays?
Noah: I will probably post one next week. I already have one in mind!! :)
i hope we can have a new challenge.
Join my group guys! its called christmas! please invite others! Thx! the location right now is inchelium wa. It'll prob change to everywhere.
Thanks for praying, Noah. I really appreciate it.
That's great, Emily! Is it not a wonderful psalm to memorize?
I was working on memorizing Psalm 136 anyway, and your challenge, Audrey, gave me the extra motivation to finish (sometime early last week). Though obviously I haven't been getting a lot of reviewing in. Thanks for organizing that! Psalm 136 is absolutely beautiful.
I finished memorizing Psalm 136.
Great Job Noah! So did I!! :)
I have added an extra credit challenge to the original announcement.
Yay! I finished memorizing Psalm 136!
Ok...i would like the extra credit thing.
I might post an extra credit project that you can take on if you want to.
Fantastic work, Grace, Noah and Buddy!! Now that you've completed the challenge, your job is to faithfully review it throughout the week.
Okay, everyone!! Check your announcements page for this week's memory challenge!! I hope that you can participate!
I'll post the challenge later on tonight or tomorrow morning.
Don't worry!! The one I have in mind is not exactly short, but it is very manageable. (And, by the way, it is not a psalm that I have memorized, so I'll be doing it with you.) I'll post the challenge
Okay :) you can if you want to... But I can't promise I'll finish it!!! =D
I will!! (Just pleaseeeee don't make it Psalm 119!!)
(If you are in this group and you have zero verses current, this would be a great way to start off memorizing the psalms....)
Hey everybody!! How many of you are up to a challenge? In other words, if I gave a challenge to memorize a specific psalm (of my choosing) next week (Dec 6 - Dec 12) how many of you would participate?
rose garden i think you should take a break from asking that quetion
Pleassssse join my group it is memory cats and thanks to all who already joined :)
@Matryoshka1: Nope, I'm a diffrent Seth. I actually wasn't able to make it to SA. @Audrey: Maybe I was wrong. It was 6 years ago that we lived there.
yep ....you guys can still join.
Thats fine Audrey @anybody else can join if they want:)
Noah and Rose Garden: Thanks for the invites. I would like to join your groups, but I don't want to take on too much right now. My time is really full this year. Maybe someday..... :)
look at the announcement i posted.
join my group it is called noah i invited all who are in this group to join.
@Seth are you the Seth that won 2nd place in primaries or are you a different one?
nice job Audrey i invited you all to my group it is called Noah and we are doing Romans and 1 John.
Okay, everybody!! The book of Psalms is completely uploaded!! Thanks for your patience. :D
Hi Audrey can you join my group it is called memory cats and is in the top 20 or so groups:)
@Hannah: I'm getting there! :)
@enrique_mata: Were you in the Bible Bee?
Could you add Ps. 148? Thanks!
@Seth: Really? That's hilarious, because I have never lived in Texas. In fact, I have only been in San Antonio.
@Noah: Yes, I have a sister named Elizabeth.
Audrey your sister is elisibeth right ?
@Audrey: We used to live in texas before we moved, and there was someone there with the same name. Have you ever lived in texas?
@Noah: I'm Audrey Alessio.
@Nate: I hadn't thought about it, but now that you mention it, Psalm 2 would make a good cross-reference to the book of John in a couple places.
Audrey what is your last name.
oh and when i mean short i mean less than 6 verses
i joined your group seth.
Sweet! If you want I can also make a collection of just the verses. I also made a group called John 13-21.
rose garden will join soon you can have as many moderators as you want i think i think you can have tree admin audrey is already one of them
Is anyone else surprised that Psalm 2 wasn't a Nationals Passage? Psalm 2:3 seems to line up perfectly with John 11:47...
Psalm 121 is only eight verses long. Easy to memorize. Lots of Psalms like that.
Maybe you could add each chapter as a different collection. Then people can just go through and pick the chapter(s) they want to memorize or review.
I don't know if you can make another person an admin, but i do know that you can make another person be able to add verses (Moderators, I think they're called) I don't have a group, though, so I'm not positive :)
Hey, all you new people! Welcome aboard!
I'm just uploading them in order right now (with a few exceptions :)). So pick and choose the ones you know and want to learn right now, with the rest coming soon!
I'd love it if someone else could help out, but I wasn't quite sure if two people could add to the same collection or if a new admin would have to make a new collection.... I'm a little new to this, not quite sure how to make someone else admin.
Advice, anyone?
you should add some of the shorter chapters
she should have some moderaters so that some other people could add the verses.
I'm sure she will as soon as she has time!!! :)
well could she add the psalm 119 ones ?
Noah..... You should have those in some of the other groups. Do you need them in this group too?? She is (I think) just trying to add the psalms, as in doing each Psalm in one block, not splitting them up at all. (except for Psalm 119, of course) Your group, plus all the Bible Bee groups, have those in them. =)
Could you some of the following:psalm 119:17-24 psalm 34:4-5 psalm 119:9-16 psalm 16:8-11 psalm 33:6-9 psalm 19:14 psalm 100:3 psalm 37 7-11 psalm 11 :4-7 psalm 27 1-3 psalm 31:23-24 psalm 27:13-14 psalm 119:103 -105 psalm 56:3-4 psalm 34: 8-9 psalm 34:15-18 and psalm 49:12-15 thanks Noah.
Uh, "verses" as in "sections" not "verses" as in "chapter and verse." Man, it's been a long day.....
Oh my goodness, yes! I was planning to split Psalm 119 according to the original "verses".
Could you split up Psalm 119? That's a lot to do in one sitting. :)
@Noah: I don't think I can do them verse by verse because that would be just too many separate "passages". Try memorizing them on your own and then using ST only for review. I think that is the most effective.
Welcome, everybody!! Thanks for joining! I'll try to upload all those psalms as soon as possible.... Sorry for the delays so far. Great to see you all here to memorize God's word!
yeah please add psalm 145
Oh yeah, and Psalm 145??? Thanks...
Audrey, could you please add Psalm 33, 37, 51, 69, 94, and 139? Thank you so much! I know there are a lot of Psalms to add....
oh and could you add the psalms from the bb nationals?
hey audrey culd you add the chapters verse by verse please.thanks
Hey guys!! Thank you , Audrey, for starting this group =)
